Serengeti is a well preserved piece of our original world

Serengeti takes you back to what earth was before the human beings started exploiting it. Serengeti is unspoiled nature, a place where the animals still are free to wander without threats from human beings. We saw all kinds of wild animals, including the big five! Wildlife is intensive, a lot of animals from all kinds of species. Our guide ha profound knowlegde about animals, the migration, the nature and more. Transport was good, but the roads were hard fore the tires. The highlight was when we saw a lioness hunt alone and kill a Buffalo.

Serengeti National Park: Tanzania's gift to the world

The people of the planet owe a debt to Tanzania for preserving the Serengeti National Park, and other amazing parks in the country. These beautiful ancient places are a privilege to visit, and I feel my life was enriched immeasurably by being able to view the animals in their natural habitat. In addition, the landscape of the park itself is stunning. I would highly recommend a visit at any time and for any age of traveler. It is my greatest hope to be able to return sometime in my life.

The Heaven really exists!

We had a wonderful journey in Serengeti with Savannah Explorers. We saw a lot of animals and we got amazed by the incredible wildlife that can be found in the beautiful scenery of Serengeti National Park. It is an endless plane where animals can be easily seen by the travellers. The sunset there is breathtaking and it's unique. The weather was godd and we had the opportunity to get around the park with no worries about the climate conditions. Our accomodations was the Osupuko Tented Camp in the central part of the Park, in Seronera, and it was clean, safe and the staff was very friendly and warm with us. We had great meals there thank to the competence and carefulness of the chef. Our car, driven by the Savannah's guide, took us from the gate to the central area of the park and the car driver proved to be careful and attentive. He explained us everything about the local wildlife and flora. Our vacation has been unforgettable and allowed us to know more about the greatest Safari Park of the world. We will keep that experience in our heart forever!

We spent multiple days in the Serengeti and every day was different in terms of wildlife and the overall experiences. Staying in a mobile tented camp meant we were in the midst of everything and we saw a LOT of wildlife.

We went all over, and saw everything: birth, death, mating...I can't say enough about what a fantastic experience.

Amazing views and animals everywhere

The amount of big game animals was amazing. Traveling to Tanzania was the best trip I have ever taken in my life

Best park on earth for being a guest amongst the wild.

In March of this year I was so lucky to visit Serengeti National Park for the fourth time. Being a guest of the wild, the nature in this beautiful area, is an experience I will never take for granted nor forget about. Allthough it is the fourth time, I see , hear and smell different things every hour of my visit. The wildlife is very impressing and amazing species passed me while I being there in adorable amounts!!!
The park is well taken care of, public places are neat and clean.
Not only the wildlife is terrific, every part of Serengeti is different from another, far views, trees, mountains, rocks, kopjes, rivers and lakes... it´s all there and we were lucky to experinece the veriaty of areas during our visit. It´s rougher than the other parks and so seems the wildlife.

It was a wonderful experience of a lifetime, to get immersed in nature and the wilderness.

We had visited Serengeti National Park with family in the month of March 2015. We were quite apprehensive that heavy rains will spoil our safari in the month of March which is rainy season in Serengeti. But that never happened and we were treated with wonderful sightings of large number of zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, wild buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, birds and of course the big cats - Lions. Leopards and rhinos were elusive though. We are not allowed to drive off road, therefore the chances of seeing all wildlife are slim, but it is heartening to note that this way the pristine Savannah is preserved. We stayed at Serengeti Serena lodge which is situated in the middle of grasslands, with aesthetically designed cottages, wonderful staff and great food. We really enjoyed our stay there. We had booked the tour through Sunset Africa safari. Our driver and guide Mr. Ben was quite knowledgeable and friendly. The vehicle was a 4x4 Land Cruiser with openable roof and was in good condition. I am interested in wildlife photography and managed to click many photos which have been loaded on Flickr. Vast and never ending beauty

Scenery and weather was brilliant when I was there. It was the start of the rainy season, thus the wildlife concentration was slightly less than it will be during other parts of the year. However the variety of wildlife made up for it.
