A wonderful experience
5/5

We had a good time traveling with Yala Safaris. They have good drivers who are so kind and willing to make you reach your destination safely. They do provide the best service that any traveler would look for.

Incredible
5/5

The driver Mr. Godwin was like family to me. He was so friendly and I liked his enthusiasm.
With his way of conduct, he loved his job and acted so professional in his first class vehicle. I couldn't ask for another company other than Yala Safari for my trip to Kampala. I really wanna do this again.
One more thing I shouldn't forget. Thanks for being so punctual!!
Please keep this up.

Traveling Complete
4/5

The traveling company did a great job of meeting out many request. We were able to take a five day tour in Kenya beginning with a two day tour of Nairobi. We spent time traveling the historical and cultural spaces around the city including the Ministry Heritage building, Giraffe park, Crocodile and Ostrich Park, City market area and American Embassy Memorial park. Then we traveled a grueling sick hours to Marsai Mara Game Reserve and stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Great place though it was journey to get there. Place is really off the beaten path. Roads turned to dirt roads then turned to driving through woods. I am happy our driver/guide knew where we were going. We got there safely and back without any problems. At the Lodge we were treated to breakfast Lunch and Diner included in our stay package. Food and services were great. Daily we went into the Game Reserve to search for animals and we found them all. Cheetahs and Lions, Warthogs, Hyena, Giraffes, Elephants and others were all in arms length view at times. It was amazing. Leaving the lodge we opted to change our plans instead of an early morning safari we took an early trip away from the lodge to get back to the city in search of souvenirs. The drivers were accommodating we enjoyed the afternoon at the market.

An amazing migration safari
5/5

Joao n staff were prompt and detailed in answering out queries . They organised an amazing migration safari for us! Everthing went smoothly and safely.

Our drivers cum guides - Estomi and Emmanuel were very pleasant and patient as well as entertaining and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed their company! Through them, we learnt much about the animals and their habits, and the vegetation and about the culture of Tanzania.
With their efforts, we were able to see all the big FIVE animals including the rare rhino and cheetah. We were very pleased to able to see two crossings and a lion hunt as well. In addition, we saw many many types of animals, birds and herbivores. We learnt a little Swahili too. We particularly appreciate the efforts by Estomi and Emmanuel who looked after us and took care of our tyre puncture quickly and efficiently. Thank you Estomi and Emmanuel again for taking good care of us!

We would have liked to have had a map showing where we had travelled to and some points of interest at each stop/ landmarks so that it will help us to remember our trip better. The binoculars that you supplied were very good, but the internet mobile stick was not very strong and we had difficulty connecting .

The physical accomodation that we stayed in was generally good and the staff and the various locations were very friendly and provided good service. They all tried their best. However, we found the internet accessibility or rather the lack of it in the camps quite difficult . Food at the more expensive lodges was a big disappointment. We from Asia, found that the lack of rice or pasta at the lodge was not easy and the food was not as well cooked as compared to the tented camps.

Anyway, all in all, we had a good time.

Once in a lifetime experience
5/5

It was great to be welcomed by friendly people from Heri Africa. I really felt at ease when I was with everyone during my time in Tanzania. What I liked the most was their way of showing people like me what is best in their country. The experience was local and unique. It was a well-spent 10 day trip in Tanzania. Highly recommended!

Best Safari Ever!!
5/5

We had been thinking about a safari for several years. This year we decided it would be a great way to celebrate our anniversary. We researched several companies and settled on Expedition Kenya Safari. I am so glad we did! From the initial inquiries through the completion of our trip, Patrick, affectionately known as “Free Range”, was professional, responsive and thorough paying attention to the smallest of details. He made sure each lodge we stayed in had some recognition of our anniversary. He even arranged for an anniversary cake to be presented to us on our last evening. This made the trip all the more special. Our driver Joseph, also known as “Eagle-Eye”, was very knowledgeable about all types of plants, birds and animals. He made it his personal mission to make sure we saw as many different species as possible. And he knew just where to look. We actually saw all of the “Big Five” in the first two days! If he ever got tired of hearing “Stop, please” whenever we wanted to get the perfect shot, Eagle-Eye never showed it. Joseph was able to identify everything we spotted. Impressive! If you plan on taking a safari, don’t hesitate to book with Patrick at Expedition Kenya Safari. You can’t go wrong and you won’t be sorry. Thanks Patrick and Joseph for the experience of a lifetime!

Kenya's Jewel of Masai Mara
Overall rating
5/5

A very scenic park with enormous wildlife populations worth viewing. The Wildebeest migration is indeed a magical thing to see. I was amazed at the wildlife numbers and the Mara River crossing the highlight. Overall, a must see before one's death. I was glad we had a good safari company arranging the tour for us, worth the mention - African Sermon Safaris.

Elephants!
5/5

We'd done a big trip to Tanzania with you 5 years ago. This one to new corners of Ruaha and Selous was just as good!

Your recommendation on the order of the camps was spot on. Trips to Tanzania (especially if you include Beho Beho) are not cheap, but well worth it. The logistics worked well, with Kearsley and Coastal doing there bit. We've rarely been back to the same camp twice but we did it with Mwagusi - and it remains our favourite of the 3 we visited this time. , We are greateful for this experience !

Worth getting up early!
5/5

Thoroughly enjoyed our Safari with Sebu. Well worth getting up early to see these amazing animals in their natural habitat. Our pictures are superb but the memory of this adventure far surpasses any picture you can take. Lunch at the lodge was a nice add!
