Amazing country, more than just the big five
We went to Tarangire park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti park, Ngorongoro crater, (and we ended our trip in Zanzibar).
Every single places we visited has different features, each places amazed us. We never get bored from the sceneries. We saw a lot of beautiful animals, not only the big five.. but also many beautiful birds (small & big). We were surrounded by various mammals and birds. Animals walks around and do their usual activies and completely ignore the human. We were also so lucky to also spot reptiles (like agama lizard, monitor lizard, pink spitting cobra, leopard turtle).
We stayed in lodge, and camp/tent, were great. We ate very good food. The touristic places has good facilities. Clean toilet in all parks with running water. Nothing to complain! Guides are knowledgable and friendly.
Zanzibar is such a beautiful small island surrounded by torquise water. We did Blue Safari, worth to do! Doing walking tour in Stone Town is also recommended.
Tanzania has many beautiful souvenirs. But, most of the shops do not put the price tag, the seller decide the asking price (much overpriced) the time you ask for it. So, we personally found it irritating to bargain for a descent price (not too cheap, but also not a rip-off).
Overall, we have a beautiful unforgettable memory of Tanzania trip

Sabi Sands was Magnificant!
We stayed at Idube game lodge for our Sabi Sands adventure. Everything exceeded our expectations (and we are picky folks). The lodge staff, the rangers and trackers, and the culinary experts were all outstanding. Everyone was friendly and outgoing. If you wanted privacy, you could easily retreat to your room and deck. September was perfect for temperatures (cool mornings and hot afternoons) and animal encounters. Not a good time of year for birding, but we knew that going in. Saw everything we wanted to and more. Would highly recommend this lodge. As they say, "people make the difference"....they definitely did.
Uganda is a fascinating country to visit.
My wife and I greatly enjoyed our week in Uganda. It was a week of public political debate and we saw several soldiers in Kampala but never felt in any danger. After attending the launch of my sister's book about an outstanding Ugandan killed in 1984 we went on the Red Chilli 3-day tour to Murchison Falls National Park. It was a great adventure. Though it involved a 5-6 hour drive each way in our minibus the main highways were mostly in very good condition; our journey only became bumpy when we left the highway and had to take rough roads. The weather was generally fine and, as soon as we entered the park, we began to see baboons and interesting birds. At Red Chilli Hideaway camp site we stayed in mosquito proof tents. The first night we slept through the chomping sound of hippos eating grass outside, but some of our companions filled us in on this next morning!! The meals we ate in the camp dining quarters were particularly good. We greatly enjoyed our walk around the Falls which are quite dramatic. In our drives in the park we came quite close to giraffes, elephants, two lionesses, buffalos and saw also many antelopes, warthogs, and a spotted hyena. On our boat trip on the Nile we saw many interesting birds, also hippos and a sleeping crockodile! Our guides were excellent and our driver was very careful. We took many photos. From these, the African artwork souvenirs we bought, and from the warmth of African friendship we have many precious memories of the country. All our journeys started on time, but be prepared for a long wait for meals ordered in hotels and restaurants!

A wonderful country with abundance of wildlife, scenic drives and friendly people.
We had a fantastic guide - Mutemi from Dennisia Safaris. This made our experience just so much better. He knew all the parks we visited on the palm of his hand and knew where to drive to find the animals. We had lion sightings on a daily basis. The parks are packed with wildlife and they easy to spot. We visited Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Although the Mara is synonym with Kenya, Amboseli is an extraordinary park and it's highly recommended that it should be on your itinerary. I cannot wait to return.

True safari experience where all your dreams are met from big five encounters to postcard sunsets
We had a truely amazing journey with our guide Geoffrey. We saw all the big five experienced the migration of the wildebeest whilst visiting three very different national parks in Kenya. The trip into Masai Mara is very rough and long ( over 1.5 hrs) off road but once there the park is amazing. The trip being our first to Africa ticked all our boxes and only fertilised the desire to return again. If you go with Classic Journeys request Geoffrey. He knows where to find everything you may wish to see or buy and will go that extra mile to ensure his guests leave satisfied. Thanks again.

Amazing safari totally customized to your needs
We can really recommend to book a Safari tour with Travel for Change africa. As we had already fixed Start and end Dates, we had to customize the safari to the very end including a visit to famous ngorongoro crater and due to a recommendation of a friend also to go to Serengeti national Park which is a huge distance for a four days safari. Travel for Change did this perfectly and we had an amazing time with incredible lodges. We slept at rhino lodge and kubu kubu tented camp. Both lodges are absolutely fantastic. Our guide named Eli prooved to be an 'eagle eye' who detected e.g. Cheetahs earlier than our binoculars. Incredible ;-). Eli was a great guide providing us with all information needed during the safari. Really nice guy.
A fun, safe and enjoyable experience booking our safari online with the help of the Timbuktu team.
It was easy to design the trip online with the added bonus of having the team at Timbuktu to help whenever we had questions or last minute requests. Very personal service, and we were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Their recommendations were fantastic and the safaris we went on in Zambia and Botswana were of the highest quality and the travel between camps seamless. We also enjoyed a few days on Azura Island off Pemba in Mozambique, which was just idyllic and the perfect compliment and ending to our wonderful holiday.

2-day safari at the Lake Manyara National Park and to the Ngorongoro Crater
We had a marvelous 2-day safari at the Lake Manyara National Park and to the Ngorongoro Crater in a very comfortable car of Lomo Tanzania Safari.
During those 2 days were had the change to have Raphael with us, the guide of Lomo Tanzania Safari. A very friendly and chearful guide, very punctual and with enormous knowledge of the wild-life as well as Masai culture about which he could give us a lot of interesting information.
We really recommend Lomo Tanzania Safari to anybody looking for a wonderful Safari experience with a honest company with great knowledge of wildlife and culture.

ACZ Safaris was excellent choice for 3 days Masai Mara
First of all email communication with Joshua was very clear and he answered all my questions, then he personally picked us up at our place in Nairobi, also dropped off after safari.
Our driver James Gichina was great guide and his driving skills were famous, he found always perfect spot for us to make clear pictures of all animals and interesting information about them, also thanks to him we saw all BIG 5, great job James. We can recommend ACZ safaris and James as driver/guide with confidence for great fun and adventure.
We were at Rhino camp, it is not a 5 star accommodation but room was clean, also bedding, hot shower and that is all we needed for 2 nights during safari.
