A perfect balance between comfort and wildlife
5/5

We signed up for the 3 night Tsavo/Amboseli group safari as we're not really experienced campers or wildlife lovers. We immidiately were contacted by Moureen, who very service minded and interested in fulfilling our expectations in the best possible way. The communication was smooth and swift, and Moureen arranged the safari driver to to pick us and drop us off up at our hotel in a timely manor.
The final payment procedures were taken care of on the first day of the safari, which was conveniently made by credit card.
The one thing you need to be prepared for is the long drive before you get to the parks though! The roads are not the best, but we never felt unsafe. The safari truck was an 8 seat mini van with moveable roof - perfect for animal watching. Our driver, Daniel, a local Masai, had been in the business for 25 years and knew all the potholes in the roads, where the animals are, and the people for VIP treatment very well.
The parks were incredible, everything was exactly as you'd imagine from the Disney movie The Lion King. The safari game drives take place in the early mornings and late afternoons for better chances to see moving animals - and we saw a lot of them in both sunrises and sunsets.
The lodges where we stayed were nice and cosy, from huge semi tents in Amboseli park next to Kilimanjaro to wooden lodges nestled in the hill side in Rhino Valley, and all included all meals except for drinks (very affordable still).
Two things to bear in mind when going on the safari:
- bring mosquito repellant, a lot of it.
- bring lots of small amounts of cash for tipping and souvenir bargaining (no ATMs in the jungle, and at times the card machines don't work in the hotels).

This trip was way above our expectations - thanks a lot Moureen and Daniel for an unforgettable experience!

A small company delivers a uniquely personal and exciting safari with flair, integrity and efficiency
5/5

Laura, our safari was a resounding success. From the onset of our e-mail communication, I have felt trust in your ability to provide us with a unique safari experience. Our encounters with the Hadzabih, the Datoga tribes and the Massai in their own environments were informative and felt touching.

Against the backdrop of our numerous successful game drives we experienced the bush habitat on the scale of insects, birds, trees, chameleons, to gazelles and the majestic lions, elephants and giraffes. Paul didn’t fail to point out every creature that moved. He shared his incredible depth of knowledge generously. We consider Paul in a class by himself. His expertise and people skills reflect very well on Amazing Tanzania.

Accomodations everywhere were excellent. Each place provided a personal touch. It felt like a blessing that Tarangire Safari Lodge had a vacancy In the end. Annette made a personal effort to make gluten-free food for Jane- so did the rest of the places, including Chris at Kismeda Ngeda Lodge. You gave us a taste of luxury at Gibbs, the Plantation and your own Salei boutique Amazing Tanzania camp. When we arrived after a rough, almost six-hour 4-wheel ride straight across the plains and hills (“as the crow flies” in American idiom) we sat down and laughed in front of the dining room tent where the dinner table was set. We couldn’t believe what we saw.

Throughout our three nights stay, Thomas with the assistance of the chefs prepared and served us scrumptious meals (by the way, Jane wrote extensively in the guestbook).

The heart of our safari was at Aadje’s Ndutu lodge. It was an excellent choice. Aadje welcomed us with great warmth and had us over several times at her host table. It is an exquisitely Iocated and well –run lodge. Of course, the fact that she joined us for the Salei portion of the safari was a treat as well.

Yes, the flash flood was a highlight so was our hike toward the table in the still relatively dry riverbed, the muddy water fall and the visit with the Massai—compliments to Thomas (who accompanied me back from the hike to the car) and Jackson who orchestrated the Massai visits as well.

I speak for all four of us I’m sure, when I say that I will unreservedly recommend Amazing Tanzania to friends, acquaintances and the public at large, when given an opportunity.

taylor made safari
5/5

Me and my friend asked Transtrek Safaris to organize taylor made safari for us from Diani Beach to Nairobi taking in 3 Safari parks on the way. It was very well organized, we stayed in lovely lodges and safari camps, our guide/driver was available to us 24/7 to take us on morning and evening game drives and even adding a visit to Masai village. Thank you for the amazing time! Highly recommended!

Outstanding Safari Company, Exceptional Experience and Service!
5/5

Thanks to everyone Inside Afrika Safaris for your high level of experience and professionalism in making our safaris truly amazing adventures. I have had the pleasure of bringing several groups of friends with me on safari through various game parks in Tanzania. From our initial enquiries, Saada and Rajab were able to craft wonderful itineraries for each of my groups to reflect their interests and exceed their expectations. Nothing can compare to the excitement of seeing millions of wilderbeest and zebra during their migration. With the best safari guides you can imagine, Rajabu and his team have provided us with safaris of a lifetime. All are safe, skilful drivers, whose professionalism, knowledge and sense of fun make it a fantastic experience. What sets this safari company above the others is the attention to detail, comfortable, well maintained, deluxe Land Cruisers with cooler boxes, bottled water and charging stations. Everyone loves the accommodation which is mix of comfortable lodges and tented camps, all with en-suites, in wonderful locations. In some camps, the staff have even put on concerts for us with singing and dancing. Vehicles are cleaned daily and guides go out of their way to make everyone’s holiday the best it can possibly be. Inside Afrika Safaris provide a mix of wildlife, culture and activities. They can tailor your safari, which means you are not just sitting in a vehicle all day, but have the option of hunting with local tribes, canoeing, cycling, walking and experiencing nature at its best. What I love about this company is that the guides are well look after and treated respectfully. Inside Afrika has a strong commitment to the environment, and assists local communities and a local orphanage. I would highly recommend this company for your Tanzanian adventure.

I made the inquiry about self catering cottages and they were back within no time. I was impressed.
4/5

I clearly noticed the element of professionalism, the hospitality industry is full of personnel without professional training and many companys relay on cheap labor. Keep it up and that is the next frontier in tourism, one stop shop where you get all the information for one's travel needs. In tourism time is of great value and your guy responded even when i thought he was not in the office, after hours.
Keep it up guys.

Amasing experience!
5/5

The tour with African Scenic Safaris was well organised. We had enough time in each of the 3 parks : 2 nights in Tarangire, 2 nights in Ndutu, 3 nights in Serengeti and 2 nights in Ngorongoro Crater.

African Scenic Safari gave us excellent prompt responses to our early enquiries with useful advise. The replies were clearly personal responses to our querries, and were not just standard text.

Tom, our driver/guide, was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. He had a great ability to spot animals hidden in the grass and in trees.
The drives between parks were sometimes quite long but necessary.

The Hibiscus B&B in Moshi was very basic and security men talked quite loud all night despite being asked not to. We would not choose that accomodation again.

Maramboi tented Camp in Tarangira was very nice. The staff were very friendly, the food was great and we highly recommend the early morning walk to the lake.

Wilderness Camps in Ndutu and Serengeti were amasing experiences. The staff were great, the camp was not crowded and we felt very special there.

The Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge was in a good location, friendly staff and good food. A bit noisy between rooms and from the kitchen (radio blaring)

Overall a well organised trip and we highly recommend this Tour operator.
