Amazing 3-day Safari!
5/5

We highly recommend to stay in Sakina Campsite and to book your trip with Oltumure Tours & Safaris. Robert was a great host even though we arrived without reservation. He spontaneously organized a fun and exciting Safari trip for us in Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara National Parks. Our guide Victor was never tired explaining us the amazing wildlife and our cook Moses treated us with great food after the long days in the parks. Asante sana!

8 Day Lemosho Route with Kilimanjaro Brothers
5/5

I climbed Kili with Kilimanjaro Brothers in Aug 2014. I had communicated with 15+ Kili operators over six months before contacting George Mtaki. My criteria was:

1) To support a local operator directly (instead of going through an agent who would take a cut)
2) To find an operator who would provide daily health checks, carry bottled oxygen, a phone for emergency communication, and a portable toilet
3) A competitive rate (not the lowest)
4) Someone I could trust to organize the climb for me

As a highly-detailed trip planner, I felt comfortable communicating with George. He responded to my questions patiently and promptly without pressuring me to sign up with him.

Most importantly, George delivered everything we agreed on. He personally welcomed us when we arrived and provided us with a dedicated, professional team to take care of us on the mountain. Good equipment, good food. Our guides Gabriel and Priscus were attentive to our needs, comfort and safety (particularly when we exhibited signs of altitude sickness). I had difficulty breathing on the way down from the summit and am grateful to the team for their care. Gabriel carried me on his back for part of the way, then supported me till I made it back to camp.

I highly recommend Kilimanjaro brothers and am happy to answer more detailed questions if you are considering the climb. Thanks George, Gabriel and Priscus for the adventure!

About: Go2Africa
Rikke was great to work with!
5/5

This was our first safari trip, and I decided to go with Go2Africa. Working with Rikke was a great experience. She was very helpful, and answered tons of questions that we had (some repeatedly). She worked with our custom needs and budgets. On top of all this, our Safari/CapeTown trip was excellent! We stayed at Elephants Plain Lodge and Thorny Bush Main Lodge for Safari's, which were EXCELLENT!! Then in CapeTown we stayed at Walden House which was OK. I wasn't too delighted with their service.

fun and excitement
5/5

We have been on a number of trips with Best Camping Tours and Safaris and really enjoy them. All staff are so helpful, professional and friendly, and eager to please. Nothing is too much for them. Accommodation is always clean and suitable, lodges and sites are excellent, meals are more than adequate and of very fine standards.
We always see plenty of game...often animals that others miss. It is never rushed and there is always plenty of time for photos and just looking.
All is so professional, yet friendly and relaxed. We certainly recommend this company to both seasoned safari goers and to novices

Afroriginal Tours and Safaris
5/5

I have just returned from a 5 day safari with Afroiginal, Aug 2014 from arusha- lake manyra- Serengeti - ngoragoro crater - arusha for 2 people. Our driver/guide Fay was great, he knew so much about the country, environment and animals, he made us feel we were in safe hands the whole time. Fay has an amazing eye for spotting animals and his passion for his work was obvious.
We took the mid range option, staying in reasonable hotels and luxury tents which were all great. Food supplied was also fine.
My only criticisms would be not to take the night game drive as we didn't see much, although the experience was still good and also the time spent in the Serengeti- they are long days of very similar landscape (we were there 2 nights, 3 days). Although we were in the Serengeti and it was still amazing, it could have been improved by knowing where we were on the map and how far we were to travel to that day, although we could have asked, this was an after thought and we enjoyed the time regardless.

Arrangements were made via email with Desiriee who was very helpful, accommodative and gave great advice.

Overall, I would gladly recommend Afroiginal to anyone.

Two week safari with a small private group of friends.
5/5

Supportive and knowledgeable tour guides who showed us many beautiful places, animals and birds. Their ability to spot and identify was amazing. Our accommodation was varied and included lodges and camping grounds. All offered something unique, great food and a closeness to the local people. We always felt safe and secure and would recommend Best Camping Tours to everyone.

Wonderful Wild Africa
5/5

From my very first call to Wild Africa, I new they would be brilliant. I was looking for a trip that covered - KENYA, TANZANIA & RWANDA. Initially an acceptable request, until I told them I wanted to leave within the next 7 Days.

Robert was extremely knowledgeable, personable and really listened to what we wanted. He immediately discussed great options with me & he knew the companies and people I would be travelling with personally, this gave me great comfort and confidence. For somewhere like Africa you need to know that you are in good hands & Robert at Wild Africa really did reassure me that we would be in good hands and also cover everything we needed. He put together a couple of options that worked together within our budget and time frame. I was delighted that he did all of this for me. I work in the industry and could not have done this as efficiently, as cost effective or as confidently as Robert. I gave Robert 1 week to organise a trip that normally people take a year to plan for. He absolutely came to the party with the urgency I needed to get the holiday I wanted.
Whilst overseas my husband got ill. The tour company personally escorted and stayed with us at all times to make sure we felt comfortable and got looked after. The first phone call we got via the tour guide was Robert to check what was happening and how he could help to make sure we had the rest of our trip sorted or changed, that was by far the best surprise and so helpful for me as I was preoccupied with my husbands condition and doctors. He was outstanding. I will be using Wild Africa for any future trips they cater for. Without a doubt an amazing travel experience - Im so glad I used an expert. Thanks Robert.

Maximum exposure, excellent service, best driver/guide, incredible experience
5/5

Form day one the office understood our needs and tailored an excellent trip. The total cost was affordable and well spend. The hotels were carefully selected to accommodate 3 adults in a room. Food was good. Safari vehicle was tops and the animals sightings incredible. The only disappointment was the pricey balloon safari which lasted 25min in the air flying over a burnt field with no animals. All in all another 2 nights in the Serengeti and a 3 night Masai Mara trip added would win gold. Thanks to World Air Travel.

Family safari
5/5

My husband and I waited for some years for our grils to grow up a little bit and to start travelling a little more again. So for our first holiday together with a 6 and 8 year old girls we had a lot of expectations, bit also fears and questions. Nataša from Shadows of Africa really made a difference. She did not just arranged the safari that was ok for children and still very interesting for us, and get us the perfect guide and person Tim, but arranged our whole holiday. We went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Olpopongi masai village and Zanzibar; Stone town and Kendwa beach. She booked all the right hotels for us and got us plane tickets and all transfers so we had no worries at all. All we had to do was enjoy! And we did, very much. I highly recomend them!
