About: Tanzania
Beautiful Scenery, Unbelievable Animal Hub.

5/5

Its true most travelers have no notion of the beauty that lies in Tanzania. To be honest, I too didn’t know until I was invited on a trip to Tanzania and we were hosted by Asante Tanzania Safaris. Anybody who needs more comfort and luxury should go for lodges, there are pretty much affordable lodge accommodation but you need to confirm in advance especially if you plan to visit during the peak season.
The position of our country makes us hear what I can refer to as very little to nothing about Tanzania hehee. However brief or short the time was, we had very pleasant moments and recommend Asante Tanzania.

The best planned journey I have ever exterienced
5/5

We were an extended family of six people and all of us were experienced travellers. I was responsible for the booking and to my great relief everyone was extremely satisfied. We planned the safari in close contact with our guide Tony and he managed to fit all we wanted to do into the two weeks we booked. Tony was an excellent guide, great fun and very well organised. His knowledge of animal, especially birds, was fantastic and he could always answer our questions. The accomodation was superbly situated, the food was good and the gorillas, elephants, giraffes, lions, rhinos, hippos, leopards, monkeys, buffaloes, chimps etc were exactly where we were!

Exceptional game drive in Kilima Camp in Masai Mara
5/5

We enjoyed so much (2 couples) what Laurence prepared for us for our safari in the Masai Mara. We flew from Ukunda the 17th of October to Masai Mara with Mombasa Air to spend 4 days and 3 nights at Kilima Camp, near Olololo gate. We get the chance to stay up a hill with an unbelievable sightseeing of the Mara. We get the chance to see 4 Rhinos and many family of lions. We just missed the leopard but we had a very great moment. Back to Diani with full of images and thank you Laurence to choose for us this camp. Everything was absolutely perfect.
We hope to come back very soon with other friends.
Do not hesitate to make your safari with En Safari.

An amazing safari company which plays a big role in giving back to the community.
5/5

We have been recommending our SIC volunteers to go on safari with Jackpots for more than two years. None of our volunteers has come back and complained about anything. Amazing Amazing!

One of the best experiences of my life
5/5

Everything about this trip was amazing! The group experience, the porters and the guides where so good and added to the experience as they were so professional and upbeat throughout the climb, particularly our head guide Epa! He was so happy and upbeat he really made a positive atmosphere and boosted morale even when we were all at our most exhausted state. We wanted for nothing whilst climbing everything was set up ready for us as we arrived into camp. I really can't recommend these guys enough! The only people I'd climb with in future if I ever did it again.

A great programme and superb service at affordable rates
5/5

The administrative arrangements for our tour, from the 16th to the 19th of October were excellent. The agent who sold us the package was very helpful, and Mr Richard thoughtfully saw us the hotel in Arusha when we arrived on the 15th night. The driver Frank and his assistant were skilled and thoughtful, and the arrangements for food and accommodation most satisfactory. The programme was tight but we were very lucky to see all sorts of wild life, lions and elephants at very close quarters, including the fomer hunting and with two delightful cubs who put on a gala performance: cheetah and leopard and flamingo at reasonable distances, hippos wallowing and hyenas with prey, and lots of birds and deer and zebras and giraffes, the last once in a group of 80 which I gather is most unusual.

Excellent safari capped off by Wild Dogs at Naitolia Camp while on a early morning walk.
5/5

My wife and I did a 12 night safari in August 2014 with Eastco (East African Safari and Touring Company) starting in Mwanza and ending at Boundary Hill Lodge Tarangire. The various accommodation were excellent, food great varied and plenty. African soup is special.
The high light of the safari was the night spent at Naitolia camp ( 1 night) and the walk to Boundary Hill Lodge the next morning, we saw while walking wild dogs running along the road in front of us before they slipped off into the bushes and grass. Even our guide was amazed.
Boundary Hill Lodge perched on top of a steep bluff provided beautiful views over the conservation area below. There were a lot of elephants in the area and even some we saw drinking out of the pool.
Boundary Hill also offered Masai village visits and Tinga Tinga painting.
We also stayed at Speke Bay lodge (5 stars) Mbalageti (5 also) We camped at Eastco's Horizon camp, simple, clean but very nice wildlife everywhere but then again this was the Serengeti.
Perhaps the only disappointment on the trip was our stay at Sopa Lodge, I agree the descent road is an advantage but the lodge is extremely large and what I would call part of the institutanlized safari accomodation so often offered by Tour Companies. We preferred the smaller more boutique lodges and camps. These camps are a speciality of an Eastco trip. The communication before the safari was excellent, the service from the guide and all staff at Eastco also excellent. The trip exceeded our expectations to such a degree we have booked a 30 day trip for 2015 again with Eastco.
Simon certainly knows how to design a private trip to suit individual needs.
The 4 x4 was clean and excellent for the type of bush roads we went on.
All in all Tanzania is an excellent safari destination and Eastco (East African Safari and Touring Company)
an excellent Tanzania based tour operator

Great time in Tanzania
5/5

Nirmod Wilson was our guide and driver during our 9 days camping safari in Tanzania in October 2014. He is a very serious and agreeable guide and we had an excellent trip thanks to him. He was a careful driver; he took the time to turn off the engine and let us observe the animals, perfectly guessing when we had seen enough and were ready to go on. He knew where to find the different species in each park, and thanks to his work and of course with the usual amount of luck, we were able to observe all the animals we wished for. He has a great knowledge of the animal’s behaviors, which he was able to foresee and talk about it with many details. Finally, we spent more or less all or lunches and diners talking about various subjects from history to politics either European or African and we were impressed by Nirmrod knowledge.Overall, we had a fantastic trip and fully recommend booking Nimrod for a Safari.

Sun Safaris are a great tour operator and we had a wonderful experience
5/5

We had a great experience with the tour organized by Sun Safaris - we spent 3 days at Kapama Karula Lodge and 3 days at Simbambili Lodge. Both were outstanding - great ambience, great food and service. The luxury tent at Kapama was very nice and the chalet at Simbambili was great. We saw the Big 5 as well as lots of other animals - highlights were being up close in an open vehicle to lions, elephants and leopards. We were also very close to hyena's at their den - cute babies ! Overall : highly recommended and good value for money ! Thanks Natasha 1

Great journey with caracal tours
5/5

We made a wonderful trip with caracal safaris. We start with a 10 day safari. Ben is a good guide, he see a lot of things, which we should miss if he did not tell us. His knowledge of the nature and Tanzania is really good. We also want to say that Albert always made a nice breakfast, lunch and dinner. We really had a wonderful Safari. After the safari we visit Zanzibar. Marion suggest us to book a overnight stay in casa del mar which was arranged very well, like the whole trip we made. Thanks a lot for everything.
