disappointed not to see a pride of lions during one and a half days of game drives in Kruger
Five stars to Cape Town. Durban and Johannesburg are disappointing. I booked our safari on this website. It was definitely a memorable life time experience. I was surprised to see that the CEO of timeline travel came to take us from the airport being our driver guide. He came driving a Toyota Avanza which was not enough to accommodate the five of us with our five bags, car seat and a pram in addition to the driver, so we were squeezed during the five hour drive from Johannesburg Airport to Hazyview and also on the way back from Hazyview to Johannesburg airport. The accommodation was good in Kruger Park Lodge in general. The 3 bedroom chalet was very nice but had only one shower and no air conditioning in the main living room although the weather was hot. Dinner in the lodge was very good. The visit to the panorama route was really beautiful through Graskop, God's Window, Bourk's Potholes and the three rondavels (Blyde River Canyon). The lunch in the Potholes was pathetic and there definitely should be something else other than the one and only ugly busy restaurant. The one and a half days of game drives was a fantastic experience for a first timer. Yet I was disappointed not to properly see the big five. We saw enough Rhinos, Buffalo and Elephants but we only saw one Leopard hanging on a tree from a distance and only one sleeping lioness turning its back on us from a distance.

Excellent
The game druves were so good. We saw a lot of animals, more than we were expected. we came very close to the elephants, lions and cheetas!
Mostly of the guides told us a lot about the animals and were alsop connected with other drivers to see animals and then give us more experiences.
The food were very well prepaired and so many options. They serving us more than we need:)
We will for sure bee back again in this fantastic country!

Saw all of the Big 5 in One Day!!!
We did the 4-day tour of Kruger and Greater Kruger with Viva Safaris and could not be happier. I have friends who have done safaris and paid $3,000 USD+. The most important thing for me was just seeing the animals and Viva Safaris did not disappoint. We saw all of the big 5 in one day and a cheetah which is apparently very rare. The treehouse and accommodations are obviously not The Four Seasons Hotel but that is not why I personally go on safari to begin with. The staff were professional, nice and worked together to make sure we had the best chance to see as many animals as possible. The BBQ on our first night was amazing and we were surrounded by a pack of hyenas which was crazy. Amazing experience all around!

It was good but wouldn't do it again
The safari experience was good but the safari provider not so much. If you enjoy sitting on a car for long long ours, this is your kind of activity. We didn't do anything else than sitting in a car for 3 straight days. Not my favorite plan, need some more adrenaline.

Aquila is terrible. May as well go to a zoo!!
Terrible. Not really a safari. Beside main road, loads of fences and gates. Few animals. Day at zoo would.be better

Wow, up close and personal with the magnificent wild life of South Africa!
After several trips to South Africa I have finally found what I have been looking for. This time I got to experience the real deal, staying in a bush camp on a private reserve. Wall to wall wildlife which because you are on a private reserve, you are driven right along side as the guides can take you off road. The accommodation was comfortable and clean in air conditioned tents; the food to die for (home cooked, traditional South Africa Food); my guides went above and beyond to give me my fill of wildlife and were very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. This trip has been such a highlight in my life so much so that I am returning to repeat it this coming winter.

Unique experience
We loved our trip to South Africa, nature and wildlife are so unspoiled and beautiful. Capetown was a surprise, and the weather helped a great deal, sunny almost every day with very little rain and not too hot for sightseeing.
Our stay at the Black Rhino Game lodge for the safari was also fantastic, all went smoothly with the airport transfers and the reserve was amazing, we saw lots of wild animals, loved the game drives and our guide was great. Highly recommended!
