Chasing colors
Beautiful vegetation everywhere. Very active bird lives. Flowers and birds are the perfect combination of colors and shapes. Magnificent coasts and mountains. Although I wish humans have not set foot in this continent, so that wild animals are not blocked and persecuted from farms to farms.

South Africa was a beautiful, diverse, welcoming 1st world country.
Kathi at Safari bookings did a wonderful professional job of steering us to things to do and places to see in South Africa.
Some highlight were:
* the amazing Cradle of Human Kind
* historical tours of
*seeing the “Big Five” and more on safari
*memorable tours around Cape Town including Table Mountain , the Cape of Good Hope, and a day of tasting S. African wines
*the beautifulydone Cape Town Aquarium
*we concluded our vacation with spectacular sunsets on evening beach walks in the sleepy little fishing village of Paternoster
It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend vacationing in South Africa.

A beautiful country with complexities that you can feel. Very organized for tourism
My tour operator was Mzansi Experience. Not expensive and really very good. The parks are wonderful and full of animals, it is a very varied landscape. Tourists are welcomed with kindness and attention everywhere. Unfortunately I can't say I've lived the cities, because are described as dangerous, and in hotels they don't recommend walking - even during the day - so I didn't visit either the center of Cape Town or Johannesburg

Wonderful, beautiful country still trying to cast off the impacts of apartheid
Internal flights with Airlink are frequent, really great value and comfortable.
Capetown was as vibrant as I expected, excellent food and drinks quality and pricing, huge choice of both on the V&A Waterfront. Uber is you best friend for getting around anywhere, especially at night time for safety / peace of mind.
Capetown can be a very 'breezy' city, plan your tour activities - Table Mountain / Robben Island etc. based on the weather forecasts!! Book fast track access to both tours. Spend an afternoon or two watching the world go by from any number of V&A waterfront venues. The outdoor bar couches of the V&A Hotel offer the best view of the mountain.
WEAR SUNSCREEN in summer!!
Amakhala Game reserve in the Eastern Cape (near Port Elizabeth) is a wonderful destination for your 'safari', with Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Zebras, White and Black Rhinos, Warthogs, Porcupines, foxes, numerous antelope species, fascinating flora and fauna, especially if you stay with Woodbury Lodge, where the rangers are incredibly knowledgeable. The whole team here are really welcoming and professional, the facilities are top notch. My safari trip was perfectly organised by ATP (Africatravelportfolio).

Beyond amazing
This was one of the most impressive trips in my life. We spent 19 days in this amazing country - in Cape Town and around, Kruger Park safari and Johannesburg. Absolutely wonderful to go to enjoy the sunny weather in November/December when back home it's cold and dark. Mind blowing beauty of nature, the extraordinary experience observing wildlife, authentic simple but charming places, but also super sophisticated ones - you find everything there! Sunsets, beaches, mountains, animals (beside safari wildlife you see in free nature also African penguins, seals, ostriches, baboons etc.), colourful buildings, local craft markets, live music, dances, rooftops, street art and art galleries, so yummy food, wine tastings, shopping, warm hearted people. Cape Town has this really laid back vibe whilst Johannesburg the very urban one, city of big contrasts. We loved absolutely everything! And even the regular electricity outages (you learn to manage them) made us appreciate what we taking for granted back home. A big thank you goes to Safari Bookings for our 4-days Kruger experience. Everything was so perfectly organised - the lodges and tree houses were an experience itself... then the wildlife so close - superlative of excitement. The rangers were so passionate to show as much as possible - we so all BIG 5 and so many other animals! National Geographic live. Very grateful for all what we could experience in SA. I would recommend to everybody to go there at least once in life time.
Exceptional 5-Star Safari Experience in South Africa
My recent safari in South Africa was an absolute gem, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. The guide was nothing short of amazing, offering insightful knowledge that added depth to every wildlife encounter.
Accommodations were top-notch — clean, luxurious, and perfectly situated in the heart of the wilderness. The sunset game drives were magical, painting the sky with vibrant hues, and the diverse landscapes provided a stunning backdrop for unforgettable wildlife sightings.

Amazing, beautiful country, such diversity of wildlife with fantastic food, drink & service.
We stayed in three different places so experienced a variety of environments. Walker Bay was beautiful, we visited caves and the beach, went shark cage diving, horse riding and stayed in a beautiful private nature reserve in exquisite lodges amogst milk wood trees. The second part of our trip was in Cape Town, we booked fast track tickets to Table Mountain which was thoroughly worthwhile! The scenery is stunning. We then booked a driver to take us to Stellenbosh wine tasting. Again stunningly beautiful with great food & wine! We walked a long way from Fresnae to The Waterfront and took a rather worrying shortcut so wish we had stayed on the front where it felt safe. Best to get taxis! The third part was in the Kruger National Park, in a small safari lodge which was amazing. We saw so many animals, the big 5, the ugly 5 and so much more. Incredible experiences. Throughout the whole experience the people were friendly helpful and we were looked after beautifully by Kim from Safari online and the hotel staff at Grootbos private nature reserve, The Clarendon Fresnae and Baobab Ridge Safari Lodges. I can't recommend it more highly!
