Family safari
5/5

My husband and I waited for some years for our grils to grow up a little bit and to start travelling a little more again. So for our first holiday together with a 6 and 8 year old girls we had a lot of expectations, bit also fears and questions. Nataša from Shadows of Africa really made a difference. She did not just arranged the safari that was ok for children and still very interesting for us, and get us the perfect guide and person Tim, but arranged our whole holiday. We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Olpopongi masai village and Zanzibar; Stone town and Kendwa beach. She booked all the right hotels for us and got us plane tickets and all transfers so we had no worries at all. All we had to do was enjoy! And we did, very much. I highly recomend them!

Unforgettable experience!
5/5

Hello, we are an italian young couple that booked the whole safari online thanks to the kind help of Esmail who suggested us the best option according to our needs, desires and budget.
The safari started on the 18th August from Arusha, the driver, Nurdin, picked up us at the hotel with an amazing and very comfortable jeep (Toyota Land Cruiser) and he had started to explain us many things about Africa, Tanzania, lifestyle and of course, about the savana and the safari we were just starting.
We were so thrilled about seeing "the big 5" and feeling the real African wildness.
After an extraordinary route to Ngorongoro Crater (we also stopped in a Masai village) we arrived in Serengeti National Park where we slept 2 nights in a whortly wild lodge in the middle of the park, Seronera area (Kati Kati Camp);in Kati Kati camp you can feel and live the real Tanzania thanks to the animals that during the nights passed across the tends. Just one word: fantastic!
The day after we had had the game drive in Seronera and we were very lucky: we had seen all of the big 5!!! The driver always gave us information about animals, plants and the Savana and he was much helpful and kind to us. The following day we drove to Ngorongoro Crater where we saw the fantastic gnu and zebra migration and so many animals including the rhino. We slept in Octagon Lodge in Karatu, near Lake Manyara where the day after we had the last but non least game drive.
The accomodations and the food were always in line with our expectations; the driver and the guides were helpful and always dedicated to us and our needs.
For the total of 1600 km on route we can go on record as saying that the safari was an incredible and unforgettable experience and we strongly suggest it with "Safari Big 5".

World Class Tour Operator.
5/5

Me and my husband had a 3 days private safari to Masai Mara to witness the great migration. I had contact with Savannah Jamboree Travel to book for the game drives and balloon safari in the park. The response to my enquiry was urgent and the budget was reasonable. After we arrived in Nairobi, we were picked at the airport, transferred to our hotel where we rested waiting for our safari the next day. We visited the great Rift valley, lake Nakuru and Masai Mara which marked an awesome safari experience. I have carried lots of photos with me. Great country and great people. Thank you for your quality services.

Fantastic 7 days trip to Rwanda and Uganda
5/5

Gorilla Trek Africa organized for us an exceptionally 7 days primates trip to Uganda and Rwanda in August 2014. Our guide Eric exhibited great guiding skills. He was indeed a very knowledgeable and interactive guide.

We had a very comfortable luxurious Safari car. At one section of road from Queen Elizabeth national park to Ruhija, we found several Safari cars stuck as it had rained heavily and the road under construction was so slippery. We managed to pass with less inconvenience. We tracked the Amahoro gorilla group in Volcanoes national park. This was the major highlight of our Safari. Special thanks go to Nicholas who organized a Safari that surpassed our expectations.

Amazing Maasai Mara experience
5/5

Me and my fiancé went on a 3day safari and 2day Lake Naivasha trip. We selected Kenya Walking Survivors because they gave us the best offer in terms of length and itinerary vs. price. We were positively surprised OT upgraded us from a tent to the bungalow. But what was the best was that we had a private car and a guide/driver dedicated only for us - something we didn't ask for as usually it's just too expensive. Maasai Mara is also the best place in Kenya to do your safari. We were lucky enough to see the wildebeests crossing the Mara river twice. We also saw lost of all the animals you expect to see once you're in Africa :) The camp we stayed at was ok. Clean, food was good and the cook was very nice and friendly.

Lake Naivasha was not as great as Maasai Mara. The water level was high so all the flamingos flew away. But still we took a boat ride (100USD for a couple) and were chased by a group of hippos - was fun :). We also went on a walking trip to the National Park where we saw lots of giraffes, zebras, pumbas, etc. On one hand we saw a lot more on our safari just a couple of days ago, on the other it's a way different when you are not in a car and can approach all the animals as close as possible. Just the guide they hired for that trip was weird as he did not say a single word through the entire day. Fish Eagle Inn we stayed at was ok and the food was delicious. The only thing I would change in the entire trip would probably be to go to Nakuru Lake instead of Naivasha - just a bit further but from what we were told - much nicer.

In general I would definitely recommend Kenya Walking Survivors. If we go back to Africa we will for sure organize out trips with them and we will definitely ask Kenny to be our guide again. He is a really nice guy with a huge knowledge about the animals and wildlife in general.

Unforgettable Adventure!
5/5

I was trying to get a reasonable Safari in Tanzania without going through an expensive Company. I contacted Good Earth Tours; they were professional and very polite. We agreed on a price which was excellent. We had Richie as our guide who is pleasant and can spot an animal hundreds of miles away hidden. Richie has a vast knowledge of animals, birds and even plants!! It was an adventure we will never forget.
