Very exciting. This was the first park we went to on the trip. Seeing my first Giraffe, Elephant, wilderbeast, Zebra....etc. all phenomenal moments!

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by shehnai
By the time we went to Ngorongoro we had seen all of the animals. This was seeing them in a different habitat, yet similar. I loved the hippo pond & seeing the lush green grasses & water where the Zebra & wilder-beast congregated.

A step back in time to the beauty and wonder of the Serengeti's wildlife in their savanna home.
My trip exceeded my expectations. A trip I will never forget. I saw all the animals at a distance and up-close. We were even lucky enough to see the elusive Black Rhino. My guides had encyclopedic knowledge spanning the wide array of wildlife, plants & natural habitat, as well as a passion to be good ambassadors for their country of Tanzania. Spectacular sunsets, delicious meals, while be hosted in a luxury tented campsite. My trip in September proved to be nice weather, mostly dry & warm with good evening doses of rainstorms. Jeeps are comfortable, and you soon forget about the bumpy dirt roads because your attention is with the scenery & animals. Every day was a good day!

Amazing wildlife in a lush waterworld
The Selous Game Reserve is a vast wilderness conservation area just South of Dar Es Salaam. The 30-minutes flights that leaves Dar for the park is managed by Coastal Aviation, one of the best airlines in the whole continent.
We stayed at Lake Manze lodge, managed by Essential Destinations and our stay was just perfect. The food was incredibly creative and never boring (especially considering the remoteness of the location), the management was extremely professional in making our stay memorable and keep us busy for the 2.5 days that we spent over there. The lodge organizes both jeep safaris as well as short but interesting walking safaris, fishing trips and, what is probably the most delightful experience of all, a boat safari on the lake at sunrise or sunset. Our guides were funny, professional, experienced and they too contributed in making our trip one to remember.

Beautiful scenery. Really beautiful birds. Would have loved to gone through some backroads to get closer to some of the wildlife.

A unique and unforgettable experience.
We were on a camping safari organised by On The Go Tours in conjunction with Africa Tour Company. We thoroughly enjoyed the Mokoro ride through the blue water of the Delta...it is so relaxing with only the sound of the Mokoro slicing through the water accompanied by the sound of the reeds in the breeze. We saw some grazing zebras far away, beautiful water lilies and lily pads, local wild flowers and some birds. It was sunny and warm and most of us were completely relaxed.
Our campsite was in a remote area with fixed tents and attached open air "en-suite". At night we have a fantastic view of the Milky Way and stars. After dinner, the polos and campsite personnels gave an impromptu concert singing and dancing...the atmosphere is simply wonderful and you feel you are really experiencing the real Africa.
We had a guided walk in the evening through the Delta and were given a first hand education on the local flora and their medicinal benefits...the climax that evening is to view the sunset out in the water in the mokoro and the next morning to see the sunrise.
An amazing experience!
Being a lover for wild animals and nature in general my experience was breathtaking,we were able to see the big 5,the ugly 5 were also in the reserve including the marabou stork, certain indigenous trees were in the vicinity too.The tented camps were great and our driver/guide was very knowledgeable.though the wildebeests migration was over we were able to see one of the points where this happens on sand river where there were many hippos and crocodiles.
