Memorable safari
5/5

We were really fortunate in booking sunny safaris as our safari operator. we raised several questions regarding safari in serengatti forest and they were all addressed by Jessica without any hesitation. We really tortured her over mail regarding the itinerary and budget. But she was very cool and patiently explained and suggested ways to achieve our goals. Really she is an asset to the company. The company is charging only reasonable amount for the safari . They did provide good vehicles with experienced guides who helped a lot, particularly in locating the rare birds. Its a memorable trip.

Memorable trip in lifetime hosted by swahili paradise tours
5/5

Hi ,All

I'm Spanish guy who love to travel and share travel experiences with others , in June of last year i was travelling through East Africa from Kenya to Tanzania to explore the nature of wildlife , as solo male traveller in tight budget . My journey started in Kenya for 5 days which was based for 2 nights at Maasai Mara , 2 nights at Lake Nakuru and 1 night at Amboseli N.P , it wasn't cheaper at the beginning when i planned to do it alone , but after i read different on-line reviews i discover it's worth if i could share the costs with others . So i opened a deal to share my trip with others who loves to meet and join with new people on trip . from those reviews i found most of solos were talking about swap groups which operating in East Africa , so that i contacted some of agencies who could mingle me with swap groups , off-course each of them came with different quotations , but finally i took a deal from swahili paradise tours , because it was affordable to my budget i had . i joined a swap group from Kenya to Tanzania , where in Tanzania i was doing 4 days itinerary safari which started from Tarangire - Serengeti - ngorongoro . To be honest in each park which i was visiting had unique viewing , and the guides in each country were knowledgeable , tents were in good condition ,even sleeping bags and mattresses .

All in all i have to say this was the first one remarkable trip in my lifetime which i ever had before , so i love to go back to Tanzania and visit many places as much as it will be possible . Apart from this short review i have to say thank you every one who spent his/her time to help me to have this trip , and i am happy to recommend others to use this agency and swap groups when they are in East Africa .

Lo sentimos también para mi Inglés que no es mucho. De lo contrario, le deseo feliz viaje en África.

Very professional, responsive and responsible
5/5

We booked a 4 day safari (Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) and a 3 day Mt. Meru climb with the Safari Makers Ltd. All of our trip from the first contact a month prior to our trip to our departure was very professionally organized and communicated. Ezekiel Shayo did everything to include our preferences and wishes in the programme and communicated everything in a perfectly clear and accurate manner. The guides, drivers, cook all did a great job. We would specifically like to stress agency's readiness to solve any unexpected issues that might occur during our trip (when in Africa, expect the unexpected :-)). In a nutshell: highly recommended.

Fantastic Service and Awesome Itinerary
5/5

I was thrilled with the service that African Ubuntu Safaris provided to our tour group of 9. They really listened to what we wanted in our trip to Africa and came up with our perfect itinerary. Cuan, the agent we dealt with in Australia, had excellent communication skills and responded very quickly to both email and phone calls. Having offices both in Australia and Africa gave us peace of mind that we would be able to be in contact while we were in Africa if we needed it. He arranged 3 different styles of accommodation, house boat, hotel and "glamping", which really enhanced our travel experience. All the operators that African Ubuntu organized for us were very friendly, well informed and gave us so many opportunities to learn and enjoy the wildlife and local community. We will never forget our adventures in Africa, thanks to African Ubuntu Safaris.

Tanzania excursions life changing!
5/5

Selma and Yohannes, owners of Makasa Tanzanian Safaris, made all of the arrangements for our recent wonderful trip to Tanzania. We were extremely happy with every aspect of the trip, beginning with the initial contacts, scheduling, arrangements, and answers to our questions. We have corresponded with Selma for several months, and each time we contacted her with questions and possible changes, she answered promptly, thoughtfully, and thoroughly. Her suggestions and recommendations for places to visit, places to stay, customs that we needed to know about before visiting, and the order in which each part of the trip would go were helpful, accurate, and very prompt. When we wanted to add various different activities to the trip, she found a way to make these additions happen, safely and enjoyably. The guides employed by Makasa are insightful, thoughtful speakers of excellent English (great for us, as we speak no Swahili). We especially enjoyed the time we spent with a safari guide named Humphre, who had a wealth of information, knew where to find the animals, and had a fantastic sense of humor! Transportation provided to us during the tour was safe and always on time. There were no surprises involving the places we stayed; they were all as described to us by Selma. Selma and Yohannes even took the time to personally come to meet with us more than once, and make sure that the trip was meeting our expectations as well as answer questions. We highly recommend Makasa Tanzanian Safaris, as the arrangements and communications far exceeded our expectations, and our trip was most enjoyable!

3-day Call of the Wild
5/5

My wife was on a business trip in Tanzania for the third time and hasn't seen anything but airports and hotel rooms. This time she had a weekend off between conferences so I decided to fly down and meet her for a 3-day Safari what turned to be the best 3 day vacation ever!! Prior to arriving in Kilimanjaro we were talking, organizing the trip with Peter. He was very helpful and responsive to our emails. Because we only had 3 days to spare, we wanted to get the most out of it and decided to have a private tour - just my wife, myself, and Jackson (our driver and guide in one person) in a Land Cruiser. This way we didn't have to depend of others or make compromises. Our trip included: 2 days in Serengeti NP and 1 day in Ngorongoro Crater plus we visited a Masai village and learned more about their way of life. Jackson was very knowledgeable, friendly, and really cared we have the best time. We were very lucky to see all Big 5! (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and herds of wildebeests, zebras, and hippos, monkeys, lots of birds...the list goes on and on. Accommodation was excellent. We spent the first night in a tented camp in the heart of Serengeti where I tasted the best pumpkin soup, enjoyed gorgeous sunset, and was woken up from a sleep by a strange noise...first I thought it was Jackson laughing in the next tent just to find out later it was hyenas :) Even though it seemed impossible, the second day in Ngorongoro was probably even better adventure. Out of nowhere, a pride of 14 lions stood up from the tall grass and started walking toward us. We followed them across the crater until they settled again. Apparently, they were in a hunting mood. We sat there patiently, waiting for what happens next as three clueless buffaloes were getting closer to the pride. It was just like National Geographic in 4D - a jaw dropping experience seeing lions in action, their strategy of attack...just amazing, lost for words. I bet Safari is also on your bucket list...do it! This trip far exceeded our expectations. Hope to go back one day.

About: Safari.com
Walking Safari Big 5 included both the White and the Black Rhino
5/5

The entire staff was top notch from the kitchen staff and hostesses to the guides and rangers. We managed to stay at all three accommodations provided: the Rhino Post, Plains Camp and Platform in the Trees. Bonga took us on the driving part of our safari and he had great instincts spotting game even in the dark - elephants, hippos, rhinos, and hyena, In the day we saw all that and more - two leopards in a tree, a few lions in the road, etc. The walking part of the safari really exceeded are expectations. We saw all the Big 5 from close range feeling safe with our ranger Bernard Mhlanga and Amos. Being on foot was an amazing experience mixing the wonder of nature with adrenaline. The animals really seem bigger when you are on the ground with them. Bernard vast knowledge of animal behavior, tracking, bird song and flora and fauna was quite impressive. As was his and Amos' uncanny ability to track and spot the animals. Those four black rhinos at the end were the icing on the cake.
