Flexible and committed to delivering
5/5

There where some misunderstandings at the beginning of the tour, but they where resolved in professional and satisfying manner.
The tour matched our expectations and what we didn't get to see, was not because of the quality of the tour, but because of wildlife being what it is, unpredictable.
Overall I would recommend them to other people.

The members of the staff were responsive, well-informed, friendly and efficient.

All excellent. From the first communications to the final day, everyone I dealt with was above average in all areas. Faith was able to accommodate our schedule changes easily. Sylvester, our guide, was beyond good in all aspects of his job.

It was a awesome experience.

It was great to be on Safari with Meru Slopes. We knew it was a budget Safari but they gave us much more than what we expected. The driver/ guide Bernhard was very knowledgeable and so kind. He drove us to all the best places on our 5 day safari. We saw all the wild animals. We couldn’t imagine any better. Of course we slept in a tent but it was not a problem for us as we were prepared for that. Isak, the cook, made us a great meal every day. I can only recommend Meru Slopes and would go with them again.

Safaris in Botswana and Namibia
5/5

We had the delightful experience of booking 2 separate safaris with Nature Travel Namibia. We spent 6 days in Botswana and a week in Namibia.

The trip was almost seamless, with complex transfers by van, small planes to Okavango Delta locations, and truck safaris to remote places all mixed into one trip. Nicolette Mueller was our liaison for the planning and she always responded in a very timely manner to our thoughts, ideas and logistics planning between the United States and Africa. We particularly appreciated her “paring down” of our ambitious itinerary for both Botswana and Namibia given our time constraints!

All the staff and guides at the lodges and tented camps were professional, kind and paid much attention to the details. We can easily give a particular shout out to Previous Tsvigu, who patiently chauffeured and guided us through the history, animals and landscapes of his adopted country, Namibia. We had one particular experience where we were worn out after a long day’s drive and wanted to rest at the lodge, but Previous felt we needed to see the desert-adapted elephants in Damaraland. We knew that tracking down these animals was hit or miss, so we told him to go it alone, and come back to retrieve us if he found them. Sure enough, he raced out to the sight, found three elephants, and raced back to grab us for what turned out to be a lovely sighting of grazing elephants and a wonderful sundowner experience of the grasslands on the hood of our truck!

These kinds of attention to detail are what separates this travel company from the masses. They are smaller and truly care for their clients’ welfare and experience. The variety of experiences and things we requested (mokaro boat rides) are not always easy to find. Thanks again to Nature Travel Namibia which we can wholeheartedly recommend!

Memorable
5/5

We booked an African safari for the first time and we decided to go with a local Kenyan agency. So we found Tekko.
Maggie was very friendly and fast responding to all our questions… and they were many as we had no idea what to expect.
She booked for us a 14 days/13 night (safari + beach at Mombasa) and it was just perfect.
Our driver was Gordon and he was very nice, no so talkative, but neither were we, so we fit great. He did answer and explained everything we asked and we enjoyed his company a lot. Thanks to him we saw so many animals: lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, birds, etc, but the most impressive were the 57 elephants, traveling all together in Amboseli.
The accommodation was perfect and the beach wonderful.
We recommend to all to go to Africa and if you do … go with Tekko.

Awesome Wildlife and Cultural Experience
5/5

I went to the "7 day migration of wilderbeast maasai mara and lake nakuru park" safari at the end of June 2018.
Since the very beginning, I had a very good impression of the travel agency, as they always replied to my emails in a timely and professional manner. The experience got better and better as I landed in Nairobi, where I was welcomed by the Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris staff, and greeted by Mr Otieno in person.
Perhaps most notably, I was really awed by the professionalism, expertise and good spirit of George, our safari guide. He really made me live unforgettable moments from day 1, and always strived to provide a personal touch to the safari and customize the journey to my needs; for instance making some deviation in the journey if I had to buy something, or staying longer in one or the other park if I wanted to.
Mr Otieno, you are lucky to have such a great guide in your team!

Personalised, Perfect & Zuri!
5/5

Me and my partner did a 7 day Kilimanjaro Machame climb & 4 day safari with Zuri Tours and it was the best decision we made. From beginning to end Emmanuel looked after us & I cannot thank him and his team enough. Our Kilimanjaro climb was epic, we ended up in a group climbing with two other people (so a total of 4) and we all got on and had a great laugh. Our guide was King William and assistant guide was Emmanuel and we were joined by 16 other amazing Kilimanjaro soldiers who made the experience even better. They took the time to learn our names and we learnt theirs, they cheered us on when we left camp, along the trail and when we arrived at the next camp. Our tents were ready on arrival by the amazing Miyagi (aka Usain Bolt of Kili), the food was out of this world and enough to go around (asante sana, chef Pantaleon) and the atmosphere within the group between us and the team was extremely fun. King William also made sure that we were the first people up every day at each camp (5-5:30am) and were usually the first people on the trail, we had time to take as many breaks as we needed and enjoyed the walk thoroughly, pole pole. Incredibly, all 4 of us reached Uhuru peak and all the early mornings, heath checks and hard work paid off but, we cannot be more thankful to the wonderful team who guided us up to Kibo. King William is truly the King of Kilimanjaro, you just have to go and meet him yourself! We ended up having dinner together, even sharing a few shots of Gin when we came down the mountain with King William, Emmanuel and a few of the Kili soldiers at Hugo’s in Moshi (highly recommended) and had a chance to meet our safari tour guide, Godlove.

After our climb, we went on a three night, four day safari to Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP & Ngorogoro Crater NP with Godlove (aka the animal whisperer)!. Everything was arranged perfectly - the lodges that we stayed at were beautiful, the maasai’s we met were friendly and we learnt a lot about the culture, and we even ended up seeing the BIG 5!!!! Godlove was an amazing guide, he spotted most of the animals from far (even though I thought they were just bushes) and we shared some unforgettable moments.

I could go on forever on how amazing these guys truly are but you really have to experience this for yourself. A HUGE ASANTE to the team at Zuri Tours for a fabulous trip, lifelong friends have been made and we cannot wait to return and see you all again in the future.

Very Friendly!
4/5

Our guide and driver Kikitu was so friendly and helpful. So lucky! We saw so many incredible animals on the trip. The camp site is ok, but it’s undoing a lot of renovation it seems.
