You must see Kruger n.p.
We spent half of december and half of january in South Africa.
5 days in Kruger whith a guide: It is posible go there on you own, but if you want to see any cats, I recomend to you to get a guide.(without guide I could not see lion on 50m)
It is huge place and without a guide you need month to see it.
7 days in Dragon mountains: We hired a car (small toyota) and traveled mountains on our own. It was easy. Not much trafic in highways and local roads are in good shape. Only to get to car park up to Witieshoeck we used local shuttle.
Cape town 7 days: Easy with hired car (vw polo).
To trawel between Johanesburg, Cape town and Durban it is cheep and easy to take flight.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience!
I booked my safari trip with MoAfrica and we opted for their 10 day luxury South African package. Everything was amazing and the support from the company was always available whenever we had questions. Tour guides were professional and a pleasure to interact with. We did the 4 day safari at Kapama River Lodge and it was a magnificent experience. The lodge is beautiful and you see so many animals just from the bush right in front of the restaurant and spa. Game drivers were incredible with abundant sightings of the big 5 and so much more. One of a kind experience all around!

An overall awesome experience with great scenery, a bush vibe, wonderful wildlife and the best guide
This was our umpteenth trip to South Africa and it did not disappoint. We were recommended a place to stay in Nelspruit by our Tour company - Kruger Flexi Tours - and enjoyed a luxurious night at Beetleloop Guest house before being picked up before dawn by Dave Busschau from Kruger Flexi Tours in an open safari vehicle. We were soon in the Kruger National Game park and within 2 hours Dave had helped us spot four of the big five and many beautiful birds and other smaller animals. Following further game viewing we arrived at our camp of Lower Sabie which was extremely hot and humid. Despite the heat our exciting and knowledgeable guide made us a braai (bbq) which was delicious. A night drive followed with further amazing wildlife to enjoy! Further game driving the following day all the way to Sabi Sands, a private game park. Here we spent 24 luxurious hours being spoilt rotten and entertained with the most amazing time enjoying the big cats. The amazing Dave Busschau drove us back to Nelspruit the following afternoon. South Africa is one of the best destinations for wildlife, scenery and culture.
South Africa is a beautiful country for a holiday
For wildlife, Kruger Park is highly recommended. Private game drives (such as at Tomo Lodge) are also highly recommended. With an expert guide, you can see the Big Five; and many other animals. You can eat delicious food in South Africa - the prices in restaurants are relatively low. People are generally friendly. However, there are areas that you should not visit as a tourist, because you may become a victim of crime. The use of trains and buses is also not recommended.
