Unspoilt natural beauty and wildlife, and the exceptional service from our campsites

The country is in its infancy and hence not that overdevelopd to scar the natural habitat. The pricing structure of the wild card enables a local South African to still enjoy the game park.

There is a wide variety of game, birds and flora to see. The climate is great, lots of sunshine.
The country is possessed of enormously varied scenery - from large scale, stupendous grandeur to the exquisitely 'bijou'. The parks are located variously - on the coast and inland. Seemingly virtually unmatched diversity of flora and fauna which is very accessible. Good roads, generally helpful and friendly people, excellent food, excellent wine. No praise is high enough. It is most certainly not an idle boast when South Africans (truthfully) state that 'it's all the world in one country'.
some interesting parks and landscapes

Just perfect really. We like to organise or holydays ourselfs and rent a car. SA is a modern country with good roads, great scenery and lot's of naturereserves to choose from.
The number of parks in South Africa are not matched by any other country.
Few other countries offer such extraordinary biodiversity and beautiful scenery - don't miss out!

Go to Addo for the wildlife viewing in a sublime landscape. Much of the main viewing area is fenced and the roads paved, which limits the 'bush' vibe. But we never experienced the swarms of vehicles one might see in Kruger National Park.
South Africa has a wonderful variety of wildlife that would be difficult to find anywhere else. The park I visited was clean (in the sense of being free of litter and polution), and had wide open views. For the most part you didn't see any fences, and felt like you were out in the wild. Also, for those from the northern hemisphere, South Africa can be a nice flip of climates, and has beautiful clear skys for observing stars you would never see at home.
