Good
4/5

Well organized tour. Accommodating to our schedule and our time delay.
The tents could have been cleaned at least once a day. The breakfast required a bit more variety to accommodate for allergies and dietary restrictions. A good tour but some room for improvement

Great Maasai Mara Excursion
5/5

I worked with Pamela from Magical retreats on planning the a 3-days trip to Maasai Mara and she did a perfect job of it. I had some friends who had never been to Keny before and Pamela recommended the right places to spend the night for them etc... the drivers were amazing (Mr Nyamu & Mr Njenga). Maasai Mara was a magical experience and can't wait to do it again. Thank you Pamela.

UNFORGETTABLE BUCKET LIST EXPERIENCE
5/5

This is a bucket list trip you NEED to take. It is hard to explain how memorable and amazing our two week trip to Tanzania was with Wild Mind Travel. Before taking the trip, I had heard how unforgettable African Safari's could be, but this trip surpassed all my expectations. It truly was an adventure of a lifetime.

We began our trip by taking a five day safari through three national parks and ended it splitting time between historical Stone Town and the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. I highly recommend doing the combo safari/beach package... SO worth every penny.

The five day safari was literally the most unreal experience of my life. I knew we were going to see many animals, but I never could've imagined how many animals we actually saw. Literally at every turn we saw another animal, it was unbelievable. We even saw countless baby animals too... just adorable! Our guide, Amos, was extremely knowledgable and brought so much positivity and energy every day to the safari. You could just tell he loved his job as he was so passionate about the animals, had a wealth of knowledge and he genuinely wanted to make the experience unforgettable for us. He truly made the safari next level, he was amazing. Our stay every night was always taken care of for us ahead of time and was just as unforgettable as our day. We literally slept inside the Serengeti and next to the Ngorongoro Crater with zebras and elephants casually passing by our tents. Waking up to the sunrise in the middle of one of the most beautiful, untouched places in the world was truly magical. Nothing will ever compare to these moments in my life.

Even though I never wanted to leave the National Parks and all the animals, it was the best feeling to know we were going to spend the next week in Stone Town and on the beaches of Zanzibar. I loved spending time in Stone Town. It was an extremely beautiful town, with so much history and the local food was delicious. It was a perfect contrast to our last five days we spent on the gorgeous beach in Zanzibar. Kendra Rocks Beach Resort was the best place to wind down, enjoy the beauty of the beach and eat amazing food (oh & of course, have a few tasty beverages).

This trip was truly an experience of a lifetime and one I will remember forever. Wild Mind Travel was so amazing to deal with, the trip was perfect and Justin made sure we were always taken care of. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Book with Wild Mind Travel, you won't be disappointed.

New standard of excellence for safari's
5/5

There were many tour company's to chose from but after reviewing many we chose Gorilla Links Tours . We are glad we did.
We asked Carolyn the owner/ operator of Gorilla Link Tours to design a safari like no other.
We decided on Murchison Falls National Park.
She took up the challenge and besides the normal morning and afternoon safari's that are expected, she provided two night safari's where a park ranger joined our guide as we ventured out in the evening. As night approached we saw lions leaving there cubs as they set out to hunt. We saw a female lion who just lost a cub to a Cape Buffalo and was mourning, eventually picking up the cub and carrying it to be buried. We saw a mother with 3 cubs feeding, as she laid on the ground. Even our guide had never seen this before.
I'm not saying you will see what we saw, but you will for sure see things over and above the norm. Carolyn arranged for a small "private"boat to tour the Nile river so we avoided the crowds of the big boats and got in close to shore to maximize our viewing experience. And surprisingly all the extra were reasonably priced. Carolyn did so many others things for us at no cost.
A wonderful personality to deal with. You won't regret using Gorilla Link Tours. Ask her to get Richard for your guide. He is outstanding and will bring your safari to a new level. Ask for him!!! You again won't regret it. He makes the unexpected happen. Great guy.
We also heard huge positives on the Gurilla tours from others we met that used Gorilla Links Tours. Again, I'd ask her to get Richard. His name is now out there so book him early. Seems everyone we spoke to had outstanding experiences and satisfaction with Gorilla Links as we did.

Meticulous planning and execution for outstanding accommodations, food, guides, drivers, wildlife.
5/5

Communications stateside and throughout trip were excellent., Prompt, knowledgeable, congenial and helpful guides and drivers added great value to understanding not only of wildlife and local sites, but of history, economics, conservation etc. These two 80 year-olds could have used a a "down" day after the first week. In short, everything exceeded expectations.

Best local safari company with best services
5/5

Exzellent organization throughout the whole safari of 7 days. Our Tanzanian experience was enhanced by Gabriel as our guide who knows the best places to go to see the wonderful animals. We had very nice time during walking & hunting safari at Lake Eyasi with Hadzabe local tribe (Bushmen). Gabriel asked the elder person of the tribe to take some photos. He stopped and allowed us time to take as many photos as we wanted to. The Land Cruiser was an good vehicle for our safari . The accommodation was very good at the lodges and the food was very delicious too. Our second trip after safari to Zanzibar was also fantastic we stayed in a very good hotel. Great staff and service . Overall a great experience to travel and see most beautiful historical places at Zanzibar. There is no need to worry at all about the organization that has been done for Taste of Afrika Safaris. They're informative and know all best National Parks and the best time to visit in Northern circuit for wild beets or Great Migration. Thank you Seka and Herieth for organizing wonderful trip for us, say hello to Gabriel. Greeting's from Germany. Ahsante Vanessa.

we wanted a great safari-experience without spending a fortune and this was the perfect alternative. Our guide, Baltazary John, was very competent and talkative and we truley recommend him and Sunny sAFARIS. We had a 2 Days Safari in Tarangire and the Ngorongoro crater and we are very pleased. The lodge was nice and food was great.
