Home To Africa Tours is the best tour operator in Uganda. A few weeks back we traveled to Bwindi impenetrable with Kareem to explore the beauty that is Uganda. This company took care of us . with most comfortable car , Great guide .We highly recommend it to the next travelers

Very impressive with a awesome guide
4/5

It was arranged in the Netherlands. We didn't know we could have done it by ourself.
The guide was there for us at the airport in Oeganda and has driven safely and showed us a lot of fine things.
The chimps were very cute and the gorilla's visit very expensive but allright. The chumps seem to have more freedom than the gorilla's. In Rwanda the stay in hotel les mille collines was very good.
Next time it would be better when we coud set out a trip together.

An amazing experience

Whilst staying on a local private game reserve we went into the Kruger on 2 days. I don't know whether we were just lucky or if its always like this, but we saw so many amazing sights on both occasions. We were helped hugely by having an excellent guide and driver on both occasions. I really think this is key to having a great experience. They know the animal behaviour and can spot so many animals we would have missed if we were on our own. Their knowledge of the park will have also helped massively. On both occasions we found the park to be quiet with not too many other vehicles to contend with. This was a concern of mine before going. We did find a few crowds where there were 5-10 other vehicles, but these were on the main paved roads where there were leopards, cheetah or elephants in water holes. The rest of the time we just explored and mostly were the only vehicle watching the animals. On both days we were there we saw the big 5 and so much more. A brief list of animals we saw whilst there includes: Lions, Cheetah, Leopard (3 in trees, one hunting), Jackal, Wild Dogs, Hyena, Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffalo, Ostriches, Vultures, Birds of Prey, Kudu, Impala, Steenbok, Nyala, Wildebeest, Warthogs, Waterbuck, Crocodiles, Hippos, countless birds, a couple of species of mongoose, baboons, monkeys, white rhino. We were also fortunate enough to see a black rhino. One thing to note is that it is well worth arriving as the gates open and leaving just before they close. The animals are out and moving around best when its a bit cooler and tend to stay out of the heat of the day a bit. It can be quite chilly at this time so warm clothes are advised and it can get stiflingly hot in the middle of the day. The area we visited was entering through the Orpen gate and heading North and South from Santara. It was September and incredibly dry which made viewing animals easier. All in all we found it a wonderful place and are thinking of saving for another trip, perhaps in a different season.

Wildlife is definitely better than Balule, but there are more tourists as well. All roads are paved.

Because of the drought, wildlife is a little bit less than Kruger, but the bush vibe is great because of the small unpaved roads. It felt very private as there were only a few operators in that area. It is a very nice addition to the day in Kruger as you're allowed in all day and night.

The wildlife and accommodation were great. the personnel was always helpful and the chefs prepared some of the best dishes I had during my entire stay in SA. Guides really made a difference during the game drives and bush walk as they have a much better clue where to look for animals and other signs of wildlife. The reserve itself was very dry because of the lack of rain. This made spotting animals a lot easier, but it would have been nice if it had already rained so the landscape looks prettier. In general, they definitely surpassed my expectations and I can recommend them for a guided tour to Kruger.

An amazing Masai Wonders with Safari Line Defenders
5/5

I am a Travel Consultant from India by profession and an avid Amateur Wild Life Photographer. I was long looking for a good Service Provider for a business relationship to promote tourism in Kenya and had been in line with plenty of operators. Finally came across Safari Line Defenders and though before starting a business relationship, I should personally have an understanding of the quality of service. Thus, booked a 6N 7D Trip covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, Hell's Gate & Amboselli trip with them. I would if not 100% would surely rate them 99% for their prompt service delivery and quality. I would recommend all to try them out for your Wild Life trip to Kenya for sure.

Great experience and deal!
5/5

All the trip happened as planned. The owner was very nice and the drivers and guide were great and able to spot animals from far away. I went to Mikumi NP with them and Camp Bastian was an excellent place where to stay (situated out of the NP). The deal offered by Hello Tanzania was better than the one proposed by many other operators and was worth it.

Samburu, Lake Nkuru, Masai Mara, Elsamere and Amboseli by van

This was an outstanding tour, both my wife and I feel this was the best vacation since we have been married (10 years). Kennedy was our driver/guide and did a fantastic job of finding wildlife. Boy did we see wildlife. We saw the big 5 in three days!. We were amazed at how close we could get to Lion, elephant, cheetahs and the elusive leopards. I had a 55-300mm telephoto lens but other that for animal head shots, didn't need it.

We are 68 and 67 and were a little worried the trip might too rigorous but no we left tired but thrilled after 10 wonderful days. We are from Seattle WA and were surprised that the lodgings were better than expected and we did four nights in the luxury tents, the Kibo safari camp and the Sekenani Camp which come complete with a full size bath, shower and toilet. At the Maasai Mara we heard lions roar one night and very close by, but the area is patrolled all night and if the lions get too close they turn the camp lights on!

The drives between destinations were long sometimes 5 hours or so but nevertheless interesting to pass through the countryside and villages.

Communication was excellent. Emails were replied the same day and telephone calls returned

All in all a big thank you Mr OT and Kennedy for a great vacation.
