great experience
5/5

We just had great experience with Hello Tanzania. We went 2 adults + 3 kids to Selous Park for 3 days.
Organization with perfect, before and during the trip. Mwajabu, the boss of Hello Tanzania is very flexible and worked hard to find us the best prices and availibilities in lodges. We slept at Butembo lodge : clean, beautiful, nice food, adorable staff. And Selous park is fantastic btw.

3 dream days out of Dar Es Salam. Thierry and Marie

a great tour-10 day safari Nairobi-Samburu-Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha-Amboseli
5/5

We changed a bit from the original tour and that was no problem. We always got a quick answer, also the confirmation for the payment.During the Safari everything was great, pick up always on time, accommodations were very good, our driver a very nice and really experienced driver+guide, always friendly and made an effort to give us the best positions for taking great photos. The lodges and the food were very good as well.Only the car was very slow. You could safe time with a better car.All busses and lorries were overtaking us.So the ways from one to the other park took many hours. In the parks the car was perfect-we had no flat tyre in 10 days!!!The tour was amazing and we want to say thank you for a great time.

A special trip!
5/5

We would like to begin this review in saying that our safari with Christopher and Jaffet has been one of the most memorable experiences of our lives, mostly because of the passion and the professionalism of our guide, who planned out the best travel itinerary in the little time we had available.
It is impossible to fully describe the sight of lions strolling around the jeep and the limitless nature in which eyes get lost in trees, herds and across the horizon. It might sound like a cliche to talk about the elephants at sunset the hippos at sunrise, the gazzelles and the pelicans. We loved the nights spent in the savannah, where you can hear the calls of animals in the deep silence and the sky turns into a ceiling of stars.
The most important thing to describe is the magic that we experienced in those four days with the morning light surrounding our tent and the warm wind, carrying exotic fragrances.
The skills of the organizer Christopher was impressive. He created the perfect tour, varied and unconventional; you realize it when you have the luck to be among a pack of lions with no one else around.
Everything accompanied with delicious african cousine!

Great Selous trip
5/5

They did not excellent job arranging a Selous trip for us. A key requirement was that we can book with PayPal which they supported. That was a big help.

Amazing experience!
5/5

We did a 4 days safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Back of Africa Adventure (Sandland tours in Tanzania). Allan, the manager is very competent. I talked with him and we arranged everything before the safari. During the safari everything was perfect; the guide (Estommy) was very friendly and very knowledable about the wildlife! We saw the big 5 and a lot of animals more!! It was amazing. The acommodation was perfect, above all the Katikati tented camp in Serengeti!Definetly, one of the best experiences in my life.

I warmly recommend on Get Away Adventures!!!
We went through an amazing experience and all thanks to Dulla and Nelson. Two amazing tour guides who are attentive to our needs and wishes. The tour is built considering our desires. If we asked for something or we needed something, they were happy to help immediately.
Dulla is a professional tour guide, who lives and feels the surface and continued to be excited and enjoy with us again and again, like it is the first time
Dulla did not give up until we've seen a hunter, mating and more amazing things.
You can count on a professional driver, which gives you a sense of security.
They gives a warm, kind, and pleasant treatment which enhances the experience of the trip.
With Dulla and Nelson you are in good hands.

The Perfect Safari Experience
5/5

My wife and I contemplated a safari trip and wanted to maximize the wildlife experience and exposure to East African culture while respecting the impact to the environment, and contributing to the East African community in some notable way. I'm thrilled to report that the Safari Partners - and Chris Ronneseth specifically - exceeded all of our expectations in this regard. Our experience was truly amazing - and managed to somehow exceed our own expectations for everything we hoped to see and experience while in Tanzania.

The Safari Partners recommended the Asilia group camps for all of our African safari - and these people absolutely understand their business - I was very impressed with how "locked down" their entire process was (from pickups to dropoffs, organization of all of our activities, meals, etc). We were very impressed with their commitment to the environment, the local communities they operate in, etc - this was a real plus for us in understanding our impact in coming to Africa and made us appreciate the decision to leverage Asilia even more. The guides were top notch at all 3 camps we visited, (Oliver's, The Highlands and Kimondo Mobile Camp) and the 3 recommended by Safari Partners offered a terrific cross section of experiences that resulted in us seeing the big 5, 3 of the dangerous 5 (the only 3 in Africa) and basically everything we had hoped we would see. The camps were beautiful and each very different. And despite truly remote experiences in the middle of the "safari action", there was still some room to be pampered with cold drinks, and beautifully prepared meals. We came to love the morning wake up call - with staff bringing a tray with hot coffee/tea and a few cookies to slowly start your day. The "Sundowner" was another tradition we came to appreciate - stopping to view the sunset over the African plains or hillsides while enjoying a cold beverage and snack - what memories!

Our personal favourite camp was Oliver's with the tent location and wildlife viewing, the inclusion of night game drives and walking safari's, our tent, etc. We really enjoyed everything going on there. We also particularly enjoyed the organized cultural visit to the Maasai village and the interaction with the people there at The Highlands camp - That was a very unique experience. And of course our stay at Kimondo within the Serengeti offered such a vast wildlife experience and variety of ecosystems, it is tough not to have a soft spot for that location.

Overall, I feel we had the perfect trip - and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Safari Partners and the Asilia camps if anyone ever asks me about a trip to Africa. We would also highly recommend you take advantage of a stopover from North America on your way to Africa. We took a few days in Amsterdam and it provided just the right break to get acclimatized to the time zone changes, and be well rested before you head into Africa for the main attraction.
