Our family safari to Masai Mara with Royal Star Expeditions exceeded our expectations in every way. Winnie was always available to answer our questions and made the booking process a breeze.
One aspect that stood out during our trip was the seamless coordination. Royal Star Expeditions took care of booking local flights for our family from Mombasa to Nairobi and arranged road transport from Nairobi to Masai Mara. Everything was well-organized, and we were impressed by how smoothly the logistics were handled.
Our driver guide, Musyoka, was another highlight of our safari experience. He was not only professional and friendly but also had extensive knowledge about the animals and the reserve. Musyoka's expertise allowed us to learn so much about the wildlife and their habitats, making the safari even more enriching. His passion for conservation and respect for the animals was evident throughout the trip.
One of the main highlights of our safari was witnessing the breathtaking wildebeest migration at the Mara River. Musyoka skillfully navigated through the reserve, ensuring that we had the best vantage points to witness this incredible natural spectacle. The sight of thousands of wildebeests crossing the river will forever be etched in our memories.
Additionally, we were extremely satisfied with our accommodation at Sopa Lodge Mara. The lodge provided a comfortable and luxurious stay for our family. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

To discover wild animals in their country
We lived an unforgettable adventure, to see wild animals near us and to take photographs easily because the guide was heedful .
The accomodations were comfortable and to sleep in a tent and to be able to listen lions and other animals during the night, was a experience once in a lifetime.
The staff in the camps was very helpful and kind.

Amazing safari in Kenya and Tanzania
We went on a Kenya-Tanzania safari with Spirit of Kenya and had an amazing time. Filipa, our trip planner, deserves special commendation for her dedication and expertise in crafting the perfect itinerary. Her attention to detail and deep knowledge of the region ensured that every day of our safari was filled with breathtaking encounters with wildlife and awe-inspiring landscapes. Her recommendations for accommodations, game drives, and cultural experiences truly exceeded our expectations.
Throughout the trip we felt taken care of by the lodge staff and our drivers. Everything was taken care of and we could relax and enjoy the wildlife and this once in a lifetime experience. Our driver in Tanzania, Deo, was very knowledgeable and connected well with my teenage son. Great trip overall.

Outstanding!
Our recent trip to Kenya was just fantastic! Our tour coordinator Carolyn and guide throughout our trip, Wilson Siele, were a delight to work with and be with. The accommodations were outstanding, having stayed at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Eco lodges and Soroi Lions Bluff. A DREAM SAFARI COME TRUE
I have always wanted to see the Big Five in their natural habitat, and thanks to David our guide I finally got the chance to do so. I booked a 10-day safari with them, which included four nights in Masai mara National reserve, three nights in Samburu Game Reserve, and two nights in Nakuru. It was the perfect combination of adventure, luxury, and culture.
The safari experience was amazing from start to finish. Tropical Wild Expeditions took care of everything, from the transfers, the flights, the accommodation, and the activities. They were very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole process. They also matched me with the best guides and drivers, who were very knowledgeable, passionate, and fun.
The highlight of the safari was, of course, the wildlife. I saw the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) multiple times, as well as many other animals, such as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, hippo, crocodile, hyena, jackal, and more. The sightings were incredible, especially in Masai mara where the animals were very relaxed and close to the vehicles. I also enjoyed the variety of activities, such as game drives, bush walks, and sundowners.
I highly recommend Tropical Wild Expeditions and choose David to be your guide.

Another positive point was our guide, Elias, who had experience and knowledge of the region and the species present in it, enabling our encounter with the “big five” and several other species! It is also worth highlighting the excellent meal prepared by chef Mussa, which is one of the company's differences in providing a delicious meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner (several other companies only offered snacks at lunch). Finally, I would like to thank Daniel Enrique for his concern in receiving feedback from the tour and being super attentive on our return. I will recommend the company to anyone who wants to go on safari in Tanzania.
Our driver, Mr. T, was responsible for an excellent reception at Kilimanjaro airport, safe driving to the Jevas hotel, clarified all our doubts about the tour and finally drove us back to the airport so we could catch our flight with peace of mind!
