Excellent experience with knowledgable guide!
We recently visited Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli with them on a private safari for two. The vehicle (landcruiser) and guide provided were excellent. Noah is so quick to respond and was so catering to every little query I had which was what first attracted me to hiring them. Our driver and guide Eustace was very experinced and a bag of fun! Ours was a very last minute trip inspite of which they booked decent places and made sure everything was perfect. i will definetely plan my next tour to east Africa with them!

Excellent Safari
As a group of two travelers, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5-day tour of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Kilimanjaro in January 2016. The itinerary was very carefully planned by RA, and we have wonderful things to say about everyone who organized it. Our guide/driver Amani was terrific, and our cook Dale was equally awesome. In fact, the delicious food was probably the most surprising part of the trip!

Great 4 day safari experience!
We came in contact with Mr. Shabani through one of his contacts at the African Café in Arusha. He sat down with us to discuss our ideas and expectations. We agreed upon a $600 p.p. 4-day trip to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire Ntl. Park. We were happy with this price and feel like we wouldn't have been able to find a different/cheaper safari with the same amount of service. We insisted upon a trip with maximum two other persons. In the end we were very happy not to be in a car with more people. Right away we met with Joseph, a happy and experienced driver and guide, who really contributed to our trip. We had some great conversations together. Joseph's upbeat spirit added a lot to the four days. He was an expert on wildlife and able to spot the most amazing animals. He was also able to offer us valuable information as well as local culture and customs. Cook Paul was very friendly as well, preparing all of our meals.
There was one disappointment though: one of the other girls in the car was unable to pay the fee up front for the Parks to the tour company. This meant that we lost a huge amount of time by trying to get money from the banks along the way and having to stand in line at the Park gates because of her financial incompetence. We feel like we were duped by the company's decision to let her come along on the trip when she was clearly unable to get money out in Arusha, let alone along the way to the Parks.
We would like to recommend African Travel Tours, and especially guide Joseph. We were happy with both the service and the price. Make sure to discuss your expectations beforehand.

Heartwarming glimpse of Ugandan life lead by a professional team
From start to finish Makote tours were extremely professional in their approach with quick and efficient communications. The tour was mind blowing ,way above our expectations. A large part of this was due to our excellent guide / driver Anatoli. I have never met someone so passionate about his country. His scope of knowledge was vast and we learnt so much from him everyday ( including his love of a good goat stew). He really made the tour so special and we feel privalaged that we were lucky enough to spend almost 2 weeks in his company, what a great person.
Thanks must also go to Lionel and his team back at the office who handled every aspect of the tour so well.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company who wishes to see the real Uganda.

A fantastic experience, shared with a terrific guide/driver and a talented chef!
We spent 4 days in Serengeti and had an amazing time, made all the better by our driver and chef that we had guiding us.
Would, and have, recommend to anyone looking to do something similar - excellent all round.

KM Safaris Kenya gave us a truly unique experience during our visit in April – May ’15. We always felt in safe hands, were treated very professionally and the team is highly experienced with lots of local knowledge about Kenya and African culture and traditions, which makes the travel experience very special. Kirstine & Martin (owners) are friendly and kind and always willing to go that extra mile for their customers, explain things, change things etc. The fact that it’s a small family run business makes you feel more like family/friends than a customer and – I believe – the general service level higher. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We are just from a trip to Africa, Kenya and all what we have and will remain in our memories are good experiences .VNT gave us the beast deal for a 10 days Masai Mara ,Lake Nakura,Samburu and Amboseli. We were on budget and we really needed an operator who is flexible. We enjoyed every bit of the time were in Kenya. We had a very experienced guide, Peter, who with no doubt knew the information we needed. The whole management was awesome and well-coordinated. I would recommend everyone who is looking for a budget company, to book with VNT as they are professional and their tours are pocket friendly.

Family safari
We went for a holiday with the whole family (2 parents and 5 children) and we had the time of our lives!
We started at Dar-Es-Salaam and made a trip past various parks in the south of Tanzania, like Selous, Ruaha, and Mikumi. We were stunned by the breathtaking views along the way. Tanzania is such a beautiful country with nice white beaches, impressive mountains and most important, very kind people. Everything was planned, so we could sit back, relax and enjoy our time in Tanzania.
Modest was our guide and he told us everything about the areas we crossed. He taught us a few things about the nature and wildlife of the different parks, he showed us 4 of the big 5 and he made us laugh a lot because he is a really funny guy.
If you want a nice, relaxing holiday with some very interesting experiences and with everything well cared for, I would recommend this company. I'm sure you will have a wonderful holiday!
Ladies on Adventure
We arrived in the still of the night one warm September evening, the welcome was warm and the stay at the lodge was very pleasant. Learning first hand about the cultures, tastes and life style of the beautiful Masai people is a lesson I will treasure all my life. Enjoyed spending the day with wildlife and the migration of the wildebeest was an amazing experience!!
