Repeat client, wouldn't go anywhere else
5/5

Given quite a difficult brief regarding times & criteria but eventually managed to find just the right fit at a reasonable price.
This is the third time I've used Rose & The Luxury Safari Company & thoroughly recommend her.
Excellent attention to detail, good communication & treated like a valued customer rather than just any old punter. Feels like we would be friends if we ever met in person!

Awesome experience!
5/5

We did the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli safari through Back of Africa in September ‘2016 when our daughter was doing a fellowship in Kenya. Our contact person was Alan who organized the tour for us and George was our tour guide. The tour was very well organized and we found George to be a very knowledgeable, personable and friendly tour guide. It exceeded all our expectations and we really enjoyed it and got to see the big 5 + a lot of other animals. Our request for vegetarian food was well accommodated!

Great customer service from a friendly team, a great Gorilla Trekking to Bwindi Impenetrable park
5/5

We had a great Gorilla trekking adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with Sites Travel Uganda.

Our four days Gorilla trek to Bwindi National Park started with Sites Travel Uganda picking us from the Entebbe airport in a clean, brand new Toyota Land Cruiser to Kampala city centre where we stayed before leaving for Kabale the following day - about 400km west of the city.

The journey to Kabale was fun, with a friendly driver who could speak in different languages to the locals on the way. We had numerous stop-overs on the way either to buy roasted chicken (muchomo) or crafts. The vehicle (4x4) was air conditioned and very comfortable for five passengers, We stayed at upscale Mahogany Springs in the town of Buhoma, which was very nice. Our package included entry fees to the National Park and 2 ranger guides (who are armed). Our local guide was from Sites Travel Uganda (www.sitestravel-ug.com)and he carried a couple of books for us.

We walked along a forest path and deep into the forest on our first day before we reached on the top of the ridge where a group of Gorillas were grazing - they were probably around 12. It was the greatest experience of my life - being so close to those magnificent creatures.

The rest of the trip was very smooth and fun.

Our experience with Sites Travel Uganda was great right from the start to the end and I think their charges are fair compared to other agencies we contacted.

I 100% recommend Sites Travel to anyone who wishes to go to Uganda.

Seamless operations, perfectly planned trip!
5/5

Everything exceeded expectations. This was our first trip to Africa and Ute did an amazing job planning it. The communication was very easy and she was available for any questions we had. All the transport for the activities and between lodges was extremely smooth and punctual. We loved the lodges and the activities Ute booked for us, in particular devil's pool in Victoria Falls, Bakwena lodge in Chobe, and Machaba camp in Khwai. Our guide at Machaba Camp, Moreri, was terrific. Our drives with him were the highlight of our trip. We also really enjoyed the mokoro activity at Machaba. We highly recommend Ute and the itinerary she booked for us. Thank you!

Charms of Africa at its best
5/5

Excellent service, everything was scheduled and on time. Every question regrading country, customs or culture were answered with deep knowledge of the subject. The Kruger Park safari was an unforgettable experience. To see those wild animals in direct proximity is giving absolutely amazing feeling. Everybody returned home with beautiful pictures as a souvenirs from this wonderful expedition.
While in South Africa no one should missed the Victoria Waterfalls. This is the place that can be only compared with Grand Canyon. For sure your breath will be taken away.
Safpol Safaris is the only travel office which will show you all that and much more.

Excellent Experience
5/5

First and foremost, Safari is one of the dreams that I want to accomplished while still young. Since Safari is only possible when you are in Africa, one of my perception is that you need to ensure that you are safe. Karibu has provided me everything that I need and I am overwhelmed about the services provided to us. First day of the trip was cool because we already saw some amazing animals and on the second day we already accomplished the big 5. We also went to Lake Naivasha which John suggested and is not part of the itinerary so it's a plus. I am grateful with John because everytime we see animals, we usually pause so we can see them clearly and take amazing photos. For me that is something special. I am a solo traveler and I am happy coz I am with good people. John was able to answer our queries during the trip and he provided information that we do not know about the species. I am looking forward to go back in Kenya with your Agency. Thank you so much for everything!

Can't recommend highly enough.
5/5

We booked our honeymoon through Wayfairer, after having spoken to a number of agents. From the first conversation they were excellent, and very good at turning our half-formed ideas into concrete suggestions. The service they offered throughout was also great, very responsive and easy to get hold of, and always extremely helpful.

The tour they put together was fabulous. Our guide was amazing, and the lodges/camps where we stayed were all memorable and very comfortable. The second week of our trip was spent on an island resort which was everything we could have hoped for - luxurious and beautiful, while feeling like a totally private hidden gem.

Travelling responsibly was important to us, as we knew we would spending large sums of money in a much poorer part of the world, with an ecosystem which has seen tremendous damage in the past. Booking through Wayfairer we knew that all the staff we encountered were fairly treated and paid, and that we could feel confident that our presence was not harmful.

Lastly I have to say what an absolute treat it was to go on a trip where every detail had been thought of in advance, and arrangements put in place so that from the moment we stepped off the plane we felt completely in safe hands, without having to do any of the hard work of figuring out where the hell we were supposed to go or how we were going to get there. This was the first time we've booked through a travel agent, and for a trip like ours I would absolutely recommend doing so, and can only say positive things about our experience with Wayfairer specifically.

Great trip!
5/5

Noel was a fantastic guide on our 6 day Kilimanjaro trip on the Machame Route. He had a great attitude the whole trip and made sure that we paced ourselves over the 6 days. The whole team was amazing and worked so hard to make sure that our hike went as planned. Would highly recommend traveling with Noel.
