Very personal and caring approach
We experienced very personal approach. The owner Iddy was very nice and welcoming. Since we are more regular tourists than experience climbers, a day before the tour, our guide Gadiel evaluated our clothing and equipment and suggested what we have to rent additionally for better experience. Gadiel and his team (in total 4 persons just for two of us!) was very helpful. One of us is vegetarian and on a gluten free diet, so the the food was prepared in a way that both of us had nice things to eat and the food very tasty as well! They even baked special gluten free bread for us on the camp kitchen! It was wonderful!
The also took care for us, so that we were well guided till the peak of Meru and back. I think that the experience of our guide Gadiel helped us to reach the peak. The approach to do in a poko poko (slowly or little by little) way was the key for the success. And we were very happy about that. This is definitely value for money tour operator.
We were also very lucky - the weather conditions were perfect for climbing, so we got a wonderful views and memories.

Amazing
They were amazing! Frederick, our guide, took great care of us, making sure we see as many animals as possible. He told us a lot of interesting facts about the wildlife. They fed us tremendous amounts of delicious food. We did not have any expectations about that, however, some of the dishes I tasted on this trip were the best I have ever tried, thank to our cook James. 10 out of 10 recommend this experience.

Amazing 7 day safari in Kenya
We chose apodiformes adventures for our safari honeymoon as they were an affordable and local Kenyan safari company, we were not disappointed!
The communication from Silas was great from day 1, he answered all of our questions before and after booking very promptly. We were picked up from the airport by John our driver and Silas was also there to greet us. John was very friendly, knowledgeable and a great guide to spend the week with.
We did a 7 day trip travelling to Maasai Mara, lake naivasha, lake Nakuru and amboseli. John was with us throughout and was very relaxed so we could change plans and start/stop when we wanted to. He also got us back to the airport on the last day with lots of time to spare.
John made us feel safe and did an outstanding job at looking after us, he made sure we saw and did everything we wanted to.
We would highly recommend apodiformes adventures for your safaris and hope to go on another one day!

Wonderful 2 weeks safari around Kenya’s national reserves
I can only recommend at 100% to travel with Africa Starpal, our 2 weeks trip was really well handled from A to Z.
First of all, the trip preparation was very easy with Paul. He managed to respect all our requests according to the itinerary we wished to have, while staying in our tight budget. Hence, we’ve been able to tour the main reserves of Kenya in our 2 weeks travel (Tsavo West, Amboseli, Samburu and Masaï Mara) as well as some smallest reserves on the way (Lake Navaisha, Hell’s Gate, Ol’ Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru). We had a lot of emails exchange while preparing everything, and Paul was always replying very quickly at our requests, that’s why there was no hesitation and we signed with Starpal.
Then, once we got in Nairobi, we met Morris, our guide, who really took great care of us during the following 2 weeks of private safari. He made us discover a great number of species, that was really awesome. Therefore we easily enjoyed our vacations knowing that Morris was taking care of the entire program. He is an amazing driver despite the fact that we chose to take a 4x4 minivan, as a jeep was outside of our budget (but to be honest, it was really enough for most of our trip, it would only have been better in Masaï Mara to have a jeep I think as the roads are really bad there). The agreed program was respected during the entire trip, we had no issue of any kind, and no bad surprise.
About the accommodations, we fully trusted Starpal and just asked for mid-range budget accommodations. All their choices was great, sometimes inside the reserve and sometimes outside, so it would match our budget, but always very nice and different. Same for the food, the meals at the lodges were always good. We were a bit worried before our trip because one of us is a vegetarian, but it was never an issue, we’ve eaten very good Kenyan and international dishes, there was always a veggie choice on the menu. Special mention for Mwanzo lodge and Lion Cave’s Camp that we truly loved.

Thanks to our very experienced, knowledgeable and nice guide Daniel, we had the best time on our safari. He always cared for our safety and is a very safe driver. Furthermore, he had a strong interest in providing a great experience and amazing photo opportunities. We recommend a safari of at least 6 days to experience all the different national parks with different landscapes and animal species. We particularly liked ndutu and the ngorongoro crater. The lodges we stayed in were excellent and so was the food.

Experience drive and know a lot about the animals living in the savanna
Safari was amazing, we took a lot of photos, we saw lions, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, buffalo's, Thompson gazelles, a lot of birds and much much more. Makundi is a very good driver and knows a lot about the animals living in the savanna. Don't think, just do it, you will love it!!

Happiness George put all our worries to rest. After making contact she was able to provide an itinerary that met all our wishes from diverse lodging to any food requirement to selection of our guide and driver. All airport transfers went seamlessly. Communication with her and others of the team at Safari Soles was consistent, timely and informative.
Our check baggage did not make the flight to Kilimanjaro with us. The Safari Soles team made sure that when it arrived in Kilimanjaro airport the following night that it was driven over two hours to our location the following morning to meet us at our lodge before our scheduled departure time. What a life saver.
I would like to give a big thank you to Innocent our guide and driver. Without him, our experience would not have been as extraordinary as it turned out to be. He was able to locate and anticipate all the animal movements to position us in a way as to get close with the best angles for viewing and pictures. He worked tirelessly making sure we got everything we wanted out of every day’s safari drives and reviewed our next day’s itinerary with us the night before so we knew what to expect and make adjustments to our itinerary to view as much wildlife as possible. I cannot say enough good things about him. He always had our best interests at heart and was very informative in a wide range of topics related to Tanzania and its animals, culture and people.
The Safari Soles team took our family trip from just a one to remember to a trip of a lifetime. Priceless!
