Thoroughly enjoyable and informative ... a must!
Unforgettable experience.”
Reviewed 1 January 2017
Our trip was booked for our family of eight visiting from England. Our guide was Sheldon and he was fantastic. His knowledge of the game park and its animals was second to none. He was patient, good humoured and nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to further trips with Tim Brown tours. All of our family agreed that it was the best trip they had ever been part of and the memories would be remembered forever.

Excellent weekend getaway to Murchison Falls
I booked a three day group tour to Murchison Falls and was extremely impressed with the overall quality of the trip. The driver was kind and attentive, the park stunningly beautiful, and the accommodation comfortable and relaxing. The tour was incredible value for money, and has been one of my favourite holidays in east Africa ever.

Rude and disinterested tour-guide - don't book with SafariBook Evolution
Myself and my husband have recently returned from a 3 day safari with SafariBook Evolution in Kenya through the Masai Mara to finish off our 4 months spent travelling in Africa. Having spent a lot of time looking on TripAdvisor prior to selecting our company we decided choose SafariBook Evolution due to their cheap prices and despite their occasional dubious reviews however unfortunately this was a bad decision! Our trip was extremely disappointing and we would advise spending a few more dollars and going with a more trust-worthy company.
Our guide was disinterested, extremely rude and spoke limited English. He didn’t talk to the group and spoke about us rudely to other tour company guides. He needed to be pushed to go into the park and was reluctant to do so, cutting our time inside the park short on all occasions.
With regards to the campsite; it was a tented site however was extremely basic; the tents had holes in them, the zips didn’t work, the mosquito nets were dirty and holed, there was limited hot water and no wi-fi despite this being promised.
Alongside this, and probably our most alarming concern was that our guide had a complete disregard of park rules. He frequently drove off the park tracks, towards animals often causing them to run away in fear much to our surprise. This is obviously wholly inappropriate, not only for the obvious harm it causes animals but also for the future conservation of the park and its tracks.
We have been in back and forth emails with the owner Steve however this has been a fruitless task. We would strongly advise spending a few more dollars and going with a company that is much more trust-worthy. Don’t book with Safaribook Evolution!

Very good organize and affordable Safari
I took 2 days 1 night Safari to Maasai Mara and it was good and according to my expectations. We could see lions, cheetah, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, gazelles, wildebeest and other minor animals in the reservation. Good and pleasant experience.
7 day Uganda Classic Tour
It is my pleasure to recommend this company and wonderful group of people.
I recently came back from a trip to Uganda which turned out to be one of my best vacations.
My trip was arranged by Mark of Achieve Global Safari. Mark and Ajok the guide/driver came to meet me at the airport and we were later joined by Polly at the hotel. The whole team is very friendly and accommodating to my needs. My guide was very knowledgeable and named almost all the birds he pointed out for me.
Their prices are very reasonable and I took the luxury option for a few more dollars. I think it is worth it.
It is too bad I cannot send the fee by PayPal or credit card since the area has a lot of frauds. I did not have any reference before but I took the risk and sent half of the fee in advance by bank transfer. I did not have any problem and got what I asked for.
The accommodations were great and probably the best I could have in this country.
Please make sure that you are pretty fit to go on a Gorilla tracking.
I am planning to visit Tanzania to watch migration in the future and I will be happy to use this company again.

The best honeymoon!
Thanks to Takims Holidays, my wife and I had an amazing 2-week honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Takims Holidays was professional and immensely helpful as we planned our trip. We were taken care of from the minute we landed in Tanzania up until our departure. We felt well taken care of. They created an amazing itinerary that fit perfectly into our budget. Their choices of hotels/lodging/camps were great. We loved our safari guide, Richard; he was knowledgeable and a very skillful safari driver. I would strongly recommend Takims Holidays to anyone planning a safari trip!

Couldn't have been more amazing
Spent two nights at Elephants Eye lodge and had an amazing full day game drive through Hwange National Park. We saw so many animals and had such a great day. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Liars and Thieves...Buyer Beware!
Having traveled to 49 countries including many developing countries, we try to book tours, excursions, drivers and accommodations with local business to help the local economy. Never have we been taken advantage of until now. Tembea personnel and staff are thieves and liars. They give the good people of Kenya a Very bad name and reputation. Calling them thieves and liars is an Insult to liars and thieves. I deposited with them for our Safari in October 2015 because of the owner's past employment with a world renown company A&K. As A&K is one of the highest rated suppliers of safaris. I assumed (wrong on my part) that having worked in their capacity, that professionalism and integrity would follow when operating their own company. Was I ever wrong. I always try to see the best in people but Tembea has left a very deep scar and they should be Ashamed of themselves. Using emails with Angelina, who initially appeared very professional and was quick to respond to my emails, she was always happy to make any changes I had. I felt comfortable with sending the required deposit for what was to be an awesome custom safari and understood the terms and conditions for cancellations and changes, I was a little apprehensive when they required the deposit by "wire transfer only". You have No recall as with a credit card should things go wrong. My fault. We decided to cancel for personal reasons, followed the Exact Tembea policy and was advised that we would receive a refund of $2,000.00 as outlined in their terms/conditions. I knew that there would be a penalty and was okay with that as I agreed when sending in the deposit. I was advised that a refund back to the wired account would be processed in 2 months. 2 months passed , no refund. I was then advised that I should pay the full amount of the safari so that the refund process would be expedited. What??? Never have I been asked to pay in full to receive a refund. At that point I Knew dealing with Tembea was a Scam. I held my frustration and continued my emails regarding my refund and then was told that it would be processed at the END of their season in October 2016. Again I kept my cool Knowing I was dealing with Scam artists. At the end of October 2016 I made one last ditch effort and still they continued to assure me that a refund was following. I know there is NO refund. So you have Been Advised and Buyer Beware. If you continue to deal with Tembea and your dream safari does not manifest correctly for you, you were warned! I am out $4,200.00. Shame on me for being trusting!

Had an amazing time with Gorilla Link Tours in Uganda!
The communication with GLT was great and easy. They were always receptive to what we needed and made sure we were getting the best out of our experience with them! The safari tour we went on at Mweya was great and the drivers showed us everything they could with the help of our GLT associate Carole! Overall had a great experience and learned about the many options GLT has to offer. I can't wait till I visit Africa again and get a chance to visit with GLT once more.

Ker & Downey took care of everything!
Ker & Downey helped make my wife and I's trip to South Africa our best vacation ever. From arranging first-class accommodations, to making reservations at fabulous restaurants, to arranging interesting side trips, to whisking us through passport control and customs, they had everything covered. And, of course, the safari itself was beyond all expectations. If you are looking for someone to arrange your safari, look no further!
