Its the Serengeti what else should I say. You should visit this park. You have the chance to see most of the large game, birds, the lot. The accommodations were great, people are wonderful. Take a morning ballon ride over the Serengeti it is worth the trip...

An amazing environment that you cannot miss! The park is huge and will get you a lot closer to nature. You can see all the big cats here and the wildebeest are amazing!

Nowhere else on the planet will you find wildlife like you will on the Serengeti. It was an amazing time. Animals everywhere. You see many animals the first few days then you track down the harder to see animals like the leopard and cheetah. The scenes are breath-taking and the animals...unbelievable. You need to spend at least 3-4 days here to see everything and the park is like a small country so you won't see it all but there is enough to see anywhere you go. In the north park of the park your driver must stay on the roads at all times. In the south part of the park you are more free to roam as you please. Most people go to the north because of its proximity to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. But you will see animals...lots of them. Trust me.

The perfect Journey

The days I spent in Serengeti National Park during my stay in Tanzania have been amazing. Immese strethces of flat land surrounded by nothing but the horizon and the most exciting animals making you company during your safaris are breathtaking emotions, not comparable to the everyday routine that we are used to all along our lives.
Moving through the park by the jeep, with a local prepared guide who drives you to the most precious locations makes it even better than it already is.
The weather I found in August was great, a fresh wind always accompanied us, even when the temperature under the sun got higher.
The accommodations are very limited, as there are quite a few lodges. But their quality is just superior; but food is not what makes the difference in this kind of journey.

Visit the park's Serengeti is a bit like leaving for a few days the entire world and immerse themselves in Eden. Yes, this is my idea of paradise. I loved everything about this park, from stunning landscapes to wildlife.

The Safari was memorable but the park is expansive and one needs more than a few days there.

The wildlife was great with a spectacular number of wildebeast and zebra. There were many lions as well but they all seemed pretty content just lazing around. Didn't see many young, but we may be early in the season. The scenery was ok, but it's mainly just plains. The weather was almost perfect....not too hot, not too cold. The camps are varied in services and amenities so make sure you do your homework. They range from camps with no running water to the Four Seasons.

a very large National Park
possibility to rest in the park near the animals
possibility to see the Great Migration in a large part of the year (not in August, the animals were at Masai Mara National Park)

Endless plains, short and long grass, Acacia trees. distant mountains, kopjes, and thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrating. Add lions, gazelles, giraffes, elephants, Kori Bustards, Secretary birds, leopard tortoise, and the occasional leopard in a tree and it's hard to beat. The road is horrible, so prepare to a jarring ride. But you'll stop frequently to view the animals and scenery, so don't worry.
