About: Epic Tours
really enjoyable
5/5

My husband and I enjoyed a trip with epic tours on our holiday to Tanzania. We did all the planning with Ezekiel through email, From our local flights to hotels in the mainland and Zanzibar. on the day of our arrival, our driver Temba was at the airport to pick us up and start our safari as we requested that we would like to start the safari right away. we were really impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable Temba was from the first day. there were always new things to explore in the parks, especially the Serengeti, as the guide knew all corners of thus large National park. We were very pleased with the safari and would always use your service if we travel to Tanzania again.

Great birding destination. Attractions include pelicans, storks, hornbills and blue monkey. Its become rarer to see the tree climbing lions that this park was famous for

Amazing Serengeti Adventure
Overall rating
5/5

The Serengeti is a vast and beautiful national park and it is truly an amazing experience to see all the animals in their natural habitat. The sheer number and variety of animals and birds is staggering and every day offered a different adventure. I spent three days here and managed to see over 125 species of birds. E-trip Africa provided me with a great guide/driver and a customized itinerary

I stayed at the Ikoma tented camp and Kati Kati camp. The camps were very clean, had friendly and courteous staff and the food was amazing. The Kati Kati camp was located inside the Serenegti and their evening entertainment involved a bonfire and live 'bush TV' (watching wild animals stroll by). One of my most unforgettable experience was being woken up in the middle of the night by a hyena howling outside my tent!

The Serengeti in my opinion was better managed than the Masai Mara. All the safari vehicles stayed on the trails due to stricter regulations and I did not witness any vehicles driving off the path and harassing the animals

Extraordinary Journeys was absolutely wonderful to work with!
5/5

Every experience we had with Extraordinary Journeys was truly delightful. They did a terrific job of listening to exactly what we were looking for in our trip and making it happen.

My husband was sick upon arrival to Africa and the Extraordinary Journeys team re-arranged everything for us on a second's notice. Everything was seamless and taken care of. I definitely recommend working with them.

I went already for Game drives in Uganda and Tanzania with other agencys. But this one was the best Trip. The communication was good, everything went on in time and like we agreed before. The driver Twaha was a very nice company, he cared well for us and he was always funny. We went for 3 days and I really enjoyed the whole Trip. Webale nnyo basebo

Fantastic! Unforgettable holiday
5/5

We have just returned from a five day safari in Tarangire, Serengetti and Ngorongoro Crater. It was an amazing and truly wonderful experience. Our driver/guide, Peter, was fantastic - very experienced and extremely knowledgable. We saw a huge amount of wildlife and had such a great time with him. The lodges and camps we stayed at were lovely and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. We were so impressed by the level of care and when we asked for a change in our itinerary to stay at Ndutu mobile camp rather than a third night at Naona Moru it was sorted and organised by Donna and Peter immediately. We cannot praise Maasai Wanderings enough and we are already planning a return visit in 2018 and will definitely be booking with Maasai Wanderings again.

Amazing trip - Amazing Country - Amazing Company - Amazing Staff
5/5

I can't say enough about Giltedge Africa (formerly Southern Africa Travel) and our contact Monique.  Like most people this was our once in a lifetime trip.  Monique worked with us to hit all of our points of interest within our 21 day time frame.  She handled all bookings, internal air travel and transport.  Everyone who was supposed to meet us was there on time and couldn't have been friendlier.  Clearly they all loved their county and were proud to talk about it as they educated us on everything from ancient history to modern politics.  We even got a call from Monique when we were in Cape Town just to make sure everything was going as we had imagined.
We saw Victoria Falls and had an incredible 3 days at the Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in Kruger National Park.  Accommodations were 5 star and the staff were great.  We were able to see the Big 5 and then some.  Many of them we spotted right from our deck.  From there to Cape Town, wine country and then Pumba Lodge for a second safari.  The white lions are creatures everyone should witness in their life.
Upon arriving home the typical comment was "I'm so jealous. Africa is on my bucket list."  Stop thinking about it and just go.  You will not regret it.

A truly Fantastic adventure!
5/5

This trip was like a dream come true. My husband and I are both biologists, and we couldn't have asked for a more reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy guide. Gerald is just the best! His English is flawless, and his knowledge about the wildlife and countryside is boundless (and you can be sure, we asked loads of questions!) I was apprehensive about the trip at first, never having been to Africa or gone on Safari, but the minute we got off the plane and saw Gerald waiting for us, my worries evaporated. He was such a funny, lively companion, a thorough scholar, and a true gentleman. Gerald protected our interests, was patient and responsive to our requests, and he was also a great deal more considerate of both the wildlife and other drivers than many of the other tour groups we saw on the trip. We had a truly amazing experience, and I cannot recommend Gerald and this tour group highly enough. My husband and I were completely awed by the trip, and we were so blessed to have such a wonderful guide!
