Disrespectful persecution of the chimpanzee to get a picture
Overall rating
1/5

I was in the Park a few days ago and surprisingly, it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. More than 50 people (usually there are about 80), chasing and harassing an animal to get a photo with it. The security policy, the respect and the privacy on the part of the Rangers was zero: no distances kept, no masks on, no speaking in a low tone, no control over the crowds and running of people after the animal. Very disappointing, nothing respectful of the animals and absolutely nothing professional at all. They talk about training more families to split over humans and thus expand the number of visitors and, consequently, their economic income. I don't understand why a wild animal has to be trained to the presence of humans @s, with the simple purpose of photographing it and increasing the visits and income of the Park. They should manage it in a more controlled way and reduce the number of visitors per day. I do not recommend it at all. I give it a star because the website does not allow me to put zero.
I hardly believe that the only goal from the Park is to get as much income as possible no matter the treatment of animals in it.

Very beautiful peaceful place
Overall rating
5/5

The park is beautiful with a wide diversity of landscapes and animals. We saw a leopard and her cub before we even checked in at the lodge. Although at first captivated by the lions, the elephants quickly became my favorites and watching their behavior was endlessly entertaining. We saw all the Big Five over and over but never got tired of spotting something new. The Lodge itself was beautiful and we loved our Royal Suite where we could shower with a view of animals in the bush. The food was good and plentiful, it always seemed to be mealtime! The sunsets were dramatic and we even got to experience an earth-shaking thunder storm. We learned a lot from our tracker and guide, enjoyed mixing with other guests from all over the world, and completely fell in love with South Africa. We can recommend Kapama River Lodge to everyone. This was our first safari, but not our last!

Excellent organization and pre tour communication
5/5

The tour primarily consisted of an air safari to two upmarket lodges, one in the Namib desert and the other in a private reserve adjacent to Etosha national park. The tour went like clockwork and thoroughly met our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the meet and greet services provided by Peter Boer on our arrival and departure from Windhoek.

5/5

It was my first time in Namibia and I didn't know what to expect, but Peter Boer gave me a safe and good feeling right from the start. He is a very experienced guide, an excellent driver and nothing escapes his eyes. Even when something surprising happens he always has the situation under control. I would trust him with a newborn baby! I would book him again and again.

Unforgettable Safari and Impeccable Service with Gadiel from Good One Tours
5/5

Booking our safari tour with Good One Tours was an exceptional experience, thanks to Gadiel's impeccable service. Right from the outset, Gadiel was quick to respond, making the communication process a breeze, both through email and WhatsApp follow-ups. This ensured our booking process was not only smooth but also highly efficient.

As a photographer keen on capturing the spectacle of the Ndutu calving season, I had specific requirements in terms of itinerary, constrained by the limited number of days and budget. Gadiel showcased his ingenuity by organizing a shared tour of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and thoughtfully arranging a private tour on the last day in Ndutu to fulfill my photographic ambitions.

Gadiel's promptness stood out. He consistently provided updates and revised quotes, maintaining transparent communication regarding timelines and what to expect. His attention to detail made planning and budgeting for the trip straightforward and free of any hidden surprises.

Upon our arrival at the hotel in Arusha, Gadiel met us in person, which was a pleasant surprise. His local knowledge was invaluable; he assisted us in navigating the town, ensuring we were well-prepared for our adventure by helping with practical necessities such as money exchange and acquiring malaria pills.

The overall conclusion of our trip is that it was not just a tour but a journey made memorable by attentive care and excellent communication. Traveling with a friend, it was crucial that everything went smoothly, and Gadiel's dedication ensured that our trip was hassle-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Gadiel from Good One Tours for an exceptional safari experience tailored to personal preferences and needs.
