Hassle free booking with constant updates. They go the extra mile. Good way to start any holiday.
5/5

Staff very friendly, knowledgeable and always prepared to help. The new generator runs at the times given affording you cooking light for the evening meal in inclement weather. Rained only 2nd night. The trails are clearly marked and staff will give you a heads up on the difficulties of the trail that you have chosen to walk.
Chalets/bungalo's are well appointed and are cleaned very thourougly every morning when you are out hiking. The views are spectacular and we saw up to 30 Eland in different parts of the reserve. The most amazing thing is the utter silence other than the wind in the grass and the birds flying overhead. The water in the nudie pools is freezing, so take a partner for de-frosting. Booked again for June 2016 it is so good.

An awe-inspiring experience

5/5

This was the first time we'd visited Ruaha in the green season and it was a completely different experience from the dry season. I hadn't expected everything to be so lush. Everywhere was green, green, green! The birdlife was amazing - so many different species that it was difficult to know where to point the camera at times. One disappointment was that we didn't see as many raptors as usual. Because a lot of the animals had moved away from the area as there was no scarcity of water, a lot of the raptors had gone with them. Animal sightings were pretty good too, though obviously not as many as in the dry season. The weather was wonderful - we had no rain during our eight day stay and it was pleasantly warm day and night, though it did heat up a bit during the middle of the day but not uncomfortably so. Our camp (Mwagusi Safari Camp) was terrific as always with the most wonderful food and friendly staff. Our guide was exceptional, as was our driver. Ruaha is really picturesque with the most beautiful, varied landscape although the proliferation of trees and bushes did make photography a little tricky at times. We choose Ruaha because it is more remote than other parks in Tanzania, and consequently much less crowded. We have already booked to go back next year!

You might not see as much wildlife as in other parks in Tanzania (though the birdlife was spectacular at this time of year) but it is beautiful and has its own special magic.

Asante sana
5/5

We cannot say anything else but huge asante sana to Hamadi from Face of Africa who helped us organize our Safari adventure, it was perfect to the last detail…
Hamadi was of a huge help for us from the first moment we started to organize our safari – he answered a lot of our questions in advance by email, picked us at the airport in Arusha, organized decent accommodation for us in Arusha, devoted his free time to be our local guide in Arusha during the first and last day of our Safari and last but not least he organized a great 6-day Safari trip for us in an extremely comfortable car with educated guide Emanuel and a super chef Jamali. We travelled as a couple and decided for a budget camping Safari in order to save some money. However, in the end, we realized that we made a great choice not just because of some savings but also thanks to the opportunity to experience a piece of really wild nature. Face of Africa arranged a rental of a very comfortable, spacious tent, thus we really did not lack any comfort. Our guide Emanuel was were funny, friendly and talkative but what is most important, he was a living encyclopedia about the animals – he knew really a lot about the animals and it was amazing to listen to his lessons from zoology while game driving. Our chef, Jamali was great too…We are dreaming about his pancakes for breakfast and hot soups and delicious vegetable sauces for dinner even now. Making the decision to use the services of Face of Africa and Hamadi for our Safari experience was a great step and we are looking forward to cooperate with Hamadi while organizing our Kilimajaro trek next time 

Climbing Kilimanjaro with two buddies taking the 8 day Lemosho route
5/5

The trip was magical! E-Trip Africa provided outstanding service. We had a guide (Davis), assistant guide (Magnus), and sixteen super star porters. The food was delicious, the tents spacious, and the overall support above average! Luckily we only had one day of rain, which also enhanced the experience. The lodging around the trek was above expectations, especially the food. All and all, E-Trip provided a tremendous bang for the buck! Thank you Ben for the wonderful experience and memories!

Amazing Safari with Naenda!
5/5

We had a wonderful 2.5 day safari with Naenda. Despite the short time frame, Jesse helped us plan a great safari to Tarangire and to Ngorongoro Crater. Everything went so smoothly with the travel - the land cruiser was comfortable, we had great vegetarian food and we stayed at a lovely guest house in Karatu. The safari was incredible - we saw so many animals and Jesse seemed to know everything about them, the parks and the surroundings. He organized everything so that we were able to just enjoy the safari and marvel at everything we saw. I highly recommend Naenda - our safari really could not have been better!

Ngorongoro Crater
5/5

I went on safari with 4 friends to the Ngorongoro Crater with Godfrey's company and it was literally a flawless experience. As a more reasonably priced safari operator, you get real value for money. We paid the kind of sum you may expect for a cheap camping safari but instead we spent the night before the tour in a lovely little 'igloo' hut, received a three course meal and watched a Maasai acrobatics show. Our guide was a great guy, our vehicle was the newest, most comfortable and best equipped one in the Crater that day, our lunch was fantastic and we saw all the animals you may hope to see. Obviously that aspect was beyond the operator's control, but everything was perfect. I couldn't recommend Godfrey's firm Youth Adventures and Safaris any more highly as we were treated with great professionalism yet friendliness throughout the entire experience. There are lots of firms out there charging extortionate prices but we were a bunch of Cardiff Uni students and we found Godfrey's firm to fit within budget. 5*, 10/10, will be back soon!

Amazing Experience with an Amazingly Experienced Driver and Guide!!
5/5

I am a Canadian and it was my first time travelling to Uganda (or anywhere in Africa for that matter!) this March 2016. My parents had travelled there the year before and used this company, specifically a driver named Robert. They gave me advice saying, "Robert is the best!! Make sure you get him for your safari!" and even gave me extra money to make sure to book with Robert.
I am so happy that I took their advice. Robert was an amazing driver: knowledgable, trustworthy, professional, and always on time. He took us where we needed to go, when we needed to go and overall made the experience of travelling around Southern Uganda with a group of foreigners from Canada a 10/10 trip. I would highly recommend this driver and company to anyone looking for an amazing, stress-free adventure!!! :)
