Amazing trip
5/5

We spent 8 days traveling in the Northern parks of Tanzania. Everything was extremely satisfactory: we had a great viewings in each park we visited, excellent organization and accommodation with good value for money.
Roberto and Greyson arranged everything according to our needs tailoring our trip to fit our flight schedules and providing the best solutions also considering that we were traveling with children (12 and 8 years old).
There was no redundancy in the different sites we visited (Arusha NP, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) since every park had its peculiar landscape and different animals could be admired.
Ibrahim, our guide, was great driver, knowledgeable, friendly and always available and willing to help. His experience in exploring the different parks was an added value to find the best spots for animal viewing. We had therefore the opportunity to see more wild animals than expected surrounded by breathtaking views.
All accommodation was excellent and perfect for each situation, both lodges and tended camps. We really enjoyed the amazing location of Tarangire and the kindness and warm welcome of the Kati Kati camp staff in the Serengeti Park.
Overall we really had a great time and wish to thank all the Savannah Explorers team for this amazing trip.

An amazing safari! I recommend to everyone!
5/5

In April, my partner and I went to Kenya and did a week safari with Gametrackers starting in Nairobi and finishing in Mombasa. We went through Amboseli National Park, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. The guide was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. He spotted the most incredible game, such as the African Eagle Owl in the trees- that I would never have noticed on my own. The cook was also great- preparing delicious healthy meals in the middle of the bush! I recommend this safari company to everyone. They are professional and go the extra mile and listen to your needs as a customer. The best safari ever :-)

5/5

My Husband and I visited Kenya Early October last year. We were having both Kenya and Tanzania tour. At first we were hesitant on whether to use Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris for our trip or not. Honestly we experienced more than we expected. Then owner OT Was ever answering our queries instantly. The driver Masha was the best.Accomodations were excellent and food coked by our own private cook Jacob .This was unbelievable! We are planning to visit East Africa Again in future to do gorilla and definitely we will use KWSS.I would recommend KWSS to everyone wishing to visit East Africa. Again thank you KWSS for making our dreams come true!!

Trip of a Lifetime

We booked our itinerary with Planet Africa. Their attention to detail was commendable and the service was excellent from beginning to end. We first stayed at Ubuntu Migration Camp in the south Serengeti for two nights. The camp was amazing and we really were out in the middle of the bush. Guiding, staff, food and service were excellent. My only criticism was the 2 hour drive to the airstrip, but we did see lots of wonderful animals on the way. We then went to Sayari Camp in the north for 3 nights and it was perfect. The location and service was outstanding. Kathryn, Julie and the whole team did everything to ensure our trip was perfect for us. Sundowners on Christmas day beside the river viewing in excess of 30 hippo was wonderful . Our guide Elia was outstanding - he worked very hard to ensure we saw all of the big 5 on our 3 days. We wished we could have stayed there longer. We transferred to the Baraza Resort and Spa in Zanzibar. The villas are luxurious and Arabic in style and the beach had the most amazing white sand. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to take a direct flight to Zanzibar as the journey was over 4 hours.

Fantastic, well-organised experience.
5/5

My wife and I went on a 7-night safari with Amani Afrika to Tarangire/Serengeti/Ngorogoro national parks. The hotels that were booked were all great and the trip was well organised. Our guide was fantastic - we were among a group of about 5 land cruisers watching a pride of lions. After about one hour, the other cars all left. We asked out guide if we should leave too, and he said "no - these lions are definitely going to bring down that buffalo". Sure enough, they did, and it was amazing to see a hunt. Definitely a highlight of our trip. The only hitch was the car breaking down on the second day. They dealt with this really well, however; they dropped us off at the nearest Serena lodge where we had a buffet lunch with a view whilst waiting for the car to be fixed. The issue turned out to be dirty fuel that had been sold to them by a petrol station that was apparently a bit shady. At the time this was a bit annoying, but over the next few days we saw at least 20 vehicles all broken down around the national parks, so I guess this problem isn't so uncommon.

Awesome private safari - highly recommendable!!!
5/5

We (four adults) did a 5-day safari with Charles (Safari Porini) in December 2014 and had the best time ever. We spent one day in Moshi to relax and recover from the overnight flight before heading off on safari. In Moshi we met with Charles and Anuary, our personal chef on this tour, to discuss the plan for the next days as well as meal and dietary requirements. Then we spent ½ day in Tarangire National Park, ½ day in Ngorogoro Crater and 2 days in Serengeti National Park. Charles was a fantastic guide. He has a great knowledge of his country and the animals. His animal spotting skills are just amazing. Furthermore, and quite important is that he a fantastic driver which means a lot in Tanzania. Especially as we have seen other tour companies which were speeding quite a lot on the dirt roads to and from Serengeti. Our chef prepared delicious meals and guide and chef were flexible with meal times. Heading off to the parks at sunrise and having a picnic breakfast there – no problem at all. Charles did the planning and booking of our whole trip including domestic flights and a week on Zanzibar after the Safari. We found him extremely friendly and professional. Also not to forget, we learnt quite a bit Swahili.

Charles, thanks a lot for this great adventure. We enjoyed every part of it.

An amazing, enjoyable and informative trip.
5/5

This was a definite highlight of our holiday in South Africa. We hadn't been sure what to expect from a camping safari but were swayed by the excellent reviews of Pilanesberg Safaris &tours, so decided to go ahead and book. We were so glad we did - Ryan looked after us so well and did everything he could to help us to get sightings of a whole range of animals and birds - he never tired of sharing his knowledge, nor of making sure we were fed and watered. The experience was just as described on the web site, and although we were a bit worried about not being able to secure our booking with a deposit this was totally unnecessary as Ryan met us exactly as arranged. We came away with lots of photos and happy memories.

Very efficient and responsible
5/5

Terminal tours was a good choice for an African safari. The tour organisers were quick to arrange the tour in short notice. The driver was a nice guy who also gave good information on the way about the geography such as rift valley and also was expert to take us to right spots for the animals to be seen closely and also explained a bit about them. The food was served well on our way to masai mara and as well as at the camp. It was good to meet many friendly people even though I made a solo trip. Overall the safari was up to my expectations and am driven to book with them in future for a bigger safari.

Fantastic 5-day safari to Tarangire and Serengeti
5/5

Thanks Selma and Ngomi for organizing a perfect trip and Tuma, the guide/driver, for great company and a professional performance! We saw literally hundreds of elephants in Tarangire, we didn't know so many could fit in one 360deg field of view! Game viewing in Serengeti was excellent, with several prides of lion, cheetah, hyaena and even a close encounter with a leopard. Also all the other animals - gazillions of gnu of course, grazing from horizon to horizon on the green plains, topi (a new sight for us), dik dik and many others, birds such as ground hornbills, the colorful buffalo weaver, a secretary bird, kori bustards, various birds of prey, and others we still need to identify from photos. Tuma got excited with us over a busy dung beetle, and was always happy to stop for anything that tickled our fancy. I even got (painlessly) sucked on by a tsetse, also a novel experience (!?!) The accommodation was excellent. A booking glitch at one lodge was instantly resolved by Selma (while over-seas herself). The best thing about Makasa? The two delightful and professional owners.
