Diverse unpredictable wildlife sightings and action in 10 game drives at 3 different lodges
We were blessed with sightings of the major big cats: male and female lions and cubs (in various activities: a mating couple, young cubs suckling mommy lioness, 3 young male lions feeding on carcass, 2 lionesses face off a rhino family; a male and female lioness staking and chasing a warthog); cheetahs (brothers and within family) in Phinda park reserve; leopards (and even 1 one that prowled at Kirkman Kamp where we stayed).
Also saw several white rhinos, hyenas, genet, dwarf mangoose, besides lots of zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest.
Weather was pleasant: dry and cold in mornings.
Food and accommodation was excellent, with good variety and quantity of food and very comfortable bedding and bathrooms.
Rangers and drivers knew their stuff and got us key cat activities and also close to the action.

Absolutely life changing, surreal, and incredible!
Everything about my safari in South Africa was amazing! The people who worked for Viva Safaris were all so nice, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable. I learned so much from them about South African wildlife, foliage, and culture. The scenery in the bush varied by location, which made each place unique, and Kruger National Park was just beautiful. It was a great experience to see so many different types of landscape in one place.
We saw SO many animals, too! Elephants, giraffes, and various species of antelope were in abundance. Our guides also patiently, diligently, and expertly searched for lions, since that's all we wanted to see, and they did not disappoint! We were also lucky enough to see rhinos, hippos, wildebeest, baboons, and so many animal species I've never even heard of. It was a surreal experience to see all of these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Truly breathtaking and life changing.
The lodging and food were adequate - definitely worth it at the affordable price point. The weather was perfect. Overall, my experience is one I won't soon forget and I've talked about it nonstop since I've been back!

Excellent, magic, exciting safari experiences with knowlegdeable guides, good comfort, food and wine
The wildlife was fantastic. We saw every animals we had dreamt to see, several times, for instance lions, chitas, leopard, buffalo, rinos, hyenes, girafs, huge elephants. The accommondation was excellent african, best guides ever. Great to be wifi free for tree days. Highly reccommended
All in one
Guided tour and escorted transport made me safe always and could enjoy the country. Accommodation ranges from decent to luxury, I got what I paid for. The wildlife appeal is great despite tarred roads being everywhere. But not only wildlife, the scenery, history, and cuisine are fantastic. All in one country.
Fantastic land
