South Africa was an amazing experience. The scenery was stunning. Big and beautiful! The food everywhere was just great and for us Brits at the moment it was pretty cheap. The weather was great too - not too hot so great for some fab walks along beautiful coastline.
Excellent infrastructure for tourism, plenty of options (tours/hotels/restaurants) for a wide budget range, plenty of information available online.

South Africa is a mixture of all scenery we love. You can drive from desert, to mountains to unspoiled beaches in just one day. The views are breathtaking. The added value of SA are the animals, lovely people and the great food and wines.
We will be back to explore more :)

South Africa is a beautiful country with lots of options available for safari travel in a variety of landscapes and biospheres. These range from the deserts of the Karoo and Kgalagadi to the World famous Kruger and surrounding parks.

We've visited several parks in South Africa and Swaziland and they were all great. The scenery is amazing and forever changing. Of course you need a little bit of luck but a knowledgeable guide is worth a lot. The people in general are great and cooperation between guides helps you to see what you want to see. The birds and birding were a revelation. I knew about the wildlife and was expecting to photograph that but did not expect so many beautiful and different birds in front of my lens that I did. Simply amazing.

Even so i have just been to 2 parks and game reserve during my stay in South Africa, i would recomend SA is a great destination for Safari. There seam to be so many. Good infrastructure to get to the parks and book tours from various operators. The animals and parks seam to be taken good care of.

It's hard to believe Madikwe was once farmland. It seems like the animals have always been there. They've clearly adapted and it is truly a wild place that is so expansive. It would take a lifetime to experience it all.
South Africa is the country for Wild life. With many Natural Reserves for safaris.
There is safaris for everybody. Oceans, Big Five, Birds....
