Amazing Country! Highest Service Quality!
5/5

- Super friendly & flexible: Philemon came to meet us after every event and got feedback on how to improve things for the next set of things. He went out of his way to help out my friends who had some delayed baggage.
- Work Crew: The people that aardvark seems to work with all seemed top notch. Our guides & crew for the Kilimanjaro trek were super attentive and made sure that we were well fed (the food was pretty yummy) & helped us make it to Uhuru Point. Even singing songs to motivate us on summit day which I didn't see anyone else do that night!! All of us made it to the top. The safari guide was also extremely professional & knowledgeable about the area and the animals.
- Equipment - most of the equipment was in pretty good shape. I had some trouble on the tent zips during the kili hike, i would urge that they add a checklist on these tents before sending them up the mountain. The Safari jeep was brand new. The safari jeep was also in pretty good shape.
- Lodging - The lodging that Aardvark booked for us for the safari (Kati Kati Lodge in Serengeti & Rhino Lodge at Ngorogoro) were amazing - Scenic, Great Service, Clean & awesome showers. The Arusha outpost lodge: not so great (the only good things here are the Indian food at the lodge cafe & the WIFI - works better than in most other places but the showers here suck big time)

Overall, The experience was great. The value for money was excellent. We made some friends for life.

Good operator, reasonably priced and very responsive
4/5

Right Choice was the most responsive operator I found and they followed up on all my questions and suggestions in a timely manner. The tour costs were extremely competitive for what you get and they were very flexible on customizing the tour. For instance, I asked that I did not want to go over Likoni ferry on the way from Tsavo to Diani and we worked out a back route bypassing Mombasa altogether. As an aside, if you are planning to go to Masai Mara, make sure you choose a 4wd.

Along with the Mara, Tsavo West is one of my favorites. The red dirt landscape is just incredible. Beautiful animals, stunning views and great accommodations. Holds a special place in my heart. I would highly recommend it.

A great park to visit. I only spent a short time there but it was worth the trip. I was able to photograph some different wildlife, like the Gerenuk. It was also really pretty landscape.

Lake Nakuru was really flooded when I went. But it was still a great place for wildlife and birds. Love the baboons!

Wildlife right next to Nairobi
Overall rating
3/5

This was my second trip to Kenya and I really wanted to see NNP. When we first entered the park we saw our first white rhinos of the trip and some giraffes with the city of Nairobi in the background. That was pretty surreal. We did not see a ton of wildlife but when we did see the animals, it was great. We saw lions, eland, zebras, gazelle, hartebeest, ostrich, quite a few birds and other wildlife and even a green mamba snake. It was really cool to see all the whistling acacia trees. All in all it was a nice park right outside the city so very convenient. The weather was mostly cool and overcast. I'm glad I made it to NNP.
