The lodge chosen (Jambo) was superb and the vehicle we booked for just the two of us (2) were perfect. As for our guide, Tony, he was simply EXCEPTIONAL. Note on the safari period: between February 25 and 29, the sky is not really blue, it rains at the end of the day or at night (but the following week, there were 5 days of great weather!) , there are fewer animals but ultimately we are (almost) alone in this superb reserve!!!!

This was my first trip to Kenya, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment we touched down at JKIA, we were so well taken care of. Our drivers for the first part of our trip were so wonderful and patient dealing with 12 different opinions. They even complimented my mom and aunt’s singing…non-stop…for 4 hours :) The Mombasa based crew was also amazing as well. Every tour was so well thought out too, giving us a good mix of safari-type experiences and cultural experiences. I would absolutely book with Leisure Trips in the future.

Fantastic 2 night 3 day Camping Safari to Chobe National Park
We bought our Tickets through Umkulu Tours in Soth Africa. The transfer from Victoria Falls was seemless. Kalahari Tours has a very slick and smooth organisation. One is taken from the border to a their cafe HQ for breakfast. One boards a boat for a three hour tour on the Chobe River. Then lunch at the cafe. Nearly all their customers for the day do this. After the tour one enters the safari vehicle (well-designed and comfortable) for entry into the park.
Our tour guide was Sam who I think headed the guides for Kalahari Tours. Sam and his cook/assistant at Boga campsite were extraordinary. The food was amazing prepared as it was in camp conditions over open fires. Sam was an incredible, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide, who went out of his way to provide a memorable experience. Sam even tracked animals leaning from the vehicle. He was very aware of the home range and potential location of predators, including lions and leopards.
The camping experience was excellent though slightly scary. One heard elephants, lions and hyenas during the night. Ideally on shouldn't leave ones tent at night. If you need to pee you do it behind the tent preferably with your partner in tow.

We used Janwans tours for 3 days trip to Masaai mara national park, from Nakuru and would highly recommend this company. Our driver make sure we were comfortable and able to see most of animals, i had a group of 23 people and they were all happy. We got to see plenty of game including elephants and Lions. The jeep was very comfortable.They did a great job for a reasonable price.

Fun!
Coming from Canada, I was very excited to be going on a safari for the first time. One Heart Travel made my trip to Arusha fun and relaxed. I didn't have to worry about anything as they were so organized. I especially enjoyed the trekking adventure and game drive down the Ngorongoro crater.
