Good safari but unfriendly guide
Safari Right now had good communication before my trip, we had emailed each other a few times to work out an itinerary. They had been personally recommended by a friend living in Tanzania and felt very trustworthy from the start, important as I was travelling as a lone female. The safari itself was amazing and thoroughly recommended, I saw so many incredible animals very close up. I chose a 1:1 personal safari to Manyara
and Ngorongoro crater and the price was competitive.
There were a few criticisms though:
1) The day before the safari I was supposed to have a briefing with the guide, but that didn't happen. This meant I didn't really know what to pack and didn't have a chance to discuss any dietary preferences for the lunchbox/dinner.
2) There was also a last minute swap of guide, that I didn't know about until the new guide (Chale) turned up to collect me. Unfortunately Chale was quite unfriendly and made me feel a bit awkward during the drive and dinner, although he did have a good knowledge of the animals.
3) I recommend double checking exactly what is provided. I had decided to camp and the tent/bedding was supposed to be provided but there were no sheets, pillows or sleeping bag. Take a torch, the campsite is very dark at night and inside the tent!
4) The itinerary said there would be a full day’s game drive on the second day, but the driver actually left at about 1.30 shortly after lunch to visit tourist shops, which was disappointing.
Amazing Adventure tour

Outstanding from beginning to end
I traveled alone (solo female) on a 14 day self-drive through Namibia and Botswana. With ample help from Cardboard Box, it was the trip of a lifetime. Everything was organized perfectly and accommodations were superb. I kept Norelle on her toes with plenty of questions and changes, but she was always prompt and organized. Highly, highly recommend.

Lifetime Experience Of Masaimara Safari
Kudos to Ms Pamela for organising and arranging Masaimara safari for me & my wife in September 2016 for 3 days and 2 nights. Our guide and driver was Musaga who was a very amiable person and conversing with him english was pleasant. Our accommodation and food in Mara Sopa Lodge was fairly lavish. Even vegetarian guests will not face any problem. The 2 day game drives were exhaustive and very satisfying. We have seen all the animals found in Masaimara except the elusive Leopard. I thank Magical retreats & its team for making our Safari so fruitfull. I would also mention that I had sent 50% of the total value of the tour 4 months in advance of the tour but since Ms Pamela kept a constant contact on WhatsApp & email it kept on reassuring that my money was safe.

A bush experience second to none!
We (a party of 8 comprising two families with children) have recently returned from South Africa having enjoyed a 10 day self-catered, self-drive holiday in Marloth Park as well as a 5-night catered and guided safari arranged by Shaun from Moriti.
Having never been on a ‘proper’ safari before, we were stunned by the attendance of the team that catered for us, the beauty of the bush and the incredible knowledge of our guide, Troy. Based at Angela’s Camp / Lower River Lodge, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five within the first two game drives! Although we only had a good sighting of the resident leopard once (and a flash of his tail on another occasion), we saw the other four every day.
The best part of our twice-daily game drives was checking in with the ‘river pride’ – a resident pride of two male lions, three females and a number of cubs – to see what they were up to. We discovered that their regular routine appears to be as follows: eat buffalo until full, sleep until hungry, repeat! Other highlights include a couple of stand-offs with elephants (expertly handled by Troy), numerous rhino sightings (including some tiny calves) and watching the incredible kamikaze display of the male red-crested korhaan (Lophotis ruficrista). Troy’s knowledge of the animals, birds, insects and trees was simply outstanding and it was a pleasure to be guided by him; he always had something interesting to point out or a funny anecdote to tell.
In between game drives and the seemingly endless amount of eating, we enjoyed swimming and relaxing on the pool deck overlooking the river below – keeping a watchful eye on all the wildlife that criss-crossed the stunning vista was a real treat.
On our last day, Shaun arranged for us to visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre where we got to see cheetah up close – a fine conclusion to a wonderful time in the Klaserie reserve.
If you are looking for the experience of a lifetime, Moriti will deliver!

Action packed - Yala Safaris really went the extra mile!
The really fantastic time we had during our two weeks in Uganda were only made possible by Yala Safaris and especially Godwin!
Godwin's knowledge not just of the wildlife we were there to see but of Uganda in general meant that almost any question we could think of had an enthusiastic answer!
Yala was especially good at being adapting to our particular needs. We were particularly keen to pack in as much as possible and to see as much wildlife as we could in the time we had, and Yala was more than happy to accommodate this. Our perseverance resulted in the eventual sighting of a rare leopard and its cub in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the pinnacle of two days of classic East African wildlife sightings.
Yala really did go beyond the call of duty to ensure we saw some of the best of what Uganda has to offer. While we spent our first week in Godwin's care he gave us some great advice for our second week which we found really invaluable.
It was clear that a lot of research and networking goes into providing this experience (it appeared to me that Godwin knows nearly everyone in Uganda!!) which meant that both our accommodation at Park View Lodge overlooking QE National park and at Lake Bunyoni were absolutely stunning.
All in all a huge thank you to Godwin and his team at Yala Safaris. It comes highly recommended!

The worst safari company.
Do not travel with unison. The owner was blackmailing us in the middle of the trip. He was asking for more money althought we payed everything in advance. At the end he abandoned us in the middle of serengeti park. The driver of the car was rude. We were scared about our lifes. The newspaper Guardian had our story in the front page on 27 august 2016. The owner ended up in jail for a few days. The owner offers good prices and then he asks for more money. It better to travel with ANY other company.
