Great Safari with Eastco
5/5

My wife and I did a 8 day safari with Eastco in Jan. of this year. The trip was excellent.
We had flown into Kilimanjaro International Airport, and after getting our visas we were taken to our Arusha hotel for the first night. The hotel was right in the middle of town so in the evening we walked around a bit and had a meal at a small Indian restaurant very quiet.
In the morning we were collected by our guide and so the safari started.
Tarangire for two nights staying at Boundary Hill Lodge, what can, we say beautiful views, rooms with a verandah overlooking the plains below and a toilet with a view. Elephants and giraffe were easily seen and in the mornings we could see some antelopes easily, thought they were waterbuck, but who knows.
After two nights here we then went to Ngorongoro and stayed at the wildlife lodge right on the rim again amazing views. The highlight here were the Rhinos seen in the afternoon.
Then followed the Serengeti staying in a tented camp, this camp was perfect after Ngorongoro. We stayed here for 4 nights and were able to catch the wildebeest migration in all its glory.
Cheetah and hyena were the highlight of this part of the trip.
The trip was well set up, guide extremely polite and well versed in both wildlife and idle chatter, this made the trip more interesting as we got a bit of an insight into his family and safari life.
The 4x 4 was well maintained and did the trip without a hitch.
All in all the safari was excellent and I would highly recommend this company.

Photo safari in Ngorongoro

After driving on the track, we reach overhanging the crater. It is about 20 kilometers in diameter, roughly the size of Paris and 610 meters deep. This crater millions of years is surrounded by walls of several hundred meters high.
Several springs flow along the sides to form Lake Magadi. One can find a yellow acacia forest (Lerai forest) where we can find elephants.
This crater is home to over 55 species, there are buffalo, wildebeest, gazelles, rhinos (very shy and difficult to observe), there are also lions, cheetahs, porcupines, etc.
The Maasai are allowed to come to graze their cattle, which is surreal, given the presence of cats.
An exceptional number of wildebeest (over 1 million) through this area during the annual migration and calves in the plains of Ngorongoro.
A natural phenomenon of a truly exceptional beauty.
To preserve this wonderful Garden of Eden, it is forbidden to build.
If you do a safari in Tanzania, the Ngonrongoro plan is a must.
The camera equipment used during my stay was two reflex enclosures, each equipped with a 70-200mm and a 100-400mm.
The guide who accompanied us had a piercing gaze , seeing the beasts hidden in the tall grass , or the rhinoceros safe.
The people are very welcoming , parks and reserves are all very clean.
The food is always very good and generously served.
Wherever we were , we found that the cleanliness was perfect and always professional and welcoming.

This country has retained a sense of hospitality. Tanzanian children are great and make you share their good mood. There is never a problem and do not know what you do to be very cozy .

About: Tanzania
It was incredible!

Just wanted to thank you for all your help and advice arranging our holiday in Tanzania. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return. The organization, attention to detail and personal service provided by Nagi Tours ensured that it was an incredibly special and memorable holiday for us. Gilbert and his team were second to none in their efforts to make us feel welcome and relaxed. He is an excellent guides and his knowledge of the area and the wildlife is exceptional.
I and my 2 friends decided to use Nagi Tours for our Kilimanjaro climb 6 days via Machame route and following 5days budget camping safari for one major reason, the dedication to the experience.
Climbing Kilimanjaro was one of toughest things for us. The guides were phenomenal and were always there to make sure we could do it. From the food, to the encouragement, and the knowledge of the wildlife, flora, and fauna, everything about it was incredibly high quality. Not only did they make sure we made it to the summit of the mountain, but they made sure we got there feeling as best as we could, and we learned so much.
The 5 day budget camping Safari through the Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP and the Ngorongoro crater and everything went perfect. We did a 1 day trip to Lake Manyara, then spent 3 nights at the Serengeti national park and finished at the Ngorongoro crater on our way back to Arusha. We stayed in tent all 4 nights / 5days and were great! So Spacious and Comfortable. Our safari cook Patrick gave us every delicious food ever and our driver guide, Robert, had a lot of experience and knowledge, he knew all the birds and other small animals. We really liked him, and we were very lucky because we had the chance to see the big five, which, as he told us, may not be very easy.
The overall experience was an incredible; we loved the safari and loved our safari chef and driver guide. The company matched our expectations, which were very high, since it was the trip of our dreams. (Gilbert Robert) was very helpful, always helping us and answering our questions and concerns.
We highly recommend this company, especially for the great value they have for nature and people.
Thanks you and pole-pole in Africa!

The perfect safari experience, expertly arranged.
5/5

Magda planned out our itinerary and it was an amazing experience! Our driver, Abraham, was wonderful and a very careful driver and knowledgeable. The camps and lodges were all very special with all the amenities and terrific staff. The meals were also very good. We saw countless animals in the endless plains of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro including the "big five" . It was an unforgettable trip. The hotel in Zanzibar , the Blue Oyster, was lovely and the staff very friendly. It was a nice way to wind down the trip and relax on an amazingly beach. Exploring exotic Stone Town was fascinating and our hotel there, the Zanzibar Coffee House, was first rate.

An excellent tour company
5/5

We used Safari Bookings when we searched for tour operators with office in Uganda and who had budget tours. We contacted 40-50 of them but we decided that only a handful of them were of interest to us. We wanted a reliable company with membership in AUTO, active on Facebook with many likes, which also had a good webpage and a lot of good reviews on TripAdvisor. Two of the companies gave us good prices, Mamaland Safaris was one of them. We decided to use Mamaland Safaris since they were a little cheaper. We are from Sweden and we found out that Anna, the owner's wife who we had been in contact with, was also from Sweden which was very reassuring. Another reason to why we selected Mamaland Safaris was that we didn't have to send the safari payment from Sweden for the 3-days Murchison Falls safari since it was a budget safari. We could pay when we arrived to Uganda a couple of weeks before the safari started.

We booked a budget safari which didn't include an air-conditioned car, we maybe had to spend the first night in a lodge-tent and the last night we should sleep in a dormitory. Anna told us however that she would try, if possible, to get us a safari car with air-conditioned and a cottage the first night. We ended up with a really luxury safari. We got an air-conditioned car. Our guide and driver, called Richard, was very nice. He had been working as a guide during 11 years and spoke very good English. We spent the first night in a lovely, and in our opinion very luxury lodge, called Heritage Safari lodge. We should sleep in a dorm at Budongo Eco Lodge the last night but we were the only people who spent that night there so we probably got their best cottage instead. Everything was so good.

Our guide, Richard, fetched us at our hotel in Kampala early in the morning the first safari day. The first thing he told us was that his wife had given birth to a girl that night. He couldn't be with her since he had to be with us three days. That is a really reliable guide, don't you agree!

Richard gave us a really lovely and unforgettable safari. The first day he parked the car five meters from seven lions which rested in the shadow of a small tree and that was only the beginning of our perfect safari.

We of course really recommend Mamaland Safaris and we would use them again if we return. I better say when we return since Uganda is a very lovely country.

Youth Adventures and Safaris: Kilimajaro - Safari - Beach
5/5

My friend and I did a 2 ½ weeks travel of extremes to Tanzania: extreme bodyworkout, extreme amount of animals, extreme paradise and extremely nice people. What else do you search in live.

We started our adventure with Youth Adventures and Safaris – the best agency in Tanzania- I would warmly recommend to contact them in order to help you organize your trip. They were very responsive and informative when planning the trip and offered a great package with best services and fair prices. Godfrey is a great young guy - being the face and personality behind the company. We enjoyed his high professionality big heart and great personality making us feel welcome and home from the first second on.

We first started with our Kilimanjaro climb; challenging our physical and mental capacities. We decided on the 7 day Lemocho route. Before starting our mountain adventure we had an equipment check and briefing for our climb at Godfrey’s office in Moshi. We were surprised when a car with 12 men picked us up the next day. We had two guides (John and Anderson), a cook (great food), a toilet man (what a nice surprise), a waiter and 7 porters. The climb has been an amazing experience nobody should miss in their lives. The crew has been amazingly professional and great people helping us not only to reach Uhuru Peak!!! but also being the best company during this week – being supportive in every situation and being natural and positive on an interpersonal level too!

After our great success we went on a 4 day camping safari, visiting Tarangire National Part, Sernegeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We have seen a huge amount and variety of wild animals – including the big 5. We enjoyed the car drive, our group of amazing people and the unique landscape.

Just after that experience we decided to spend a couple of days at the beach too. The company Youth Adventures and Safaris has been very flexible and easy going and organized an amazing trip to the beach – to Pangani – the paradise beach – representing the luxury part of our trip.

We would like to thank Youth Adventures and Safaris – Godfrey and his team – for making our trip and experience not only unique and fascinating but also warm and personal!
