Once in a lifetime experience
Our South Africa family holiday was a total blast! Maybe the best ever. South Africa is so blessed with natural beauty, including the people. And the wildlife? Second to none, IMHO. Joburg has so much history while Cape Town is one the most beautiful cities in the world! Definitely South Africa is a must travel destination.

Contrasting
Loved Kruger and our guide. Crazy weather but the animals were very cool to see.
Tremisana was good and the Tree houses adequate.
Blackouts annoying but added to the vibe.

South Africa is a stunningly beautiful place and well worth a visit. It is also modern and sophisticated
We really enjoyed Pilanesberg and our game drives were the highlight of our trip. We saw a lot of amazing wildlife and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our lodge was lovely and made us feel very spoilt

So many different moments, sights, drives, people, accommodations - just GREAT! Never to forget!
It was such a great experience! Viva Safari (our tour operator) did a great job by showing us so many different aspects of the South African wildlife, the differences of Krueger NP and the Private Game Reserves as well as the struggling of Rehabilitation Centers for animals. We stayed in different lodges, which was also very exciting. All the people we met were so friendly, hosting an really loved what they do. We had a wonderful time and will definitely do it again!

Life changing experience, especially Kambaku Lodge, Tibavati Nature Reserve.
Timbavati Nature Reserve, Kambaku Lodge, was an incredible experience. Our ranger ensured that we saw every form of wildlife, it seemed like a dream. The warm hospitality of the staff, food, drink, was exceptional. It felt like a family gathering with the best vibe. Air conditioning in the huts would be the only recommendation. Kambaku Lodge, highly recommended.

A land of beauty and warmth
My husband and I have been wanting to experience a Safari so for my 60th birthday we chose to go to South Africa. In all honesty, we chose SA because it was an easier destination to get to from Hungary, where we currently live. The country and our experience being there did not disappoint. We are so glad we chose this destination. South Africa is blessed with a diverse landscape. In the north is the Savannah/bush that during March was still green and lush. The south, around Cape Town has beautiful mountains, white sandy beaches, and of course the ocean. Tourism is an important contributor to the SA economy and our experience was that the country and its people are second to none in welcoming tourists. Staff at the game reserves, hotels, restaurants, attractions work tirelessly to make sure your experience is the best it can be. We went to 2 game reserves (Sabi Sands & Kruger) and then spent a few days in Cape Town and its surroundings. We saw many animals in the game reserves and the lodges were beautiful. Cape Town has great food, many shops, a beautiful old town, gorgeous vineyards and the Cape of Good Hope. All worth a visit. We had a great experience and recommend SA to anyone considering it.

How to feel a deep connection with wildlife
We visited Madikwe and our experience was beyond words. The feeling of connection with wildlife without feeling like we are disturbing the animals or inducing new behaviors due to our presence meant a lot to us. Seeing them in their environment, living side by side and drinking side by side (zebras, impalas, …) by the pond in a tranquil and placid way was spectacular. Seeing lions and cubs was quite an experience too!
South African open skies offer a lot to enjoy at night when you just lift the head up and contemplate stars.
