A most delightful experience!
Kameraz of Afrika were exceptional from the moment we first communicated. Carol was extremely responsive and helpful in designing a suitable itinerary at a competitive price. Brian was very helpful with the logistics and payment plans. Geoffrey was exceedingly knowledgeable of the various kenyan parks and made the trip incredibly memorable. This was our 2nd Safari in Kenya and we will certainly be using them again upon our next visit to the country and to Tanzania. I highly recommend them!

A magical place where culture and wildlife meet.
I travelled to Kenya in January and spent a week in Nairobi with friends and a week traveling solo. I can honestly say that this was the most amazing trip I've ever had in my life. The culture of Nairobi was unlike anything I've ever seen in a big city. The blend of vibrant urbanism, huge skyscrapers and bustling African markets and the close proximity to nature was perfect. The only drawback being how busy the city is and the lack of public transportation. The highlight of Nairobi were the food in Boho Eatery, the Giraffe center and the nightlife at The Alchemist. During my travels I initally went for a 3-day safari to Maasai Mara with Balu Travel Ltd. Since I was traveling by myself I opted to join another group and I couldn't have been luckier with the group, young people around my age from many different countries. Francis, the bushman, was the perfect guide for the safari, professional, knowledgable and fun to be around. I stayed at Emayian Luxury Camp which was one of the most luxurious... Read more hotel experiences I've ever had and the staff there and facilities were top notch. But the most amazing thing by far were the animals themselves. I saw all of the big five, apart from the rhino; lions, elephants, panther, leopard, buffalos, along with giraffes, zebras, pumbas, crocodiles and many more! Seeing these animals in their natural habitat is a sight I will remember as long as I live. After the safari I travelled to the coast, spent a few days by Diani Beach and one day in Mombasa which was also an amazing city and completely different from Nairobi. However, it was a bit too hot there for my Icelandic blood. All in all I couldn't recommend Kenya more as a destination, the culture is vibrant, the food is wonderful and cheap, the nature and wildlife are among the most beautiful in the world and the people are some of the friendliest I've ever met. I will definitely be coming again!

A place not to be missed
I travelled to Kenya in February 2024.
Flew from Manchester to Heathrow to Nairobi to Mombasa. Experience at Nairobi airport wasn't great. It would have been nice to have been told that I had to pick my bag up at Nairobi airport before catching my connecting flight to Mombasa. More details as to where to catch the flight to Mombasa would have also been good.
Mombasa was an interesting place with lots of history. Spent 3 nights here before heading to Diani beach. Lovely beaches and spent time relaxing. Good bars and restaurants all along the coastal area. Bora Bora was a good place to visit. Had breakfast with a giraffe which was something special.
From Diani beach I went on a 4 night safari with Kenya Bush Expeditions. Went to Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Parks. I wasn't that keen on doing a safari but the rest of my family wanted to do it. Well I'm glad I did it. It was certainly an experience I wouldn't have wanted to miss. Saw so many animals and some... After the safari I went to Nairobi to finish off the holiday. Nairobi was much cooler which was good from my point of view.
There is lots to see here. Went on another safari! Nairobi National Park. Much smaller than the other National Parks but still well worth a visit. Karen Blixon museum was interesting. The tour guide was very good and there's lots of shopping.
I would really like to go to Kenya again as there is still so much to see.

Wonderful and diverse country
Uganda is a fantastic country with lots of different wildlife and nature. We especially liked all the different kind of monkeys and of course the highlights of getting really close to chimpanzees and gorillas. But also just doing a nature walk in the national parks and suddenly standing in the middle of a big group of giraffes, meeting some of the very friendly local people, eating a lot of fantastic fresh fruits, hiking in the forrest or to waterfalls and doing bird watching on the lakes - there is something for everyone there if you enjoy wildlife and nature.
In February we were very lucky with the weather and there was almost no rain. And just before the rainy season many animals have babies, so that we also got to see a lot of young animals of all different kinds. I would recommend also stopping at a local market sometime along the road trip and trying some of the local food. We did the trip with Tubale Safaris and had a wonderful time in Uganda. During the whole trip I felt very safe and welcomed. I have recommended Uganda as a travel destination to everyone.

Disrespectful persecution of the chimpanzee to get a picture
I was in the Park a few days ago and surprisingly, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. More than 50 people (usually there are about 80), chasing and harassing an animal to get a photo with it. The security policy, the respect and the privacy on the part of the Rangers was zero: no distances kept, no masks on, no speaking in a low tone, no control over the crowds and running of people after the animal. Very disappointing, nothing respectful of the animals and absolutely nothing professional at all. They talk about training more families to split over humans and thus expand the number of visitors and, consequently, their economic income. I don't understand why a wild animal has to be trained to the presence of humans @s, with the simple purpose of photographing it and increasing the visits and income of the Park. They should manage it in a more controlled way and reduce the number of visitors per day. I do not recommend it at all. I give it a star because the website does... I hardly believe that the only goal from the Park is to get as much income as possible no matter the treatment of animals in it.
Very beautiful peaceful place
The park is beautiful with a wide diversity of landscapes and animals. We saw a leopard and her cub before we even checked in at the lodge. Although at first captivated by the lions, the elephants quickly became my favorites and watching their behavior was endlessly entertaining. We saw all the Big Five over and over but never got tired of spotting something new. The Lodge itself was beautiful and we loved our Royal Suite where we could shower with a view of animals in the bush. The food was good and plentiful, it always seemed to be mealtime! The sunsets were dramatic and we even got to experience an earth-shaking thunder storm. We learned a lot from our tracker and guide, enjoyed mixing with other guests from all over the world, and completely fell in love with South Africa. We can recommend Kapama River Lodge to everyone. This was our first safari, but not our last!

Excellent organization and pre tour communication
The tour primarily consisted of an air safari to two upmarket lodges, one in the Namib desert and the other in a private reserve adjacent to Etosha national park. The tour went like clockwork and thoroughly met our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the meet and greet services provided by Peter Boer on our arrival and departure from Windhoek.
