Review about Balule Nature Reserve by James Autry
In the dry season, the bush is not the most scenic environment.

Less Crowded but Plenty to See
Arusha National Park was our first destination on our two week Safari in Tanzania and Kenya. What we really liked about the park is it is smaller and less crowded than the other parks, but still had a good variety of wildlife. We were excited to see our first baboon, but then saw large groups that were fascinating to watch. We encountered our first elephants with 10 feet of the Land Cruiser. We say Colobus monkeys jumping from tree to tree and some very cute blue monkeys. We also saw a few giraffes. Didn't see any cats, but saw plenty at other locations. Arusha was fairly close to our lodge, so we got back in time to relax. We did not run into any bugs. We highly recommend Arusha.

Beautyful senic and an impressiv wildlife. Kilimanjaro is a memorable experience. I am very exited.
The wildlife was really exiting. I saw many animals in the nature. I also climbed the Kilimanjaro. This was one of my best experiences I ever did so far. It is really impressive and also a real test for your body and mental skill. I really suggest to you to do this.
On the other hand I realised that you as a Tourist are just enough to pay a lot of money for a safari and not to get really the value for this. I booked with openafricasafari.com and the Price was much to much for this i got. In the same group were 6 other people who paid around 600 dollars for a 3 days safari. (I was booked on a group with maximum of 6 people and I was the 7th person!). The first 2 days was great. The second was so so. But my last day was worthless. A nature walk on the road. Walking straigt to a lake and than the same way back. How boring. Really not an experience. They sold me a nature walk!!!! They promised me to visit a School an a Hospital. We did not. I got some explanation about how bananas grow and so on. But a normal Person knows this already. The guide came to late in morning and was very surprised that I could walk for 3 hours and I did not call for a taxi, which, of course I would have to pay for it. (all the stupid Tourist are just rich and pay all the time!) Furthermore I had to tell the guide what we gonna visit. Otherwise we would have been back to the Hotel very early. I really paid around 200 dollars to much for this trip. I would not book whith this agency again.
The 3. day. The other 6 persons booked only 3 days. So the guide wanted to leave the game park at mid day. But I booked a full day in this game reserve. Even the others ha in there itinery that they would stay until 3 o'clock. Finally the guide turned around an we continued the game drive. But the day was not good anymore.
It is a shame to treat Tourist like this. Tansania is just a nice country and I met so many good guides on my 2 month journey trough south africa.
I was travelling for 8 weeks with other different tour guides (south africa, Namibia, Botswana and Tansania)and it always was a very good experience. Only the safari with openafricasafari fucked up. I asked for same money back, but,,,,,

Where the Wild Things Still Are
My wife and I had an excellent safari experience, with knowledgable guides, nice accomodations, and good food. We will never forget the experience of being in the bush and seeing all the creatures we have dreamed of. Sadly, we fear that wildlife is in danger of disappearing and hope that all steps will be taken to preserve it.

The big five, all before breakfast.
Out South Africa holiday and safari were incredible. We had the sunset safari, the early morning and afternoon game drives and hoped to see a few of the big five. We had great tour guides who knew the terrain and where to find the creatures, great communication between the guides sharing information about sightings as well. We saw impressive animals on every outing including all of the big five before breakfast one morning. Job well done.
We were treated very well by our tour operators and lodging staff. The food supplied as part of our tour plentiful and tasty. Everyone was very kind and made us feel like we want to come back. Job well done!

Fantastic experience - brilliant guide, fantastic camp crew and memories to last a lifetime
We completed a two week tour that was organised through Encompass Africa. The highlight of the two week trip was the six day mobile safari that we did in Botswana. The memories I will take away from this are the sounds of hyenas wandering through the campsite, elephants playing in the river nearby and elephants roaring in the distance. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and had excellent English. He was so friendly and became a part of our family for the duration of the safari. The camp crew of four who set up camp and cooked were also amazing. Lovely friendly guys. My memory of them is their happy smiling faces and two hand waves every time we rolled back into camp. Each night we would enter camp and there was the fire all set up, with the chairs arranged and the wines/beers etc all laid out for us. A great way to celebrate yet another unique day on safari. Our twice daily safaris got us up close and personal to so many animals including lions, leopards, zebra, giraffes, elephants, gnu...to name just a few. The remaining time was spent in Johannesburg, Vic Falls, Chobe River and Capetown. All in all it was a fantastic trip. We have travelled widely previously but nothing will come close to our Africa experience.

Outstanding Again
This was our second trip with Moriti and we wouldn't dream of going with anyone else. I was a little worried beforehand that it couldn't possibly be as good second time around, but again it didn't disappoint. Shaun really knows his stuff and is great to be around - it's like being on holiday with a good friend. Nothing is too much trouble for him and we saw a great mix of animals including the Big 5 on five different days. Get planning our next adventure, Shaun, we'll be back again!

The Ultimate 80 Day African Safari of a Life Time Made Possible by Kikwetu
At the age of 70, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and visit different countries in Africa. From the beginning it was clear to me that I wanted an African tour operator and through client reviews I came upon Kikwetu Cultural Adventures and Ken. It was the best that could have happened to me.
During the long period of planning, since the places I wanted to go and the things I wanted to do kept increasing while I was reading about the continent, Ken's response vĂa e-mail to my multiple questions and doubts was constant, immediate and always helpful in orientation. Finally, I ended up with a 80 day private Safari in Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, North Sudan and Ethiopia. Ken has the itinerary (if someone is interested), since he arranged for everything. For me, there is only left to say, it was absolutely perfect: Not one single thing that went wrong during the 80 days, excellent logistics, warm, detailed personalized attention throughout, more than fair cost/benefit relation, but above all, an outstanding, caring, knowledgeable team of guides and drivers who turned into dear friends. Thank you Ken, thank you Livingstone with the memory of an elephant and the eyes of an eagle (!), thank you Agustin in Uganda for always proving my much loved dried bananas and encouraging me on that memorable gorilla trekking in Bwindi, thanks to Mr. Achmed and his team for making it possible to visit the most incredible sites in Sudan, thank you Birhanu for providing exactly what I needed when I came back totally wiped out from Erta Ale and thank you, Alex, for making me laugh, getting me on and off the camel and for the many other funny occasions we shared on our safari!
If I could, I would do it all over again and I would not want to miss one single day of an unforgettable experience!
¡Thank you all!

Well organised, friendly, great local knowledge, custom tours, value for money.
Our All Around Tanzania safari with our group of 6 was a fantastic experience. We saw a huge amount of animals and bird life, much of which was quite close up. Marco, our driver/guide, looked after us very professionally all during our 10 day safari. Before starting he took us to a reputable currency exchange, organised a local SIM card if required, purchased a heap of bottled water and made sure we had everything we needed.
Our custom safari included Tarangire NP, Lake Mangara NP, Ngorongoro Crater NP and an extensive coverage of the Serengetti NP. Our safari was more than just animals and birds – it included a town tour of Arusha, visits to a Masai village, bushmens camp, orphanage, school and Olduvai Gorge (the birth of mankind). Throughout, Marco’s knowledge of the flora and fauna was excellent and he displayed an incredible enthusiasm and patience taking us around the parks and answering our questions.
All the accommodation was excellent and the safari camps have excellent ensuite tents with hot showers, flush toilets and very comfortable beds. The food was excellent and more than we could eat. And don’t forget the great beers. Everyone we came across was friendly and helpful.
Everyone in our group had a great time, really enjoyed the experience and thought it was great value. I highly recommend All Around Tanzania Safaris. To get an idea of what there is to see you are welcome to check out my blog at https://aroundtanzania2017.blogspot.com.au/
