Julius is one of the most experienced, knowledgeable and friendly tour guides I've encountered
5/5

Amazing tour, definitely once in a lifetime experience! Julius was our tour operator and I highly recommend him. He's extremely experienced and knowledgable and I'd hire him in a heartbeat whenever I go back again.

This was my first safari that I went to and it totally blew my expectations. I almost got tired of seeing elephants and lions we saw so many (almost ;) ). The value for money is insane and very worth it. Overall we did the 3 day 2 night safari, and saw giraffes, elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, and all the ordinary herbivores in the area. Next time I'd love to see the other parks with rhino's.

I recommend doing the private tour if you can afford it, otherwise definitely recommend doing the shared tour with at least a jeep. The vans will have trouble navigating the park since theres a lot of spots cars can get stuck from the mud. We even got stuck a few times with a jeep, but thankfully the tour operators help each other out and we got out pretty quickly each time. We got stuck near a lion feeding and saw a lion pull on a the tug rope!

The tour operators also talk to each other to communicate where they saw each type of game, so you can be certain your probably not gonna miss out on much. If someone found a lion feeding, your tour operator will try to take you there.

Overall amazing experience and I'll be enjoying the memories from this safari for the rest of my life!

Adventure and fun
5/5

My family and I booked a 3-day safari with a guide in Spanish with the company Karibu safaris in Kenya and we couldn't have been luckier with the guide they assigned us. Dennis is an expert guide who speaks incredible Spanish and is super fun, on top of that he is a real Maasai! which helps a lot to understand his culture. 100% recommended

Exclusive and considered private safari
5/5

Decided to use Ways of Africa because Paul was very responsive and helpful in providing detailed info about the trip. Sammy, my personal tour guide was polite, competent and made me feel safe even I was a solo female traveler. I was fortunate to see all the big 5! Sammy worked hard to make sure that my experience was impeccable. He also listened to what I wanted. Some days I was so tired, I told him to go back from the safari to the lodge early, he was very cooperative and made sure that I felt comfortable. The Masai Mara was one of the best experiences in my life. Lake Nakuru was a bit too far and wasn’t as pleasant, so if you have limited time, Lake Nakuru is not required.

Petrus was amazing, super friendly and knowledgable! The park was also amazing, the only thing we didn’t get to see was any lions but otherwise it was well worth it! Also beautiful scenery the entire way!!

Eccellent! Great attention to details and warm people
5/5

Our Tanzanian safari was an unforgettable dream come true! Over 5 days, we explored Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire National parks, witnessing a breathtaking array of wildlife. The accommodations were superb, providing comfort and charm, while the daily warm-cooked meals were a delightful touch. Aidan, our guide, proved to be exceptional, always leading us to the most captivating scenes, from lions hunting buffalo to cheetha elephants and giraffes in action. Highly recommended for an awe-inspiring safari experience, and we can't wait to return soon!
Thank you Aidan for the unforgettable moments.

The whole experience was very pleasing and satisfactory, from booking to the actual journey incl. concierge support. The trip you suggested was well balanced (also for our budget) regarding accomodations offering a luxurious but unpretentious experience in Franschhoek/Quartier Francais, a more urban experience with great and very kind service in Cape Town/Home Suites Sea Point and, last but not least, an outstanding exprience at Klaserie Reserve/Camp George which was the highlight by far. Personally, this was my first safari and I couldn't have it imagined more entertaining, insightful and adventurous. We had a flight delay and you organized that we still managed to join ther very first game drive which was already spectacular. Generally, the game drives (especially due to our guide Jacques) were breathtaking and lots of fun, allowing us to discover the unique wilderness, beauty and sheer size and depth of Klaserie Reserve. We didn't just 'tick the Big 5 box', but learned a lot about different animals and species and also the needs and challenges for wildlife preservation. Game George/Simbavati was s superb accomodaton with kind, great service and delicious food (and drinks). The final dinner in the bush was the culinary highlight and will stick to our memories. Besides this, we also learned about the Camp's Story and the Founder's egagegmenet with charity (supporting local communities with education etc.) + lots of caring for it's own staff. This made the whole epxerience even better. All in all, this trip made an impact for us and we're more than happy to bock again with you.

Price and private circuit conditions respected for our trip as a couple
5/5

We studied, thanks to indications found on a forum and in a book, the 8-day circuit to discover 3 parks of North of Tanzania (Lake Manyara, Tarengire, Arusha) at our own pace (2 days of safari in each park) and have excellent comfort in the lodges that we had chosen. We showed Philippo Kimgoni our project and asked him for his price. Correct for us, especially compared with a price from a French agency. Phillipo proposed the contract by taking over our project perfectly. We took care of the plane tickets ourselves to travel with Qatar Airways from Toulouse and stopover in Doha, on the way out and back. Phillipo entrusted us to Edgar (guide) and Peta (driver), French speakers. And so we are delighted with this trip : we discovered all the possible animals, even a leopard. We appreciated taking the time because we noticed that it is good to do at least 2 days of safari in a park : each time, we discovered other animals, invisible the first time. Edgar and Peta had an eye for spotting animals ! Edgar constantly added lots of useful information about animals, plants, seasons... Concerning tipping, we opted to give it directly to some lodge or park staff who we identify as very helpful. For example, the one who cleaned the toilets in a park, the one who cleaned our room, the person who cooked our breakfast, or those who helped us with the luggage. Never the tip box at the reception because we doubt that it really benefits these employees. From 2500 to 10000 Tanzanian shilling depending on the quality and difficulty of the work. We were very happy with the service of the driver and guide: we gave $31 per day with them, each. A budget to plan.

Amazing Experience
5/5

We recently had an unforgettable safari with Kruger Safari Co. From the beginning Wayne simplified the process and made sure we had the safari that was right for us. On arrival Carol greeted us with staff and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I can't say enough about the staff at Kruger Safari Co. They are so welcoming, friendly, and attentive always there to make sure your needs are met. The food was exceptional for every meal. It was like dining three times a day at Michelin rated restaurants.
Victor our guide for the entirety of our 5-day, 4-night stay was delightful, knowledgeable, and passionate. Victor's expertise and understanding of the land, following tracks, and overall disposition made our time exceptional.

I cannot recommend Victor and the Kruger Safari Co highly enough for an unmatched safari that will leave you with cherished memories and a full heart to last a lifetime!

Really helpful and professional company. Would highly recommend them.
5/5

What a great company, from booking onwards they were so helpful and I would highly recommend them.
We used this company to book our 3 night safari to the masi mara. We were met at Nairobi airport and taken to our hotel.
We were then picked up in the morning by Duncan in the safari vehicle we were going to spend the next 3 days in and headed to the Masi Mara. Duncan our driver was an amazing guide and we felt very lucky to see so many animals. He was very organized and made the trip so easy and looked after us very well, right up until he dropped us off at the safari airport.
