A Dream Vacation made possible by Rose H. and the Luxury Safari
5/5

I have dreamed about an African safari for as long as I could remember, and thank you to Rose and the Luxury Safari company, my dream became an amazing reality. Being a traveler I know things that I like and want when traveling, and Rose worked with me every step of the way to accommodate us. Not only arranging everything that we requested but also the little things and the extras that we would have been too excited to think about . I can honestly say this trip was more than i could have imagined. A few bumps that were uncontrollable were handled very quickly and smoothly and turned out to be better than probably what we had planned originally . Knowing how stressful and picky I was throughout this whole booking experience, Rose was able to keep calm, calm me down and rationalize things to steer me in the right direction. The Giraffe Manor was simply amazing, the staff and the resort are a must do. The Chem Chem resort was by far the highlight, Amazing does not do this resort or the staff justice, Nomand Serengeti camp is a unique experience, and the white sand villas in Zanzibar are breathtaking. I could say Thank you a million times to Rose and Luxury Safari Company, but it just doesn't seem like it would be enough. I can honestly say you will NOT be disappointed booking a trip this way, you will be making a memory to cherish for a lifetime... Thank you again !!!!

Great tour of Uganda and Rwanda
5/5

I recently went on a 14 day fixed schedule tour of Uganda and Rwanda with Speke. At first I was a little nervous about choosing them as they are in Kampala and don't take credit cards (I'm from the USA). But I went ahead and reserved with them and I'm very glad I did. The itinerary was excellent - worthwhile destinations and just the right pace, not rushed and not too relaxed. It was an excellent value tour as well, being significantly less expensive than similar tours run by US and British agencies (the same itinerary staying at the same lodgings). Our guide Paul was superb - well informed, very organized, always attentive to the clients' needs and spoke flawless english. The hotels were more than adequate with clean, private bathrooms and decent food. Several were in outstanding, scenic locations. The wi-fi internet was often marginal, but I think this comes with the region. Overall, I would highly recommend Speke Uganda Holidays to western travellers.

Wonderful Bush Experience
5/5

I can say only good things about my safari with Ulinda in the Nxai Pan and Central Kalahari. Jane runs a very professional outfit with excellent staff to set up camp and cook delicious homemade meals. Even freshly hot homemade bread! The tents are spacious and comfortable. Our campsites were lovely, away from the public campgrounds, providing a real authentic bush feeling. And the vehicle with the pop-up roof was perfect for spotting and taking photos of the wildlife. Jane herself is a wonderful and interesting person who is a pleasure to be around. If you are a solo traveler and debating whether the single supplement is worth it to have a private safari, I encourage you to go for it! My experience this way was purely delightful.

Unforgettable Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar
5/5

Trekking Mount Kilimanjaro was quite a dream, visiting Lions and Elephants in Serengeti as well as refreshing my mind and my soul in Zanzibar was magical. What else can I say than congratulate Enosa Expeditions. A small company but with services beyond measure.
I initially approached several companies, they were all promising to give me best services, but I choose 'flexibility' that's why I and me and my wife went for Enosa Expeditions.
They were ready to accommodate any start day, any number of hikers, any route, any number of days, etc. And their prices were very reasonable! 80% cheaper than other companies which I tried to communicate with before. And I was not supposed to pay for other stuffs such as toilets, shower tents, etc. One other thing about this company is that it is owned locally by Tanzanians and they are real professionals, I do not think I could get that from other companies.
After exchanging a few e-mails with Noel (the co- owner), I just got a sense of comfort from him that I didn't get from others, and they proved to be very honest, trustworthy, and just all-around good guys.
They picked us at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and took us to a very comfortable hotel. And next day in the morning we started our journey. We did 7 days Marangu route. It was a very nice route, I think because we had good guides who taught us several Swahili words and even they taught us some Tanzanian card games. The rest of the crew always greeted us with friendly smiles and a "Jambo rafiki!" at the end of each long day of hiking. The each meal we took was absolutely amazing - some of the best meals we had in Tanzania. The whole team treated each other with utmost respect and it really felt like they were all close friends with each other.
After coming from Mount Kilimanjaro we went to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. We did two days camping safari in these amazing national parks. Tarangire is blessed with so many elephants and it was amazing to me.
After Mount Kilimanjaro and safari we went to Zanzibar for the purpose of refreshing our minds and it was a very nice trip to enjoy the sea breeze as well as it was my first time to eat ‘Zanzibar pizza’. As well as other Swahili foods like samosa.
Tanzania is so friendly and I would say Africa is a very beautiful continent as they are blessed to have things which other countries do not have.

To experience the best adventure of your lifetime you've to get the best&SafariCare is no exception
5/5

Our first experience with SafariCare was back in 2009 when we booked with them for our honeymoon adventure in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. They customized our trip to fit our budget and thewhole experience was simply Amazing and sensational. The name alone says it all 'Safari Care. They took care of every detail from our hotel accomodation to transportation all the way to arranging our lunch and snacks for the wild wild trip. Molel, our tour guide a friendly and funny fellow made it all worthwhile. He seemed to know alot about animals and their hideouts and where to find them making it even more adventurous. Even though it is a safari tour company, we were given a complimentary one day city tour of Arusha whch was very generous of them. We booked with them again last year in 2015 and we were a bigger group and yet there was no fault nor regret to having chosen them.

Fantastic tour company for your Ugandan safari
5/5

We arranged a 6-day safari with Katona to cover (some of) the highlights of Uganda: Bwindi for gorillas, Queen Elizabeth for lions and Kibale for chimpanzees. We couldn't have been happier with choosing Jackie and her guides as the trip exceeded even our quite high expectations.

Jackie was very helpful and super responsive in setting up the itinerary. She had perfect recommendations for where to stay (I would go back to any of the lodges in a heart beat) as well as what to do. Deposit and final payments were done as a bank transfer, which is common, and there were no problems.

Our guide, Richard, must be the most positive man on the planet! He's super friendly, nice to talk with, always making sure everything is well for us and - on top of that and perhaps most importantly - he was superb guide both in terms of explaining what we are seeing as well as arranging things you wouldn't expect to be possible. You know, like seeing a leopard in Queen Elizabeth from 10 meters for 15 minutes ("patience, it will come out of the bush and we are at the ringside").

I have only good things to say about Katona Tours and Travel. Highly recommended!

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

We booked a safari with It Started in Africa in May 2015 and finally made the 5-day journey over the New Year 2016. It was an incredible experience and everything was quite perfect.

The booking process was simple. Joao and his team presented the options and then I spent some time in comparing especially the various camps, testing my ideas with Joao. They are incredibly responsive and typically (of course not always) replied within minutes rather than hours.

The final outcome was perfect (Lake Manyara - Serengeti Central - Ndutu - Ngorongoro), a balance of the widest plains on the planet, lakes and forests. We stayed in lodges and the two Ang'ata camps were an experience of a lifetime. Our guide, Siloh, was very efficient in locating the big five and beyond.

I requested a quote for a similar safari from a few other companies and found ISiA to be very competitive in addition to having great customer service and, eventually, delivering a highly recommended safari!

Exceptional , breathtaking experience!
5/5

I went for 3 days Masai Mara camp trip and had an amazing time!
Nobody can beat their prices and service and you get exactly what you paid for and was promised.
I had one full day(!) game drive and it's unforgettable experience!
The accommodation, the camp, food was really surprisingly good for budget safari.
Special thanks for Naphtally, the guy is really hard working professional with high work standards, help and respect for clients. He picked me up himself at 4am to drop me to the airport, making sure I will be on time!
There can be delay with email communication, but consider it is african reality and sometimes they are not able to reach you right away.
You can go ahead and book the trip with them, your money is secure and you will get professional service and amazing time in Africa!
