Excellent gorilla safari
5/5

I arranged our 4 day gorilla safaris or 7 people over the Internet via their website. Our guide Bosco was excellent. He was waiting at the airport for us as promised. His vehicle was excellent and he was always punctual.
The service was excellent throughout the safari and I would book with Umubano Tours if I were to return to Rwanda.
At the end of our tour my daughter left her trip journal in the Land Rover when we said good bye to Bosco at the airport. I assumed that we would never see it again but Bosco found it in the vehicle and rushed back to the airport to return it to us just before our flight departed. Needless to say she was overjoyed.

Trip of a life time
5/5

We did a 7 day private safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Parks, Tanzania. I can't recommend Wildebeest Safaris and our guide Hamza more highly. We saw so many animals it was incredible and Hamza was very knowledgeable about everything. Overall the safari lived up to our expectations and more, just wish we could do it all over again! The choice of accomodation was pretty good especially the Ngorongoro Wilderness Lodge, we didn't a choose luxury safari so the accomodation meet our expectations.

where do i start?
Lets start at the beginning, left our camp which was located just about 7 km from the gate at around 6 in the morning in a land rover puma and a toyota, it was a huge squad of about 20 people.
at the gate, we meet the rangers in charge of collecting the entrance fees, the guys where awesome and kind, they even gave us a heads up on where to find what.

this time we didn't sleep in the national park, but there are so many options on different pricing if your interested, the cheapest are the government open campsites and the national parks hostels, where food can be bought at the rangers village inside the park or make your own food:)

the weather on the day was extremely hot "but what did we expect?? we were in the rift valley anyways it was bound to be hot" but later in the day it started raining just as we stopped for our lunch at one of the parks picnic sites.

the scenery was out of this world, the dry mwagusi river turned out to be an awesome animal spotting ground, and the greenery of the park did the landscape justice

we didn't have a guide, just a group of youngies. but we stopped all then guides in the other cars and they where very helpful and showed us all the places where we found leopards and lions and buffalos and crocs and hippos.

we saw so many animals families upon families of elephants, so many antelopes and impalas and kudus and jackals and pumbas and timons, zebras, baboons, so many different birds, squirrels, giraffes, and many more, and the wild flowers there are just beautiful.

the highlight of our trip is when a ranging male elephant chased one of our cars i was in the car behind just looking at the action i forgot to even film haha. and ruaha elephants are known to be one of the largest in east africa (after the ngorongoro and tarangire ones).

all in all i would do this again. i had a fantastic time, hope you have fun visiting ruaha :)

Tanzania has so much to offer, diversity, vast culture, wildlife, exotic landscapes, beautiful sunset ,best beaches, mountains you name it. if ever you were dreaming about an african safari tanzania is the it place. this beautiful country will welcome you and show you all the beauty it has to offer. i have been around the country and there is not a place i wouldn't visit again, the people are welcoming and the culture is interesting, nature is beautiful here especially in the rainy season when the country is so green that just the site of the mountains and the plains takes your breath away. can't even begin with the wildlife, Tanzania has a lot of national parks and game reserve to mention some of the popular ones (serengeti, ngorongoro, tarangire, manyara, ruaha, mkomazi, sadaani, mikumi, kilimanjaro, selous.) and many more, here you will see so many species of birds, fish, mammals ,insects, reptiles and amphibians and not to forget the beautiful beautiful

Excellent service, extremely helpful, warm and friendly staff, competitive price
5/5

I came across East Africa Shuttles and Safaris online when I was trying to book some tickets for the train from Mombasa to Nairobi. Some reviews describe it as the best rated and reliable agency to buy train tickets from. And it turned out very much so. Booking tickets and confirmation by email was very easy. With this good experience I went on and booked bus tickets Nairobi to Arusha from them. Leonard delivered the tickets personally to us in Nairobi because we were having trouble finding his office. As soon as he got to know that we were having trouble buying a local SIM card he offered to help although he could just walk away. Thanks to him we finally solved the problem. Finding a reliable taxi in Nairobi could be difficult but with with his help we always got taxi drivers organized in advance at very good price. Also Leonard was very helpful in organizing a safari for us at competitive price although eventually we had to skip it and I still feel awfully sorry about that. In general, this is a very professional, reliable and helpful company, not only for safari but in almost everything when it comes to traveling in Africa. Knowing a good agency will make your life so much easier and your trip so much more relaxing. That's why I'm very happy to know this company and will definitely recommend it to anybody I know.

Reliable and Excellent
5/5

We heard of Baboon Budget Safaris by bumping into Bill in the Central Business District of Nairobi on a quiet Saturday. We had not planned any safari tour and Bill talked us into walking to their offices nearby. There, we met the rest of the staff who were very cordial. We ended up booking our tour and Michael scheduled for an early pick-up at our hotel. The tour was awesome!!! We loved every minute of it. The driver was an expert tour guide and we also loved the fact that it was extremely affordable! We appreciate their service, and Bill for stopping us in the middle of the street, even though it seemed a bit sketchy at that time. Thank you Bill for stopping us, you made our stay in Nairobi unforgettable!

Asante sana!

Great safari experiences in Masai Mara and Ol-Pejeta
5/5

We had amazing 3-day safari in Masai Mara with super-guide Joseph. We saw lot´s of animals, for example four of the Big Five. Stayed at Basecamp which was also nice experience as we slept in a tent and that is really the way of experiencing nights of Africa. Didn´t get enough of animals and ordered one more safari day in Oj-Pejeta where we finally completed The Big Five. We can warmly recommend East Africa Safaris. Great customer service and professional work. Thank you for unforgettable experience in Kenya.

Awesome experience with life time memories
5/5

Had an amazing vacation both in Mombasa and at the Mara Sarova organised by Pamela and her team. The commucation was excellent, checking out that we were fine throughout. Mombasa was great as known "Mombasa raha". The Mara safari was superb and had a fab time with Mr Livingston, who enabled us see different animal species. We will definitely return and have my trip organised by Magical retreats.

Best time ever!!
5/5

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience with the Best Day Safari. The contact was made directly with the owner, Peter, he always answered our questions with great care and kindness. When we arrived in Arusha, he was keen to get to know each other and explain how our safari would be in the coming days. The car´s company was great, our driver very polite and nice, he knew everything about animals. The places we stayed were very good too. When we got back from safari, Peter went to see us again to get our safari feedback. We really recommend the company, we were very happy with their service.

6 days - mikumi and ruaha
4/5

Before we booked our safari we gained a lot of advice from Chabo. We didn't know exactly where to go.
Their advice helped us a lot and we were able to arrange a suitable safari straight from the Airport.
Modest is a very nice guy, with lots of jokes. Very good to have on your safari. He spotted a lot of animals with his so called 'eagle eye'. The accomodations where we staid were good.
I would recomment Chabo to everyone who wants a safari fit to their needs.
