Fantastic, well organised safari
5/5

We booked a 3 night safari with Dennis in the Maasai Mara at the end of the August. It was the most incredible trip. It was so well organised - Dennis was always very helpful and easy to get hold of. He organised our accommodation at Mara Sarova Lodge and all flights and transfers were booked for us. It was a very smooth process. We had the best guide/driver who was lovely, kind and very knowledgeable and knew where to find all the animals - ask for Samson - he is a legend! Although we just missed the migration, we saw all of the big 5 including two rhinos and leopards - so it's definitely a great time to go. I'd definitely recommend booking with Dennis, it was a fantastic trip - I can't wait to go back!

Our trip of a lifetime in Kruger Park - 4-day private tour
5/5

Last May, my husband and I and our two good friends had an amazing 4-day private tour in Kruger Park with Endless Summer Tours. We were picked-up in Jo'berg by Rhys and his colleague who had arranged for everything: transportation, food, accommodation, night and morning drives - everything. They were such great cooks! We stayed in great bungalows and saw more wildlife than we had ever hoped for. Within 30 minutes of arriving in the park, we had already seen a leopard in a tree! We also saw an amazing kill by two lionesses which Rhys predicted perfectly before it even happened. He really knows so much about animal behaviour and we learned tons during the drives. We ended-up seeing over 25 lions (with lots of cubs) in total during the trip - and of course all the big five... I only missed seeing a cheetah so I guess it's an excuse to go back. :)

Wilderness Legends provides a outstanding experience and motivates you with their inspiring mission.
5/5

For 40 years, I've guided wilderness expeditions all over the world. Occasionally I get the chance to enjoy just being a team member rather than a team leader. This, my first African experience, was one such opportunity. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, care & conviviality that our guides --Donatus, Loserian & Gido-- consistently provided throughout our 12-day adventure. In the tour business, it's understandable that guides sometimes become jaded, dealing with same litany of questions & concerns on every trip. But there was no hint of that on this superb safari. The Wilderness Legends crew fully shared our enthusiasm with every experience offered on this nicely varied itinerary. They patiently answered every question thoroughly (in excellent English) and responded with genuine interest to all of our insights & observations. We enjoyed an intriguing and enriching mix of cultural connections and wildlife encounters. The 4 reserves & 4 tribes we visited were distinctly varied and each was uniquely fascinating. The meals were ample, tasty & nutritious. The lodging varied from simple but comfortable tent camps to manicured resorts. All in all, a first-class, 5-star adventure! But it was also a very compelling experience given the concern and commitment Donatus & crew reflected about the destiny of Tanzania's cultural and wildlands heritage. In a nation buffeted by winds of change, they are clearly determined to be agents of sustainable progress rather than victims of destructive development. We witnessed and were inspired by their involvement with numerous conservation and community causes. The pride they shared about the different tribal heritages with which each of them are associated was infectious. One can only hope that their sentiments and sense of mission are shared by Tanzania's burgeoning class of young entrepreneurs. If so, the nation's destiny is in good hands. I highly recommend a Wilderness Legends Africa experience -- engaging, edifying & inspiring.

Spectacularly Customized Honeymoon Experience with Discover Africa
5/5

Discover Africa was the only tour operator I reached out to who wanted to have a Skype conversation to get to know more and my husband & my tastes and preferences. Megan Warrington was wonderful to work with - she crafted our activities and accommodations to our requests and everything went very smoothly while we were on the trip. She was very prompt at answering many of our questions leading up to the trip, and she made a few changes we wanted very easily.

The Best
5/5

Yellow Zebra is a first class agent for African safaris. We engaged YZ more than a year in advance of our safari trip to Tanzania. I found them via a Google search and then selected them after reading many reviews and speaking with an agent. As an agency, they performed superbly throughout the planning process and then in the plan/itinerary they developed. After asking a few questions, our advisor, Kirsten Woolley, developed two options to meet our budget requirements. We selected one. For over a year, she was patient answering questions and waiting for us to respond to her inquiries, candid in the opinions and information she shared and extremely helpful in all matters of planning our trip. Her follow-ups were great and quite informative. We couldn't have asked for a better agent, itinerary, and arrangements during the trip. They gave us the exact itinerary we hoped for! They provided a top notch firm, Nomad Tanzania, as the tour guide. A month before our trip, an incident occurred involving the TZ government imposing a new VAT on tours. After several discussions with the agency owner, we were able to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. They listened, were very approachable and friendly, and took care of our needs all the way through. I would highly, highly recommend this agency for your next safari.

Outstanding service from Sweet Africa Safaris
5/5

We used Johnson as our driver in Nairobi and Nukuru and Peter for our driver in Maasai Mara. Both were excellent. They are punctual, polite, extremely well informed about Kenya wildlife, good drivers, and a lot of fun to be with. They are extremely attentive to all members of the group without being overbearing or intrusive. Johnson made all of our arrangements in advance and we had no problems. If we had concerns, he effectively intervened on our behalf. He is the most professional person I have worked with in Kenya. I will rely on him even more when planning my next trip.

Blown away by an unforgettable, exhilarating, and truly authentic African experience!
5/5

I am a proud South African, born and raised. From a young age i have been intrigued with Africa, traveling, and exploring. Throughout the years I have been privileged to have many of my dreams become a reality as I traveled to every continent in the world, including Antarctica! I thought I had seen and experienced just about as much as boy from a small town can experience...until my wife and I went on the 13 day tour of Botswana and Zimbabwe with Explendor Tours!!! We were blown away by the rich experience! I thought I knew a lot about Africa and the wildlife it has to offer, until this trip! It was packed with beautiful scenes, breathtaking sightings of wild animals, and insightful commentary from our tour guide Stephen! The whole tour was relaxing, but at the same time packed with activities like game drives, river cruises, hikes with real Bushmen and so much more!
I am already planning to do another tour with Explendor Tours, but this time with my whole family!!
It is an experience I rate very high, if not the highest, on my travels so far!
Thank you Stephen, and the Explendor Tour staff for opening a whole new view of the beautiful Africa we love so dearly!
Forever grateful.

The best of the best! Deal directly with the experts of Tanzania in Tanzania”
5/5

**Your time is valuable so I will skip the creative writing skills and just get to the point. I always appreciate your vote if you find my review helpful.**

1) My wife and I took a 2-week private "comfort level" safari including Maasai Lodge, Hadzabe tribe, Datoga tribe, Chagga tribe, Arusha National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Mara River crossing, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Mto wa Mbu village tour

2) I interviewed the top 10 safari companies for Tanzania and Easy Travel is #1 for a reason (or many): timely responses, very informative, very personal, great pricing and value, expert friendly guides, top notch vehicles . Every person at Easy Travel is first class. You will not be disappointed. DO NOT pay a middleman in your country. Deal directly with the experts in Tanzania. It is not a small, fly by night operation. They are the experts that live there.

3) All of the accommodations were very good with Acacia Farm Lodge the hands down 5 star winner and the Stella Maris in the fair-good range (but it is a charity for the kids so still a feel-good choice)

4) As a wildlife biologist major in college, I feel I am very good at finding animals but Richard is nothing short of amazing. He can see a dark spot of an ear in the tan grass at 50 yards...while he is dodging potholes on a dirt road. Richard became nothing short of a family member after 2 weeks and we really missed his company when we returned home. He comes highly recommended.

5) You will see more animals than you can count - both in species and in numbers.

6) If you are worried about traveling to Tanzania due to safety reasons, I felt safer there than in any big city (anywhere). You will always be in the good hands of your guide.

7) You have heard it before, the roads are very, very rough. Just expect it. There are a couple of paved roads but 90% of your travel will be on rough roads. Just FYI

8) Highlights were Maasai Lodge, Hadzabe tribe, Tarangire, Mara River crossing.

9) Can skip are Olduvai Gorge, Mto wa Mbu, Chagga tribe

9) For several years we were not sure if we wanted to go to Africa and if we would feel safe. Now we wondered what took us so long. A highly recommended destination, tour company, and Richard as a guide. A trip of a lifetime with no regrets.
