Chaos - another name for Galloping Safaris
2/5

More than nine month in advance we booked a helicopter flight to Mount Kilimanjaro with Galloping Safaris (920 US-$ per person). The mail contact was easy at the beginnig! later on difficult. For example twice we were promised that the agency would create a simpler - which means less costly - mode of payment --- nothing happened. At the end no mail was answered and twelve hours before our schedule departure we did not know the location for the take-off. The meeting point initial mentioned (Moshi Airport) was changed ten hours before departures to a place on the outskirts of Arusha - without priori notice. If we had not inquired we would not have known the new place for take-off. Since the first place of our departure was supposed to be Moshi we booked a hotel room there and had to travel from Moshi to Arusha early in the morning and without breakfast. By the way: departures time changed from 10 am to 8 am.
Apart from that the payment of the full amount was due well in advance.
Because of all this trouble we would not recommend Galloping Safaris.

Absolute Rip Off

Do Not Book With This Group!!!!
I booked the 3 day Massai Mara safari with this group, paid in advance, and they left me stranded at the hotel. I tried emailing, texting, calling, and Facebooking them with no success. The hotel I was staying at tried to contact them, as did the lodge I was booked into for the safari. I have tried to contact them in a variety of different ways over the last 10 days with NO response from them.
Don't book with this group.

All staff made tours interesting. They had good knowledge of the history in question.

Extraordinarily Rewarding Safari
5/5

Travel services provided by Gazelle / Ubon Safari Limited was exceptional. They cared very much, were very attentive to details and helped in times of need.
Given their support, the safari itself was very rewarding. We had a great driver who was experienced and careful at the same time. We were able to see the beautiful landscape of Ngorongoro and Serengeti, saw plenty of animals, and had many pleasant encounters with the local population. Accommodation was always to our full satisfaction.
I'd wholeheartedly recommend the safari and its organizers.

Ivory Route - fantastic
5/5

We have just returned from the 2-week Botswana & Zimbabwe Ivory Route, which exceeded our already high expectations (we have traveled several times with Sunways). The route was well chosen and the activities as well. The accommodations were all good, Hyena Pan was again fantastic with the many animals at the waterhole. The travel times were long but absolutely in order. Our highlights were:
- Matobos National Park, where we were only a few meters away from the rhinoceros (mummy, dad and baby)
- Moremi Game Reserve, where we have seen a young leopard have torn a little impala
- Shakawe - Okavango Delta, where we spent a night on a houseboat
- Maun - the flight with the open helicopter over the Okavango Delta (at his own expense)
- Chobe National Park, where we have seen a lot of elephants and of course a leopard with its two babies.

We will never forget this trip - our honeymoon.

Many thanks to Sunway Safaris and our two guides Chris Zvidzayi and Chris Zulu who have made this possible.

All in all, we can only recommend Sunways and already plan another safari with Sunways next year.

An agent you can trust in organising your trips in Africa
5/5

We engaged Matthew’s company twice for our trips in Africa. The first time he put up a wonderful trip for us in only 3 days (Zimbabwe, Botswana and Zambia); and this time across Uganda and gorilla watching in Rwanda. We had plenty of time for planning and Matthew had not failed his services – all our numerous emails in the last 12 months were responded in prompt and polite manner; and all our requests were fulfilled for our tailored tour. All his recommendations for hotel/accommodations are the best in the region; and his staff/guides/partners are top notch. This time he even travelled from Kenya to Entebbe to greet us in the airport upon our arrival. A very reliable agent for satisfying trips in Africa. Thank you.

A really great way to see a beautiful country and we have had a wonderful holiday.
5/5

Nature Travel made it simple from the outset to arrange our trip to Namibia . They structured everything around what we were hoping to see in the time available. Communication was excellent and Esmari went out of her way to find accommodation that fitted our itinerary and we were very happy with her choices, some of which were amazing. Our guide, Lucky, was fantastic, knowledgeable and flexible to our needs and everything from a logistics point of view was taken care of efficiently. It has all added up to a fantastic holiday and I would recommend Nature Travel to anyone wanting to see Namibia either for the first time, or as a return visitor as I am- it has been a memorable experience.

South Africa and a Safari at Madikwe National Reserve is a must on your bucket list
Overall rating
5/5

Madikwe was fabulous. The 260 square mile preserve is large enough to be home to all of the animals and birds you want to see on a safari (and many you have never heard about) but is not crowded with tourists and allowed a really intimate viewing of the wildlife. We stayed 2 nights each at two wonderful small lodges at different sides of the park and really feel we got to see different aspects of the area. For others who had been to safaris elsewhere we heard that off road viewing permitted here is not allowed elsewhere and therefore we were able to see more wildlife up close.
