Great Tour
We did a one day trip to Tarangire national park and had a great time. The guide kept us entertained and was knowledgeable on all animals that we came across. The truck was well equipped with as much water, soft drinks and beers as we wanted. The lunch was very enjoyable and there was more than enough to go around. Would recommend.

Uganda Nature and wildlife tour
We did our second tour in Uganda with Matoke Tours.
We had 10 days with our guide John from Matoke tours and it was a fantastic experience.
John was as always a rock to hang on to during these trips, he has extremely good knowledege and are a great driver.
The guides in the parks and nature walks was verry serviceminded and full of knowledge.
We especially think about Moses and his guiding in Sipi Falls and the coffey plantation as a great experience but also all rangers in the different parks we meet during our tour.
Remember that the hike around Sipi falls can be quit hard depend on weather, if it rains the track will be verry slippery and hard to use.
The lodges was according to our expectations but we would like to see some alternative to the 3 cource menu at dinner time for example some more lighter food.
During the drive around the country we recommend that you have a neck pillow due to the bad roads and a thermos with cold water. A flashlight on the evenings is also a great feature to bring.
As always Matoke tours delivered a great planned trip and the communication with Pleunie was great from start to finish during our planning.
We recommend Matoke tours when planning a Uganda trip.

Had to report to police. Buyer beware.
To cut a long story short, the driver, who was subcontracted by Mousebird Safaris Mr. Lema, one night of 4 took us to the wrong hotel upon instructions of Mousebird Safaris. He was then not able to take us to the correct hotel (Ascertained after he called his boss) due to the park closing and him not wanting to as it was 1.5 hours away and he "would not have taken this job on had he known this before" (quote from driver.) Upshot was that we had to pay 350 USD on TOP of what we had already paid because the driver would/could not take us to the hotel Mousebird had booked. We called the owner at Mousebird several times and he did not pick up. All my messages were, funnily enough, ignored.
After this, I had wanted Mousebird to settle this directly with the driver who had paid the new (and horrible) hotel, but the driver strongarmed us to his office and forced us to pay his boss for this 350 Dollar hotel he had taken us to in error. Mousebird Safaris Mr. Lema is refusing to pay us back. We have reported it to the police and a case against Mousebird Safari is ongoing.
Mousebird basically contracts their services to a driver who is working for several agencies so you constantly have to wait until others have been picked up from other agencies. Our driver from a firm called Avocet Safaris Tanzania, was picking up several people and messed up this trip entirely. The whole thing was an organisational mess.
I would never ever recommend Mousebird Safaris as I believe that they are not honest. We will see Mr. Lema from Mousebird Safaris in court.

Best Safari Experience
We booked our Safari through Spirit of Kenya, which brought us through Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti as well as the ngorongoro crater. The experience we had was one of a kind and we enjoyed every second of the trip. Everything, from our drivers, the hotels, and the tour went phenomenal well and we definitely would us Spirit of Kenya again.
Special thanks to Victor who went far and beyond in putting together a breathtaking tour. In preparing the itinerary, Victor provided excellent guidance and recommended the best option for our trip. Hands down amazing experience and even better service.

Ivan is very friendly, reliable and correct!
We are two German bicyclists and have been traveling for ten months. Looking for a way to visit the gorillas we got Ivan’s contact. Everything went perfect. Very friendly, reliable and correct. We enjoyed some days in the Motel Santaviva, which we consider a great mix of African guest house and western style hostel. The same with Ivan. He is an authentic African, who knows very well what western tourists like and need. He needs at least two days to get gorilla permits, if available. But he offers way more than gorilla tracking, for example coffee experiences, nature walks, biking, Vulcano hikes and so on. No problem to spend a couple of days in Kisoro. Highly recommended!!!

A Safari Adventure to Remember
I am writing this review for Mufasa Tours and Travels two months after coming back to my home country. And to state it briefly, my one-week safari experience over the Christmas and New Year period 2023/2024 left me with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the wildlife of the African savannah.
Our safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania was 20 days in total for my parents, while I joined them in the middle of the tour for 10 days. Every detail, from accommodation arrangements to game drives, was well planned by Mufasa Tours and Travels, ensuring a hassle-free and enjoyable trip. While the price tag was on the higher side, the impeccable organization and exceptional service made it well worth every penny.
What truly elevated our experience was our passionate guide, Moses. His enthusiasm for the wildlife was infectious and he was extremely experienced at his job, taking us to places where we would get a higher chance to see wildlife while being respectful of the park rules. The vehicle was well-maintained and cleaned every day to our amazement, and safety precautions were consistently observed, so we really felt in good hands with him.
The camps and lodges selected by the company were all very comfortable and immersed us in the heart of the wilderness. Our only negative critique would be that the lodge where we stayed at in the Serengeti National Park was quite far from where the wildlife was for that period of the year. Our other regret is that we only had one full day in the Serengeti, so we had a long drive that day from the lodge to get to the wildlife and the game viewing itself felt comparatively short. If your schedule allows it, I recommend staying at least 2 full days in that immense park.
One incident highlighted the exceptional customer service we received during our safari. My luggage did not arrive with me when I landed in Nairobi but was lost during my transit. Joel and the Mufasa staff went above and beyond to assist me, calling the airline and making trips to the airport to inquire about my luggage. In the end, as it was the holiday period, my luggage took many days to be located and could not be delivered to me as I was constantly moving to different areas, but they ensured that it was delivered to my departure airport. Their dedication to resolving the issue really allowed me and my family to focus on our holidays and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife without any worries and I am deeply grateful to them for that.
In conclusion, our tour with Mufasa Tours and Travels was a top-notch safari experience. If we get an opportunity to go on another safari, maybe during the Great Migration season, we will book with Mufasa Tours and Travels again!

Top safari
I recently had the pleasure of exploring the wonders of Tanzania on a 4-day safari organized by Mellivora African Travels, and I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience that was worth every penny.
From the beginning of our adventure, communication with Fransisca, our guide Elieza, was absolutely excellent. He was not just a guide, but a true ambassador of the beauties of Tanzania. With a friendly approach and vast knowledge of the local wildlife and culture, Elieza made each day on our safari not only educational but also extremely enjoyable.
Mellivora African Travels has proven to be an extremely reliable company, offering top-notch services from accommodation to well-planned itineraries in the most scenic locations. We had the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat and Elieza provided us with valuable information and answers to all our questions.
The safari experience was simply magical. Every moment spent on this trip was a perfect combination of adventure, education and relaxation. I truly felt the essence of Africa and left with memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
I highly recommend Mellivora African Travels and especially Elieza as a guide. This safari was an unforgettable adventure and I will definitely choose Mellivora African Travels again for my future trips to Tanzania.

Awesome
I came to Tanzania to Volunteer, so my days off were limited. First of all it was just me and friendship still agreed to book my tours to Tarangire and Ngangorgora National Parks. I had the entire jeep to myself, no worries about traveling with strangers. My tour guide/driver was kind and answered all my question. I stayed at the Marera lodge which was beautiful. The rooms were very nice. My total experience was more than I could have ever expected. A trip I shall never forget. Thank you so very much Friendship! I highly recommend this company.
