Toro-Semliki Wildlife Reserve is only 60km/37mi by road from Fort Portal (which is also the closest town to Kibale National Park). The first half of this 1.5-hour* drive is on a fair surfaced road that switchbacks spectacularly down the Rwenzori foothills; the second half is on a flat murram track that might require a 4x4 vehicle after heavy rain. Coming directly from the capital city, Kampala, the 350km/217mi drive to Toro-Semliki takes 7 to 8 hours*.

You will enter Uganda through Entebbe International Airport (EBB) near the town of Entebbe, 46km/29mi from Kampala. Your tour operator will usually arrange for your pickup from the airport and organize any travel needed as part of your safari package.
