Wonderful holiday, custom made and completely stress free
5/5

We had a perfect experience with Makasa tour operations. We had our own plans and views on the trip to Tanzania, but Selma's advice on lodges and activities made the trip much more memorable. Without exception, the lodges we stayed at had very kind personnel and the environment was absolutely stunning; both the expensive and the less expensive ones; she definitely knows what she is talking about!
The Safari guide Makasa had arranged for us was much more than just that; he was very good companion and became a friend we hope to show Holland sometimes. His knowledge of wildlife was overwhelming, not only about the big cats and those kind of animals, but also about the variety of birds and plant life. Whereas some tour guides are more like drivers, our guide was a real safari guide who was able to spot animals and happening (like the birth of an Impala) other guides drove past without spotting the happening.
During the whole safari tour as well as our trip to Zanzibar, everything had been thought out for us and had been pre-arranged, making this a completely stress free holiday.
We recommend Makasa tours to whoever reads this, as well as to any friend in Holland who thinks about going to Afrika.

Superb trip organisation and excellent staff
5/5

I have travelled with Somak a number of times and each time have been impressed by all aspects of the trips. They have tailored holidays to meet my requirements in a professional and friendly manner. All pick ups/drop offs have always been absolutely punctual. Their staff on the ground in the various locations have been excellent and the locations they choose of a high standard.

South Africa
5/5

The folks at Journey Beyond were extremely helpful and professional, dealing with many changes, special dietary need issues, and coordinating with another family's travel plans. They also made great recommendations and sent us a complete printed itinerary with everything documented. I don't know how we would have done it without them!

Terrific Trip!!!
5/5

Thanks to Gosheni Adventures my three weeks vacations in Tanzania with my husband and friends were just AMAZING! Peter from Gosheni and my husband planned a nice schedule that included climbing Mount Meru, Mount Kilimanjaro and go to Safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Very intense three weeks with lots of fun and activities and Gosheni provided excellent guides, drivers and cooks. For various reasons, including boots that did not fit correctly, I decided that I should not go to Mt. Kili after my husband and friends finished Mt. Meru. And, I need to thank Richard, our guide in Mount Meru for his patient and knowledge dealing with my issues climbing the mountain. Even though it was an unexpected change in our schedule, Peter was able to put together a trip to Zanzibar for me and my husband while our other friends went to Kilimanjaro. We had a great time in Zanzibar, the beaches were great, transparent water, pure white sand and amazingly clean. Food, people and the hotel were more than we expected. Peter did a wonderful job! Samir was our driver for the Safaris he was tireless driving us around the parks to show us the most beautiful scenes in the wild. As our friend Jane said it was an experience of a lifetime. In addition, our cook Anton always provided us with delicious meals. Under my request, he also cooked local food like Ugali, yummy! So, if you are planning to explore Tanzania with all its beauty and wildlife Gosheni Adventures is the way to go!

Mosu Safari Tours (Botswana)
5/5

My family and I had the most amazing holiday with mosu Safari's in Botswana.
Oliver the owner of the company accommodated us for everything we wanted to do while in Botswana.
We spent 4 nights in campsite's (1 in Botswana and 3 in Zambia) and 8 nights wild camping.
We were very well looked after by Madumo, Killos and Simon. Kilos made the most amazing meals on the open fire every day. When I first arrived with my teenage daughters (without my husband) Madumo put us at our ease and we felt safe even at nights around the camp. My husband arrived 3 days later and Oliver looked after him until we met up with him.
By far the wild camping was the best, what an absolute experience to have. From hyphens walking around your tent at night to hearing hippos eating grass nearby as well as hearing elephants knocking down trees and getting wild dogs walking through your camp at dusk. By far sleeping out in the great outdoors within a wildlife park in Botswana is one of the best experiences in our lives.
This was Madumo's first guiding tours with Mosu Safari's, and his experience on the wildlife and his knowledge was exceptional and safety was Paramount.
We highly recommend both Botswana and Mosu Safaris.

Great Guides, well organized and fun!
5/5

For a low budget safari, it was great! The cook and the guides that we had a great attitude and were very knowledgeable. Even without all of the extras (balloon, boat ride), it was well worth it. Food was excellent and the accommodation wasn't bad at all. I would totally come back and go on safari again with these guys!

Unforgettable safari experience!
5/5

We initially selected Bush Routes because we had a limited budget and it was the cheapest offering for a 3-day safari in Selous reserve. It was supposed to be a group safari but we were lucky to get a private safari as it was low season! Our guide Joshua drove us to Selous reserve (approx. 6h from Dar Es Salaam) and we arrived at Hippo Camp lodge along the Rufiji river. The room was simple but clean with a great view on the river; we were very happy with the service, the staff was welcoming and the food was very good. We had a boat safari on the first day, then a full day in the reserve and a walking safari the next day. We would recommend to stay one more day to enjoy another day for game drive.
A big thank you to our guide Joshua, who made this experience amazing, he is very kind and passionate, we will always remember the lunch break with the elephants in the background! I would highly recommend Bush Routes to anyone coming to Tanzania.
