Superb safari and service
We had a 6 day safari in Uganda arranged by Ben Tinsley at East African Discovery in late November 2016. It exceeded all expectations for value for money, accommodation, variety of scenery and sights, and quality of the driver/guide. We have traveled extensively including in other parts of East Africa. Uganda is truly special. We appreciated that the company is locally owned, with excellent local intelligence and experience in the tourism and game tracking fields in Uganda. We liked that the company is small, offering bespoke safaris rather than off-the-shelf itineraries. Ben responded to all queries and requests promptly during the planning stage and no question was too silly to ask. Our driver/guide was prompt, organised, informative, and friendly - he had grown up in a part of the country that we visited so his local knowledge was particularly good. The chimpanzee and gorilla tracking were experiences of a lifetime. Everything went off without a hitch. The pricing of EAD was considerably better than that offered for similar safaris by the larger outfits. We would recommend EAD without reservation.

Simply unforgettable ...!!
We are just back from a Safari trip in Tanzania planned and organized with Savannah Explorers.
This was our 6th trip to Africa, but This One has been one of the best experience we had among our trips even if, also all the others have been amazing. Thanks to Roberto and his staff everything was simply perfect, from the arrangements during booking stage,(quick and prompt replies, help to organize our safari following our requests and needs) flights, lodges, ( the Kati Kati tended Camp at Serengeti is an experience to be lived ) the jeep, everything perfectly organized. But our main Thanks goes to the driver/guide who was really exceptional!! Peter was so professional, so prepared, so nice. He made our staying simply a dream that became true.He did whatever possible to make our trip the best as possible. We saw all the Big Five...and many of them!!! When we arrived I expressed to Peter my wish to see the "lion cubs/ puppies " and he did the impossible to realize my dream : we saw 18 little cubs with Mums and Dads that I will never forget! So, to make it short, we highly recommend Savannah Explorers for a Safari in Tanzania...(we are already planning our next one) Thanks Roberto, Floriana and Peter ! Hopefully we will be in touch again soonest for another marvelous experience in the wonderful Tanzania. We will keep this experience in our minds and in our hearts for a long time ....and only another similar experience will be able to renew the feelings and the emotions we had recently. Incredible Experience. Face-to-Face with the Mountain Gorillas of Uganda
Visiting the Mountain Gorillas may just be a once in lifetime experience and to have it so well organized & pleasant made it a very very special trip. The opportunity to come within a few feet of the gorillas in a safe and relaxed manner is something I'll always remember.
From the start, Justus was so responsive and made it seem so easy to come up with a perfect trip for on the short notice I gave him. He responded to each of my emails so fast & in such a thorough way that the trip was planned and scheduled in record time. My group received the best attention from our professional guide and driver, Jimmy. Jimmy is a pure delight! He is such a gentlemen and really seems to be so happy in creating a safe and fun environment for his guests. He has such a keen eye and was to quick to point out all the amazing creatures big and small.

Best African experience a native South African could ever ask for!!!
From the first moment until us saying goodbye it was one amazing experience after the next! If a local South African enjoyed this tour sooo much i can imagine how much international clients must enjoy it! From the word go every thing was planned in great detail and ran smoothly! Belinda always made sure that all our needs were met and that we had the Best experiences possible! From great animal sightings to mindblowing beautiful Nature scenes! Nice experience in Mikumi
We booked the 3 days Mikumi safari and had a great experience. Contact and communication with Norbert was excellent prior to the safari start and we got picked up as promised and on time. The driver/guide drove carefully, planned in for enough toilet breaks on the way.
The game drives were absolutely great, and we saw all you can possibly see in Mikumi. Our guide Otto did a good mix of driving and breaks and explications (and adapted very fast onto what we wanted to see in particular) and he did always respect "good practice for wildlife tourism" (we saw many exemples of guides in the park who didn't and chased the animals with the cars). Otto was very knowledgeable, answered to all questions, but was sometimes a bit too quiet and sparing of words during explications (but still better than someone trying to entertain you non-stop).
Food was perfectly organised: my friend and I were worried about prepared lunch packages since we have both special diet requirements, but we always stopped at restaurants and we were able to choose from the menu - especially the stop at the lodge in the park sitting close to a water source and watching the animals, was amazing.
Overall we had a great experience and can recommend to the fullest going with Selous Explorer.

Highly Recommend
My boyfriend and I embarked on a five-day safari booked through Safari Multiways. Our guide Kappia was very knowledgeable and great about managing our expectations (which were more often than not exceeded!) Our first day in the Serengeti we saw the Big 5 before noon (although the rhino only from a great distance.) Kappia even spotted a serval lying down in tall grass while driving. The accommodations ranged from good to great. Overall we were very happy with the trip.

Amazing Trip
We had an amazing trip with African Wildcats Expeditions! We've seen all the big Nationalparks in Tanzania and camped inside the parks. John, our tour guide, had a big knowledge of the animals and the rest of the nature. We felt safe at all times, also when buffalos and hyenas were next to our tent. Our cook was absolutely amazing (ask for Anold). The whole organization prior the tour as well as during the tour was great. I would definitely recommend this tour operator to everybody!
