Safari
5/5

This crew of Twaha and Remy are top notch. They know the area and the where to find the animals! We had our heads on swivels the entire time! Not only do they get you up and close to the wildlife, their extensive knowledge of the animals is amazing. They know the most amazing facts about all the wildlife, from the birds and insects to the elephants and giraffe.
I have been on safari with this group twice and was not let down on either trip. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Experience for the Entire Group!
5/5

I take mission teams to Uganda a couple of times a year. At the end of the trip, we visit Murchison Falls National Park for 2 nights with Wild Jungle Trails; every single time it is an awesome experience! Pre-trip information has been great and thorough; it is nice to know Twaha is taking care of everything for us. Their game drives always surpass our expectations; yet I know our safety and comfort is always important to the staff. The cost is very competitive - and you walk away with new freinds! Two thumbs up for these guys! If you're considering using them for a trip in Uganda, don't hesitate!

Always greeted with smiles, the best vacation experience I've ever had!
5/5

What an amazing experience. The entire trip was well planned. We went on 2 game drives, a boat tour and visited the top of the falls. We were never rushed through anything and the drivers did their best to get us close to the animals without putting us in danger. I would highly recommend this company.

The most exciting holiday I have ever experienced.
5/5

From the beginning to the end there were nothing to complain about this tour, food was fantastic, the driver tried hard to search and take us see the difficult to see animals.I was a bit worried about the camp with tent but it was awesome! The staff was so attentive all the time, inside the tent were neat and had enough sleep there and moreover we saw quite few animals and family elephants !

The vehicle was very comfortable with plenty of water.
Nothing to worry about for all.

It was really an amazing trip!Thank you for all your service!

A great and reliable tour operator
5/5

We just came back form a eastern safari tour with Regional Tours, Zanzibar.

Everything worked out perfectly. The tour operator manager Maturaf is very nice and helped us even in other area of his business. The guide Edmond was fantastic and full of attention. He was always on time, taking care of us, driving smoothly on bumpy roads after lunch. It has done everything possible to satisfy us and help us to see the Big 5. And we did ! The first day, at Ngorongoro crater, we saw a leopard ! And a family of lions lying around in the Serengeti national Park. Not mention about elephants, rhino and buffalos.

The stay at Zanzibar, The Z Hotel is a heaven after the safaris !

Last but not least, Regional Tours is the most competitive company we have seen on the web.

I can only recommend it

An excellent tour company
5/5

We used Safari Bookings when we searched for tour operators with office in Uganda and who had budget tours. We contacted 40-50 of them and Karumuna Safaris gave us the best offer. The company had some good reviews and a good web page but you never knew how reliable the companies are on Safari Bookings.
We were however very lucky and got a fantastic 7-days safari with a good guide/driver, Ashadu, who spoke perfect English.

We also got to know Richard Kisembo, the owner of Karumuna Safaris, who is really nice. Richard did many extra things for us which we appreciated very much. They were not included in our itinerary. He, and his family, invited us to a dance show before the safari. He transferred us between two hotels in Kampala free of charge. He came to our hotel after the safari and wondered how it had been and then he also gave us two t-shirts. He drove us from Kampala to a hotel in Entebbe. We only had to pay for the petrol. It was good to know that he care for his customers not only during the safaris. I am sure that he would have helped us if something would have happened to us in Kampala.

We really recommend Karumuna Safaris. They have three safari cars beside at least an ordinary car used for transferring customers between hotels and to/from the airport. They have around 10 guides. Almost all guides in Uganda are so called ”free lancers”. They prefer to get paid when they are contracted since they don’t get much if they get paid monthly. Richard informed us that Karumuna Safaris will most likely be a member of Association of Uganda Tour Operators ( AUTO ) during 2016. It cost 100.000 Ush and it has a yearly fee of 300 USD if I remember correct.

We would of course use Karumuna Safaris again if we return. I better say when we return since Uganda is a very lovely country.

Safari with Eastco
5/5

had fantastic holiday with Eastco they were recommend by a family member who travelled with them in 2014. I went in November last year and saw the main parks, Serengeti Ngorongoro and Tarangire.

Am a student so the discounts offered by Eastco made the trip really affordable, We camped in most of the parks except Tarangire where we stayed at Boundary Hill Lodge, awesome lodge with great views. I spent 3 days in Zanzibar at the end, which was amazing!!. Stayed at the Boabab resort right on the beach, great atmosphere.

Highly recommend.

Unforgettable safari !
5/5

Me and my friend (Oren Paka-Paka ) went on a private safari with David Maro a few weeks ago. David was recommended to us and It has been the best advice I have been given for a long long time!
David is a wonderful person and a great guide. He is very knowledgable and always the first one to spot the animals and anticipate their moves. Being with David on a safari for almost 2 weeks was a pleasure and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely call David again the next time I go to Africa. He made the Safari a memorable and safe experience. Highly recommended!

The real thing, wild wildlife
Overall rating
5/5

We were 5 pers. going together on a gamedrive for one day arranged by "Along the River Camp". We were in an open LandRover from "Selous River Camp" with with an excelent driver and a trained guide. For me Selous is a fantastic place where You get very close to the wild nature without driving in a long row of cars. We met only two other cars this day so You really get the feeling of being in the middle of the wild-wild nature. I have been to the Reserve three times, and each time You a get different experience. This time we were fortunate to see the lions at close range and we surprised an elephant with a 3 days old baby, who tried to scare us off. Amazing. I believe Selous is the least spoiled game reserve, with fewer tourists than the renouned Serengeti, Ngorongoro but that is the essence of the visit. You only get to see a small part of one the worlds biggest nature reserves, but You are left with a very special feeling of being close to the real thing.
