Amazing Kilimanjaro Trek and Safari experience 2017
I had recently the most amazing first trip to Tanzania.
Thanks to Tanzania Explorer and their fantastic mountain guides and crew, our group of 13 friends managed to reach the roof of Africa, Uhuru Peak, on the 12.02.17. The successful trek on Kilimanjaro consisted of 7 days on the beautiful and lush Lemosho route, (they also timed the summit for us to have a full moon on the summit night) followed by 7day safari adventure.
We had 1 night in Mkomazi National Park. Since this was my first safari experience, I was overwhelmed to see all wild life in general, but the highlight of this trip was to see elephant’s and cheetahs on my first day.
Next stop was Amani Nature Reserve, known for their endemic species of reptiles and amphibians. We had a chameleon night walk, and our excellent guide showed us the chameleons that are hard to spot during the day, but at night, glowed white in the torchlight and other amphibians.
Final destination was Saadani National Park and 2 nights at Saadani Safari River Lodge. Here we had a great and relaxing stay with top of the notch service and accommodation with perfect scenery next the famous Wami River. Eating breakfast and watch hippos on the other side of the river whilst an elephant was walking past, was just the perfect start in the morning.
Thanks to Tanzania Explorer, their superb guides & management who prepared us and planned the entire trip from A-Z. You managed to exceed my expectations and I had the trip of a lifetime, thank you for this amazing adventure in Tanzania.
Asante sana
I will be back ;)

Trip of a lifetime to the summit of Kilimanjaro
Peter and his team we extremely easy to deal with from our initial inquiry about a Kilimanjaro trek and remained patient and professional throughout, despite our apprehension and nerves ahead of such a taunting trek.
We were given plenty of relevant information ahead of the trip and things such as the packing list proved to be accurate. Peter was also very helpful when we had additional questions.
The hotel accommodation (Mount Meru Hotel, Arusha) before and after the trek was first rate whilst being very friendly and relaxed.
Our guides were very knowledgeable, attentive and keen to ensure that our trek was a safe success.
The porters were nothing short of superhuman. Please make sure you tip them (and the rest of the crew) generously as they do an incredible job in often tough conditions.
I would highly recommend the 7 day version of the Kilimanjaro trek.
A big thanks to Peter and his team.

barack is the best guide!
We were a group of 3 backpackers that came to a combined safari tour of niragongo volcano and gorilla tracking. Barack took very good care of us and we felt safe in his hands. He is a nice person and a pro in what he does so you're covered. He met our needs and knew to be flexible also, I've been to over 10 safries in Africa and Barack was by far my best guide and friend! You should definitely do your tour through Barack!

One in a lifetime experience
Everything was incredibly easy, they handled everything for us, food, transport, accommodation literally everything. Our driver was very nice, very good English and knew so much about the country and everything we went to see. Could not have been a better trip

The Northern Circuit
It was a tailor made safari in the northern circuit. The tour was normaly with Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater area but I have given the accomodation, these were booked by touroperator.
Our driverguide was german speeking, that was very good for us. It was an 8 days/7nights tour with one night before start the safari and one night after. I had fetched 15 offers by touroperators in Tanzania and Outland Tours and Safaris was the best of all. I would like to thank very much for the many great experiences and the Big Five.

Friendly and experienced service
Range Land Safaris Uganda provided an excellent service from before my arrival in the country, all the way through to my departure. Communication was swift and helpful; the vehicle was clean and comfortable; and the driver was hugely knowledgeable about the country and its wildlife. I would highly recommend Range Land Safaris if you want to discover this amazing country.

3 days of superb closeup interaction with wildfire and scenery.
The experience at Shamwari was the highlight of an already brilliant trip to South Africa. Everything about it was was just great. Of course what made it special were the game drives with out experienced and knowledgeable ranger , Jonathan . Each day a bit more of the beautiful scenery and the wildlife in it unfolded fir us. We were so close to amazing animals without feeling we were disturbing them. Jonathan told us enough to increase our own knowledge and had humour which made it fun too. I really appreciated the fact that only 2 vehicles are allowed close to an animal at a time. Conservation and animal welfare is important to everyone there. The accommodation was excellent and the food too. The staff took care of everything you might wish for with a feeling that they really wanted to make your day special. The combination of being in your group eating together and being on the drive together meant you got to know others and share your experience but also you had time to yourselves. I know we paid a bit more than we could have for some other reserves but it was well worth it. I cried when we left! That doesn't happen after a usual holiday!
