Amazing Tanzanian Safari
My family and I went on a safari with Charles (the owner of Tanganyika Ancient Routes) at the end of February to the southern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. We did not know what to expect but we were blown away. Charles was very welcoming when he got us from the airport, and even made two trips as our family landed at different times. Every accommodation was above and beyond. The lodges and campsites we stayed at were beautiful. We were surrounded by wildlife the entire time and it was breathtaking. The food was great, and we had packed lunches during the days that we would stay in the parks. Charles was very flexible and willing to change our plans for the day based on what we felt like doing. If we could, we would do this trip over and over! I highly recommend traveling with Charles and his company.

The experience was just perfect. Wonderfull Experience...
The experience was just perfect. All the hotels that were listed and recommended by Its starts in Africa were good and especially Mahali Mzuri. We have appreciated a lot the interaction that we had with (i) the team of Its starts in africa but also with the guide, the staff of the hotel and the local people.
Thank you again for all the arrangements and looking forward to talk for a new adventure
Best regards

Gorilla trekking and lions
working with Buffalo was a great experience. The communication was very good leading up to the trip as far as planning with Tim, he was helpful in explaining the accommodations and overall trip. The tour was amazing and our guide was probably the best available. We had an amazing time and would book with Buffalo again.

Congo experience and getting there
Amazing experience in Congo, The Vulcanic crater was surreal, especially in the night, the vulcanic activity lightning up the skies as a huge lightbulb. We had to travel in a big group though, so its something you have to like. And, if youre healthy and if your condition is ok, you can carry your own bag by yourself so dont let yourself being fooled into something different.
Also it was super sweet to see the mountain Gorillas. I liked the way the rangers approached them, taking care that we didnt contaminate them and letting us witness them from real close and at the same time making sure both and our security were provided by making sure interaction between the human and gorillas was minimal, taking care of the future of Gorillas and tourism, hopefully protecting a safe future for the animals.
I didnt like how little information discovery safari offered though about the situation in Congo, prices, how things are organised, where to sleep etcetera.
Fortunately half by accident I met Barack Nari who works for this company, who made it all easy, he gave me explanation and took care of all the shitty parts, as transport to the national parks, information about cheap places, arranging visa in one day. Very trustworthy nice guy. So Id definetely recomend Barack Nari in this.

Back to nature peace and tranquility with no WIFi or mobile phone just pure adventure.
Ewan and Sallie Masson are the most wonderful hosts and every trip over the last twenty years we have had wonderful adventures. In a comfortable little tent and delicious food cooked by the boys.
Getting back to nature you never know what you are going to see! This last trip we visited the Khama Rhino Sanctuary and saw some magnificent white Rhino and magnificent Elands. The Kalahari Desert was green the grass was so long the herds of Orx and Springboks were marvellous and great sightings of Cheta, lion and Leopard. Nxai was as good as ever so many elephants, giraffes and Zebra.
It was so good to be back in Botswana we didn't want to come home.

Great organizer/transport for Goma safari Nyiragongo/gorillas
Barack is very helpful for executing a safari trip in the Goma area. I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp from Kigali, RW, planning out dates, details, and costs. He personally picked me up from the border, helped me through customs, and took me to the hotel. Transport was in a sturdy 4x4, had no problems. He also knows the officials at the Virunga park office which helps.
Although it would have been helpful if the driver spoke better English (to/from park), he was able to direct me to a music shop where I could find Congolese tunes :)
We Had an Amazing Trip
We went to Kruger to see the Big Five and we saw them all and then some. The guides were professional and knowledgeable and all the staff at the lodges were super nice.
Andre was on top of everything from the booking all the way thru to follow up and see how our expereince was. A true professional who really cares:))
Excellent customer service

Best Safari
What a safari! I've been on other ones before in Kenya, but this was my first in Uganda and we were advised to go to Murchison Falls National Park. Being on a strict budget our group was recommended Buffalo Safari Camps by friends. We met with the owner Tim in Jinja, and he was able to build us an individual safari. Without him we wouldn't have known where to start or where to visit, and he was really helpful in giving us friendly general advice about Uganda and the wildlife.
It was all simply organised for us, and at a good price, and our group spent 3 glorious days in the park where we saw lions, baby elephants and Giraffes. Accommodation was in the tents Buffalo Safari camps provided, which were clean and comfortable, and the locations were stunning, right on the river Nile. Our driver Emma and cook David, deserve special mention. They were such nice guys, easy to chat to, helpful, polite and very good at feeding us!
I would really recommend the Ziwa Safari park, where the Rhino's can be seen on the way into Murchison National Park. And although I was reluctant to do it initially, the boat ride to Murchison Waterfalls really made the trip, sipping beers as the sun go's down on the Nile was magical.
Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks alot, would love to come back soon!
