Perfect 1 day trip to Mikumi
5/5

Gaston was at our hotel at Dar at 4am to pick us up and drive us 5 hours to Mikumi. It was a lond trip but really worth it. The animals were amazing, and Gaston was the best driver and guide for us.
I strongly reccomend Kanuth, they are totally reliable and their prices are a good value.

Safari Infinity - The absolute best!!!
5/5

My friends and I recently returned home after a fantastic two week visit to Tanzania & Zanzibar. We selected Safari Infinity as our tour operator and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. If what you are looking for in a tour operator is one who is as enthusiastic as you are during the planning stages, is super responsive to every question asked (no matter how trivial), and has the local knowledge and experience to assist you in putting together an extraordinary and memorable experience, then I would highly recommend Safari Infinity!

I worked directly with Lucia Lee-Kombe, co-owner of Safari Infinity. I can’t say enough about how responsive Lucia was to each and every one of our emails during the pre-planning phase. Honestly, I don’t think she ever sleeps! Based on what I was looking for in terms of an itinerary, we came up with a route and accommodations (combination of tent camps and lodges) that worked perfectly for us.

It is not often that you can finish a trip like this and not have a single glitch. Everything was exactly as promised by Safari Infinity. The vehicle they provided us was in great shape, clean and had a lot of room for the four of us to spread out. They even provided us with a cell phone with numbers programmed so that we contact them at any time (though we never had any use for it, it was nice to know it was there).

Our Safari Infinity guide was amazing! It was immediately evident that this was not just a job, but a way of life for him. His passion and enthusiasm for the African Bush was contagious.

After months of planning, not to mention the expense, you can’t help but be a little bit nervous hoping you made the right choice of tour operator, itinerary, flights, etc. What a great feeling it is to look back and find everything happened exactly as planned. There is no doubt that Safari Infinity will be my #1 choice for all future travel to Tanzania!

Namibian Photographic Workshop
5/5

Tailor Made Safaris make an incredible effort to ensure that from the moment we arrived at Windhoek airport until the time we all left to go home, we were to experience something really rather special. The organisation was exceptional. Having done a recce the year before, Nick & Emil had meticulously planned the itinerary. There was an element of tourism for those of us new to Namibia, but of course primarily it was a photographic workshop, an intense one at that! Dawn shoots, dusk shoots and star shoots all at the most amazing iconic venues. Quite exhausting but we all learned an awful lot thanks to Nick van de Wiel and our photographic expert Emil von Maltitz. Both of them had an in depth knowledge of photography and who gently and patiently nudged me up a very steep learning curve! We were a happy, cohesive group made so by the huge efforts of Nick, his wife Freya and of course Emil. They made every effort to ensure that everyone's needs were catered for and that we indeed got value for money. My heartfelt thanks to them and my fellow students for making this truly, a trip of a lifetime.

South African Honeymoon
5/5

We had some pretty high expectations for our honeymoon, and Roho Ya Chui went above and beyond to make our trip amazing. Our agent was Ute, and she put together a perfect itinerary. We wanted to make a few modifications and she was very attentive and helpful to work with. We were able to do and see everything that we wanted and the itinerary had everything planned out perfectly. If we were to go on another safari, we would definitely work through Roho Ya Chui.

Excellent even in the details
5/5

Our group consisted of eight Norwegians of which three had been to South Africa before. We heard about Giltedge Africa (Southern Africa Travel) from ATG of Oxford. The dialogue with Giltedge Africa was a constructive one with good proposals and swift reactions. We received much appreciated advice on the safari part - Savanna Private Game Reserve - where Giltedge Africa in the end was very clear for which all the participants were very grateful. It was an excellent experience. Giltedge Africa also assisted in confirmation of some choicy restaurant bookings. All the bookings worked out. We were overall very pleased with the service level - swift reactions and clear advice - and even in the details, all worked out. The car was there when it should and the car guide was well suited to the group and its proclivities. If we were to do a South African trip again, and we might, Giltedge Africa would be the obvious cboice as tour operator.

A memorable experience
5/5

We had the chance to visit Tanzania earlier this year and be in a awesome contact with its stunning nature and welcoming people. Best Safaris organized for us an amazing private safari (3 days) giving us the opportunity to enjoy the best national parks and see animals while learning a lot about them, their habits, dynamics but also about vegetation and local population. Our guide, Goody, was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and Peter a very sociable and professional person we could rely on for the organization of the tour. All the rules agreed before hand were respected and we got back to Belgium with an amazing recollection of Tanzania. I recommend anyone to try Best Safaris when discovering the natural beauty of Tanzania.

Mount Kilimanjaro 6 day expedition
5/5

Guide: Epaphras Mgina

Our experience climbing Kilimanjaro was excellent. The days were very well planned and our guides prepared us well to reach the summit. The living conditions were clean and comfortable and our cook made great food. The first four days of our trip we slowly gained altitude up to 15,500 feet, which allowed us to acclimate to the high altitude. On the summit day, all 6 people in our group reached the summit without problems. Overall the trip was a wonderful experience and I look forward to doing it again some day.

Amazing Experience!
5/5

I was referred to Chels Tours by two friends I met while in Tanzania, and a tour guide named Beatus in particular. Unfortunately, my time for the safari was limited to one day, but Beatus did a wonderful job of squeezing everything in. He was very knowledgable, went at my group's pace, and had a wonderful sense of humor. I recommend him and Chels Tours to anyone looking for a quality African safari experience (it should be noted that I went on safari to the Tarangile, not the Serengeti. I would recommend the Tarangile to anyone, as well!).

Best experience with a travel agency ever.....
5/5

As a woman travelling alone to two new countries – Uganda and Rwanda – on the continent also quite new to me, I spent a lot of time looking for the right travel agency to organize my trip. More, I had two weeks to spend there flying from faraway (the U.S.) and I wanted to see “absolutely everything”, setting my expectations very high.

Encounter Africa Safaris in Uganda was an excellent choice! The Agency answered my numerous questions, advised me on the destinations, and at the end even reversed the order of the trip I wanted to take to accommodate my schedule. I took my trip in October’14 during the time when some tourist were cancelling their bookings in fear of Ebola, but I discussed that issue with the Agency and educated myself to be assured that there was no reason to postpone my trip. There was none.

It was the best trip of my life! I don’t expect to ever be able to top my meeting with the mountain gorillas in both Uganda and Rwanda with any other experience in the future! It was very thrilling and humbling at the same time! I spent most of the two weeks in Uganda, which is a beautiful country full of wildlife and gorgeous scenery.

Tolbert Guma, my guide from Encounter Africa Safaris who also drove me the entire 1760 kilometers did all possible so I could indeed see “absolutely everything” I wanted and even more than that. I got to know him as a very knowledgeable guide, an excellent driver (on both sides of the road!), and as a wonderful person with a great sense of humor.

Excellent service; great safari; great guides!
5/5

We booked very spontaneously a little 3-day Safari (starting from Arusha to Tarangire Nationalpark, then to Ngorongoro Crater, then Lake Manyara National Park). We had a great guide (and also safe driver), excellent accomodation (Panorama Campsite - amazing view) and overall a great time on safari. The service round the trip was super, starting with organising vegetarian meals (which were also fine!) to driving us through Arusha and picking us up directly at the bus station, so we never felt lost :)
After the safari we booked another local tour, and it was just like the same: great guide, great tour, great time. We spent a day walking through a village nearby, seeing local projects and eating local food.
After that, they even helped us booking our next flight.
Overall: Excellent, big recommendation!
