A great safari that exceeded all our expectations.
I have been on safari together with my partner for 5 days. All of us are extremely satisfied with MangiEmpire Adventures but especially with our amazing safari guide! He was very friendly, attentive and well organized. Because of his great knowledge we were able to ask him lots of questions about the locals, the country, the landscape, plants and of course about all the beautiful animals we have seen. I have got to know a lot of interesting things i did not know before. The lodges and campus weer also very nice. They were all different from each other and the stay in every one of them was a great experience of its own. We saw everything you could ask for and especially loved the breath taking wildlife in the Serengeti. We also were extremely lucky to see two MARA rivers crossings with hundreds and hundreds of Wild beasts Thanks to the great personality and funny humor of our guide, we were laughing a lot and had an unforgettable time in Tanzania. In conclusion I can say our safari tour was an amazing experience and definitely worth doing it. Thank you guys at MangiEmpire Adventures! We miss you.

Safari of a Lifetime
From the day we started planning to the end of our tour, Serengeti Camping Safari representative Anita communicated and looked after us in an excellent manner. She lets you participate in the planning process, with a selection of routes, lodging or camping and national parks, the staff/guide were always ready to give advice and answer our never ending questions. We’ve had a once in a lifetime experience with Serengeti Camping Safari. The food was exceedingly delicious thanks to our cook Dennis and our diver Lucas, who was experienced, friendly and communicative. The safari met our expectations and more!

Wish I would have spent a little more money for a better company
I read a lot of reviews before choosing this company (Karibu). I knew there were a lot of mixed reviews and some really bad reviews, I decided to take the gamble. I wish I would have paid a little bit more on a better company. But I guess you get what you pay for. I did the 4 day/3 nights Masai Mara + Lake Nakuru.
I was picked up from the hotel 7:30am and taken to their office (literally a few blocks away from my hotel). There we waited for a long time (1-1,5 hrs or so), I guess some other people in the group were late too. I had to pay the remaining balance at the office but when we left at 9 am and passed right by my hotel I was bummed I had been up since 6 am haha
We got an old van (sure, budget tour, didn’t think more about it..) but after getting closer to Masai Mara park and the last 1,5 hours consisted of a bumpy dirt road, I really wanted to slap myself for not choosing a company with a Jeep or better vehicle. It was miserable the last 1,5 hours, my seat was slightly loose and I was shaking back and forth... it was awful.
Once at the lodge, I guess it was okay. I mean, you get what you pay for.. I shared “tent room” with another solo guy (I’m a solo female traveler). It was fine, but the toilet and shower only has a drape... so you can hear everything.. just so you know ;)
We were unfortunate to get a bad driver/“tour guide” - James , his English was ok but he was terrible at communicating. He didn’t explain or say anything the whole trip.. we had to ask if we wanted to know anything. The afternoon when we arrived to the Masai Mara and the lodge we were staying at and we were doing a evening Safari game drive.. however, it was never communicated that we had bring our passports for the game drive to get in to the park (we left them at the lodge). So when we arrived to the entrance with no passport he was almost shocked why we didn’t bring them!? The tour was constantly like this, no communication AT ALL!!
During our full day Safari, he pretty much said nothing about any animals or facts or anything! Sometimes we had to tell him to stop so we could take pictures of the animals. I wasn’t expecting a A+ tour guide, but common.. at least maybe tell me something?
The food at the lodge was very boring, carb and very little veggies and no fruit (2 out of 3 days). The last lodge was good, had veggies and fruit and we were all so happy to eat there! Haha (still nothing fancy!)
3rd day we were told we had to switch van and join another group to continue our trip.. sure no problem. So we jumped into another companies van (not the same company I booked with). That van was a lot nicer, thank god! That driver (Richard) was also little but more informative at every stop and told us a little about the animals.
Overall, be prepared to be disappointed...at least hopefully you get a better driver/tour guide than us. I wished I spent a little bit more money and got more out of my trip. Better food, better vehicle, more information about the animals, the park etc.. or any information at all would have been nice! I would not recommend this company to other travel friends.

An amazing experience, with a great guide.
The safari was amazing! We had the time of our lives, everything ran according to plan and it surpassed our own expectations. From the parks to the accommodation. Four unbelievable days.
We did: Tarangire Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Shemeji had a very good plan for the safari and were always very professional in our communication. The places they choose for us to sleep were also exceptional. We also know that it all went so well thanks to the incredible work of our guide, Adam. Not only because he was a master at knowing where the animals were, but also because he was such a pleasure to be with. He answered all our nagging questions with patience, did a great job explaining us the characteristics of the animals, of the parks our even the country.
We recommend Shemeji to everyone who wants to do a safari.

Top Christmas Safari in Kenya with the whole family (10 pers).
If you consider to go for safari in Kenya, stop considering and just do it. Contact Right Choice and all your questions will be answered.
Our main contact was/is Mr. George Oketch who proposed our custom made trip from 21st Dec 2019 till 3rd Jan 2020. George was prompt and fast in replying.
He offered a total all in package (excl. flight from Amserdam to Nairobi) , at reasonable prices, covering both safari & beach holiday.
The holiday started on Saturday evening 21st Dec upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport and were transported by a 18 seater to the Safari Parc Hotel.
Here we stayed for 2 days (Sunday & Monday) to relax and enjoyed the beautiful hotel and the garden with swimming pools as well as their very professional dance show in the evening. On Monday we organized ourselves to go for a guided tour at the biggest slum of Nairobi called “Kibera”.
(see separate review under: “Kevin’s Slum Tours”. Really a must to do!
On Tuesday morning we were picked by the guides Ken & Patrick in their 4x4 land cruisers heading via the Great Rift valley to Lake Nakuru where
we stayed in small scaled tented lodge called Flamingo Hill luxury Camp. The rooms were very spacy, clean and well organized. That same day we started the game drive after lunch. The guides Ken & Patrick showed us all corners of the area and we able to find the right places to spot game. We were lucky seeing 4 out of the big five! The next day we left after a great breakfast towards Amboseli to stay for 2 nights in Kibu Luxury camp. This camp was much bigger but with excellent service and comfortable luxury tents. All staff were very friendly with a high grade of service. We had chosen for this parc to see the majestic Kilimanjaro which we clearly saw in the morning. Beautiful.
Again, both guides Ken & Ben did an excellent job by showing the area and to explain us all about the parc.
Our last stay was for one night in Tsavo West where we Right Choice booked for us the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Ken & Patrick again showed us the full area which was totally different from previous parcs.
Our holiday ended in Baobab Beach resort south from Monbasa at Diani Beach.
Both guides, Ken & Patrick turned out to be very knowledgeable and were able to answer all the questions. All drives went smooth, very safe and comfortable. They really provided high quality service, were flexible and we can highly recommend them as a guide during your safari holiday.
All in all we can highly recommend to choose for RIGHT CHOICE TOURS & SAFARI to organize your safari experience in Kenya.
Asante sana.

Wonderful experience in Uganda
My wife and I went on a tour of Uganda relying on Home to Africa and I must say that it was a happy choice.
During the preparation of the tour they were very quick to answer our questions and very willing to meet our requests including that of carrying out a day of rafting on the Nile.
Upon arrival their guide was waiting for us, Mr. Derrick, an exquisite person, very nice, helpful and at the same time highly professional.
The lodges that had booked for us turned out to be even higher than our expectations and, in any case, among the best in the area for the range we chose.
The whole tour took place on time and in the best way.
We have only one thing to say:
Thanks to our guide Derrick and Home to Africa for the wonderful experience that made us live.

Samuel was an excellent safari tour guide, I had a better experience with him.
That was my first trip in Africa and first time on safari but Kaara Adventures helped to make this experience incredibly memorable. We could tell that Jose cared a lot about customer service and making us all happy, from small details, even like providing water for the car journey to finding us the best accommodation for the best price. If I ever make a plan to come back again Africa and really hope I will, definitely use Kaara Adventures again for any trips, truly a fantastic experience!

From start to finish this tour group does an amazing job of scheduling and attending to every detail
We were introduced to our tour guide before arrival and was happy to see his smiling face at the airport. Erastus was very welcoming and helpful during the entire trip. I feel the mixture of game drives, shopping and down time were perfect. Most of the time was spent driving to and through the parks. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the animals as well as other local topics. A highlight of the trip was spending an afternoon with the Masai tribe. Be aware that they request a $40 donation in cash for this opportunity. We added Victoria Falls to our trip despite international news that the Falls was a trickle. This is false information. In fact, the Falls are better seen after a drought due to visibility of the bottom without the massive spray that is blinding. The Falls are magnificent. The Zimbabwe people are desperately poor and are grateful for any clothing, toiletries or shoes you might choose to leave behind. We found it useful to carry about $50 in single dollars.
Many thanks to the team at Odyssey Safari for the trip of a lifetime.
